Luka 17
1 Yesu nowachone jopuonjrene niya, “Gik mamiyo ji donjo e richo ochunore ni nyaka bedie, to okwongʼ ngʼatno makelo gigo.
Then said He to the disciples, It is impossible that offences should not come: but wo to him by whom they come.
2 Dine obedo maber ka otwene pongʼ e ngʼute, mi onyumego e nam moloyo komiyo achiel kuom jomatindogi timo richo.
It were better for him that a milstone were hung about his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, than that he should cause one of these little ones to offend.
3 Omiyo ritreuru uwegi. “Ka owadu otimo richo, kwere, to ka olokore oweyo richo, to wene.
Take heed to yourselves: if thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.
4 Ka otimoni richo nyadibiriyo odiechiengʼ achiel to obiro iri nyadibiriyo kendo owacho ni, ‘Alokora aweyo richo,’ to nyaka iwene.”
And if he trespass against thee seven times a day, and seven times in a day return to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.
5 Joote nowachone Ruoth niya, “Med yiewa!”
And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.
6 Nodwoko niya, “Ka un gi yie matin marom gi koth karadali, to unyalo wacho ne yadh ngʼowuni ni, ‘Pudhri ia mondo ipithri e nam,’ to dine owinjou motimo kamano.
And the Lord said, If ye had faith but as a grain of mustard-seed, ye might say to this sycamine-tree, Be thou rooted up and planted in the sea; and it would obey you.

But which of you having a servant plowing, or feeding cattle, will say to him, as soon as he comes in from the field, Come hither and sit down at table?
8 Donge dowachne mana ni, ‘Losna chiemba mar otieno, ikri mondo imiya acham kendo metho, eka bangʼe inyalo chiemo kendo metho’?
But will he not rather say to him, Get ready my supper, and gird thyself, and wait upon me, till I have done, and afterwards thou shalt eat and drink.
9 Bende onyalo goyone jatichneno erokamano nikech notimo gima nowachone notim?
Is he obliged to that servant for doing what he was ordered?
10 Omiyo un bende, ka usetimo gik moko duto mane onyisu mondo utim, onego uwach ni, ‘Wan mana jotich aticha ma ok owinjore to wasetimo mana tijwa.’”
I think not. So likewise ye, when ye have done all things that were commanded you, say we are unprofitable servants, for we have done only what we ought to do.
11 Koro e yo kane odhiyo Jerusalem, Yesu nowuotho e kind Samaria gi Galili.
And as He was going to Jerusalem, He passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee;
12 Ka noyudo odonjo e dala moro, ji apar man-gi dhoho noromo kode. Negichungo mabor
and as He entered into a certain village, there met Him ten men that were lepers:
13 kendo negiluongo gi dwol maduongʼ niya, “Yesu, Ruoth! Kechwa!”
who stood at a distance, and lifted up their voice, saying, Jesus master, have pity on us.
14 Ka nonenogi, nowacho niya, “Dhiuru, unyisru uwegi ni jodolo.” To kane gidhi, negipwodhore.
And when He saw them, He said unto them, Go and shew yourselves to the priests. And it came to pass as they were going, they were cleansed.
15 Achiel kuomgi, kane oneno ni osechange, nodok ir Yesu, kopako Nyasaye gi dwol maduongʼ.
And one of them, perceiving that he was healed, returned, with a loud voice glorifying God:
16 Nopodho auma e tiend Yesu kendo nogoyone erokamano, to ngʼatno ne en ja-Samaria.
and fell prostrate at his feet, giving Him thanks; and He was a Samaritan.
17 Yesu nopenjo niya, “Donge ji apar duto nopwodhi? Ere ji ochiko mamoko?
And Jesus answered and said, Were not all the ten cleansed? and where are the other nine?
18 Onge ngʼato madineyudre kuomgi monego duogi mondo omi Nyasaye pak, mana japiny moro nononi kende ema odwogo?”
Are there none returning to give glory to God, but this stranger?
