He called to himself his twelve disciples, and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal every disease and every sickness.

Jesus sent these twelve out and commanded them, saying, “Do not go among the Gentiles, and do not enter into any city of the Samaritans.

Rather, go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

As you go, preach, saying, ‘The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!’

Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, and cast out demons. Freely you received, so freely give.

Do not take any gold, silver, or brass in your money belts.

Take no bag for your journey, neither two coats, nor sandals, nor staff: for the laborer is worthy of his food.
11 “Dala kata gwengʼ moro amora mudonje to manyuru ngʼato mowinjore modak kanyo, kendo beduru e ode nyaka chop chiengʼ ma ua.
Into whatever city or village you enter, find out who in it is worthy, and stay there until you go on.
12 Ka udonjo e dala to moseuru.
As you enter into the household, greet it.
13 Ka dala mudonjeno en dala mowinjore, to kwe maru nodongʼne, to ka ok kamano, to kweuno noduognu.
If the household is worthy, let your peace come on it, but if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you.
14 Kaonge ngʼama oyie rwakou kata winjo wecheu, to tengʼuru buru momoko e tiendeu sa ma uwuok e odno kata e dalano.
Whoever does not receive you or hear your words, as you go out of that house or that city, shake the dust off your feet.
15 Awachonu adier ni nobed maberber ne Sodom gi Gomora chiengʼ ngʼado bura moloyo dalano.
Most certainly I tell you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city.
16 Aorou mondo udhi mana kaka rombe madhi e dier ondiegi. Kuom mano, beduru mariek ka thuonde, kendo mamuol ka akuche.
“Behold, I send you out as sheep among wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.

But beware of men, for they will deliver you up to councils, and in their synagogues they will scourge you.

Yes, and you will be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony to them and to the nations.

But when they deliver you up, do not be anxious how or what you will say, for it will be given you in that hour what you will say.
20 nimar un uwegi ok ema unuwuo, to Roho Maler mar Wuonu ema nowuo kokalo kuomu.
For it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you.
21 “Ngʼato nondhogi gi owadgi mondo onegi, kendo wuoro nondhog nyathine; nyithindo nongʼany ne jonywolgi kendo nomi neg-gi.
“Brother will deliver up brother to death, and the father his child. Children will rise up against parents and cause them to be put to death.
22 Ji duto nochau nikech an, to ngʼat ma ochungʼ motegno nyaka giko ema noresi.
You will be hated by all men for my name’s sake, but he who endures to the end will be saved.
23 Ka isandou kamoro, to daruru kanyo udhi kamachielo. Awachonu adier ni ok unutiek dhi e mier duto mag Israel kapok Wuod Dhano obiro.
But when they persecute you in this city, flee into the next, for most certainly I tell you, you will not have gone through the cities of Israel until the Son of Man has come.
24 “Japuonjre ok duongʼ moloyo japuonjne, kata jatich bende ok duongʼ moloyo ngʼama ruodhe motiyone.
“A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his lord.
25 Ber mondo japuonjre obed machal gi japuonjne, kendo ka jatich obedo machal gi ruodhe. Ka oseluong jatend ot ni Belzebub, koro jokanyo mag ode to ibiro luong kamano marom nade!
It is enough for the disciple that he be like his teacher, and the servant like his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebul, how much more those of his household!
26 “Omiyo kik uluorgi. Onge gimoro mopandi ma ok nofweny, kata malingʼ-lingʼ ma ok nongʼere.
Therefore do not be afraid of them, for there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known.
27 Gima anyisou kama opondo, wuouru kuome e ler; kendo gima akuodhonu e tie itu, huluru matek ewi udi.
What I tell you in the darkness, speak in the light; and what you hear whispered in the ear, proclaim on the housetops.
28 Kik uluor jogo manego ringruok to ok nyal nego chuny. To ngʼama onego uluor en Jal manyalo tieko chuny kaachiel gi ringruok e gehena. (Geenna g1067)
Do not be afraid of those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. Rather, fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna (Geenna g1067).
29 Oyundi ariyo donge ingʼiewo otonglo achiel? To kata kamano kata achiel kuomgi ok nyal lwar piny e lowo ka ok Wuonu ema oyie.
“Are not two sparrows sold for an assarion coin? Not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will.

But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.

Therefore do not be afraid. You are of more value than many sparrows.

Everyone therefore who confesses me before men, I will also confess him before my Father who is in heaven.
33 To ngʼato angʼata mokweda e nyim ji an bende nakwede e nyim Wuora manie polo.
But whoever denies me before men, I will also deny him before my Father who is in heaven.
34 “Kik upar ni asebiro mondo akel kwe e piny. Ne ok abiro mondo akel kwe, to nabiro mondo akel ligangla.
“Do not think that I came to send peace on the earth. I did not come to send peace, but a sword.
35 Nikech asebiro mondo aketh kind “‘ngʼato gi wuon mare, nyako gi min mare, chi wuowi gi dagi,
For I came to set a man at odds against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.
36 wasik ngʼato nobed joode owuon.’
A man’s foes will be those of his own household.
37 “Ngʼato angʼata mohero wuon-gi kata min-gi moloya ok owinjore koda. Kamano bende, ngʼato angʼata mohero wuode kata nyare moloya ok owinjore koda;
He who loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; and he who loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
38 kendo ngʼato angʼata ma ok kaw msalape mondo oluwa ok owinjore koda.
He who does not take his cross and follow after me is not worthy of me.
39 Ngʼatno momako ngimane matek, ngimane biro lalne; to ngʼatno mowito ngimane, nikech an, biro yude.
He who seeks his life will lose it; and he who loses his life for my sake will find it.
40 “Ngʼat morwakou orwaka, kendo ngʼama orwaka, orwako jal ma noora.
“He who receives you receives me, and he who receives me receives him who sent me.
41 Ngʼato angʼata morwako janabi, nikech en janabi, noyud pok ma janabi yudo, kendo ngʼato angʼata morwako ngʼama kare, nikech en ngʼama kare, noyud pok ma ngʼama kare yudo.
He who receives a prophet in the name of a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward. He who receives a righteous man in the name of a righteous man will receive a righteous man’s reward.
42 Bende ka ngʼato angʼata omiyo achiel kuom jomatindogi kata mana pi mangʼich gi kikombe, nikech en japuonjrena, to awachonu adier ni pokne ok nobaye ngangʼ.”
Whoever gives one of these little ones just a cup of cold water to drink in the name of a disciple, most certainly I tell you, he will in no way lose his reward.”