19 Eka nowachone niya, “Chungi kendo idhi, yieni osemiyo ibedo mangima.”
And He said to him, Arise, go thy way; thy faith hath saved thee.
20 Chiengʼ moro, kane openje gi jo-Farisai kinde ma pinyruodh Nyasaye nobiye, Yesu nodwokogi niya, “Pinyruoth Nyasaye ok bi mana mineno gi wangʼ,
And being asked by the pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, He answered and said, the kingdom of God cometh not with observation.
21 kata ji ok nowach ni, ‘Eri go,’ kata ni, ‘Ee cha go cha,’ nikech pinyruodh Nyasaye ni eiu.”
Neither shall they say, Behold it is here, or behold it is there; for the kingdom of God is within you.
22 Eka nowachone jopuonjre niya, “Ndalo biro ma unugomb nenoe chiengʼ achiel kuom ndalo mag Wuod Dhano, to ok ununene.
And He said to the disciples, the time will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and shall not see it.
23 Ji biro wachonu ni, ‘En kucha!’ Kata ni, ‘En ka!’ Kik uring udhi bangʼ-gi.
And they will say to you, Behold, He is here, or behold He is there: but go not after them, nor follow them.
24 Nimar biro mar Wuod Dhano nobed machalo ka mil polo ma piatore e kor polo koa konchiel nyaka komachielo.
For as the lightning which lightneth from the one part of heaven shineth to the other: so also shall the Son of man be in his day.
25 To mokwongo nyaka one masiche mangʼeny, kendo tiengʼni nodage.
But He must suffer many things first, and be rejected by this generation.
26 “Mana kaka notimore e ndalo mag Nowa, e kaka biro bedo bende e ndalo mag Wuod Dhano.
And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
27 Ji ne chiemo kendo metho, chwo ne kendo bende nyiri ne ikendo nyaka nochopo odiechiengʼ mane Nowa odonjo e yie. Eka pi mar ataro nobiro motieko ji duto.
They were eating, drinking, marrying, and being married, till the day that Noah went into the ark: and the flood came and destroyed them all.
28 “Kamano e kaka ne chalre e ndalo mag Lut, ji ne chiemo, kendo metho, negingʼiewo kendo negiloko ohala, bende negipitho kendo gedo.
And as it was likewise in the days of Lot; they were eating, drinking, buying, selling, planting, and building:
29 To chiengʼ mane Lut oa Sodom, mach kod kite maliel mager nolwar koa e polo kendo notiekogi duto.
but the very day that Lot went out from Sodom, it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all.
30 “Kamano e kaka nobedi e ndalo ma Wuod Dhano nofwenyre.
Thus shall it be in the day that the Son of man is revealed.
31 Odiechiengʼno onge ngʼato manobedie ewi tat ot, man-gi gige ei ot, manolor mondo ogolgi. Machalre gi mano, onge ngʼato manie puodho manodog dala ne gimoro amora.
In that day, whoever shall be on the house-top, and his goods in the house, let him not come down into it to take them away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.
32 Paruru chi Lut!
Remember Lot's wife. Whosoever shall seek to save his life, shall lose it;
33 Ngʼatno matemo reso ngimane, ngimane biro lalne, to ngʼatno mowito ngimane, nores ngimane.
and whosoever will venture his life, shall preserve it.
34 Awachonu ni, otienono ji ariyo nobed e kitanda achiel: achiel nokaw to machielo nowe.
In that night there shall be two in one bed; the one shall be taken and the other left:
35 Mon ariyo noyudi karego cham kaachiel, achiel nokaw, to machielo nowe. [
two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken and the other left:
36 Chwo ariyo nobed e puodho, achiel ibiro kawo, to machielo nowe.]”
two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken and the other left.
37 Eka negipenje niya, “Mano notimre kanye, Ruoth?” Nodwokogi niya, “Kama ringruok motho nitie, ema achudhe chokore.”
And they answered and said unto Him, Where, Lord? And He said to them, where the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.
