< Johana 21 >

1 Bangʼ ka gigo nosetimore, Yesu nochako onenore kendo ni jopuonjrene e dho Nam Tiberia. To nenruokne kodgi nobet kama:
AFTER these things Jesus again shewed himself to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias; and he appeared in the following manner:
2 Simon Petro, Thoma (ma bende iluongo ni Didimas), Nathaniel mane aa Kana e piny Galili, yawuot Zebedi, kod jopuonjre mamoko ariyo, noyudo ochokore kanyakla.
Simon Peter, and Thomas called Didymus, the twin, and Nathaniel who was of Cana of Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two others of the disciples were together.
3 Simon Petro nowachonegi niya, “Adok lupo” kendo negiwachone niya, “Wan bende wadok kodi.” Omiyo negiwuok gidhi kendo negidonjo ei yie. To otienono duto onge gima negimako.
Simon Peter said to them, I am going a-fishing. They say to him, We too will go with thee. They went out, and got on board the vessel immediately; and that night they caught nothing.
4 Kinyne kogwen, Yesu nochungʼ e dho nam, to jopuonjre ne ok ongʼeye.
But when the morning was now come, Jesus stood upon the beach: yet the disciples had not discovered that it was Jesus.
5 Noluongogi niya, “Jowadwa, bende unie gi rech moro?” Negidwoke niya, “Ooyo.”
Then saith Jesus unto them, My youths, have ye any thing eatable? They answered him, No.
6 Nowachonegi niya, “Boluru gogo mau yo bat korachwich mar yie, to ubiro mako rech.” Kane gitimo kamano, ywayo gogo nyaka ei yie notamogi, nikech rech ne ngʼeny mohewogi ywayo.
Then he said to them, Shoot the net on the right side of the vessel, and ye shall find fish. They shot it therefore, and now they were not able to drag it in from the quantity of fishes.
7 Eka japuonjre ma Yesu nohero nowacho ni Petro niya, “En Ruoth!” Sa nogono ma Simon Petro nowinje kowacho niya, “En Ruoth,” notweyo lawe mar abola e nungone, nimar noyudo osegole oko mi nochikore ei pi.
Then said that disciple whom Jesus loved to Peter, It is the Lord! Then Simon Peter, when he heard that it was the Lord, girt his coat round him, (for he was stripped, ) and threw himself into the sea.
8 Jopuonjre mamoko to ne luwo bangʼe ka gin ei yie, kendo ka giywayo gogo ma rech opongʼo, nimar ne koro ok gin mabor gi dho nam, kendo nodongʼnegi mana fut mia ariyo gi piero ochiko gabich kende to gichop oko.
And the other disciples came in the little vessel, (for they were not far from land, only about two hundred cubits, ) dragging the net with the fishes.
9 Kane gigowo e dho nam, negineno mach maliel ka ni kanyo ka oket rech e wiye, kod makati moko.
When therefore they were come to land, they saw a fire laid, and a fish upon it, and a loaf.
10 Yesu nowachonegi niya, “Keluru rech moko kuom mago ma usemako.”
Jesus saith to them, Bring some of the fish which ye have just caught.
11 Simon Petro nodonjo ei pi, mi noywayo gogo nyaka dho wath. Nopongʼ gi rech madongo dongo ma dirom rech mia achiel gi piero abich gadek, to kata negingʼeny kamano, to gogo ne ok oyiech.
Simon Peter went aboard, and drew the net to land full of large fishes, to the number of a hundred and fifty-three: and though they were so many, yet was not the net rent.
12 Yesu nowachonegi niya, “Suduru machiegni uchiem.” Onge japuonjre kata achiel mane ohedhore penje niya, “In ngʼa?” Negingʼeyo ni en Ruoth.
Jesus saith to them, Come, dine. Now not one of the disciples dared inquire, Who art thou? conscious that it was the Lord.
13 Yesu nobiro mokawo makati omiyogi, kendo rech bende nomiyogi kamano.
Then Jesus cometh, and taketh the loaf, and distributed to them, and of the fish in like manner.
14 Mano ne en fwenyruok mar Yesu mar adek ni jopuonjrene bangʼ chier aa kuom joma otho.
Now this was the third time Jesus had shewed himself to the disciples, after he rose from the dead.
15 Kane gisetieko chiemo, Yesu nopenjo Simon Petro niya, “Simon wuod Johana, bende ihera adier moloyo jogi?” Nodwoke niya, “Ee, Ruoth, ingʼeyo ni aheri.” Yesu nowachone niya, “Kare pidh nyiromba.”
When therefore they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith to him, Yes, Lord! thou knowest that I love thee. He saith to him, Feed my lambs.
16 Nochako openje kendo mar ariyo niya, “Simon wuod Johana, bende ihera adier?” Nodwoke niya, “Ee, Ruoth, ingʼeyo ni aheri.” Yesu nowachone niya, “Kare rit romba.”
He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith to him, Yes, Lord! thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.
17 Nopenje mar adek niya, “Simon wuod Johana, bende ihera?” Petro nokuyo nikech Yesu nopenje mar adek niya, “Bende ihera?” Nodwoke niya, “Ruoth, in ingʼeyo gik moko duto; ingʼeyo ni aheri.” Yesu nowachone niya, “Kare pidh romba.
He saith to him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said to him, Lord, thou knowest all things, thou knowest that I love thee! Jesus saith to him, Feed my sheep.
18 Adier, adier awachoni, kane pod itin, to nirwakori kendi kendo ne inyalo dhi kamoro amora mihero; to kibiro doko moti, to ibiro rieyo bedeni ne ngʼama chielo ma biro rwakoni lepi mi teri kuma ok idwar dhiye.”
Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast a younger man, thou didst gird up thyself, and go about whithersoever thy choice led thee: but when thou shalt grow old, another person extending thy hands, shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not.
19 Yesu nowacho mano mondo onyisgo kit tho ma Petro ne biro miyogo Nyasaye duongʼ. Eka nowachone niya, “Luwa!”
This he told him, to intimate by what kind of death he should glorify God. And having thus spoken, he said to him, Follow me.
20 Petro nolokore moneno japuonjre mane Yesu ohero kaluwogi. (Ma e ngʼat mane otenore kuom Yesu kane gilworo mesa gichamo chiemb odhiambo, mi openje niya, “Ruoth, en ngʼa madwaro ndhogi?”)
Now Peter, turning about, saw the disciple whom Jesus loved following; who also at the supper reclined on his bosom, and said, Lord, which is the person who betrayeth thee?
21 Kane Petro onene, nopenjo niya, “Ruoth, to en to?”
Peter looking at him, saith to Jesus, Lord, and what will become of this man?
22 Yesu nodwoke niya, “Ka adwaro ni osik kongima nyaka aduogi, to mano chandi nangʼo? In to luwa!”
Jesus saith to him, If I will that he abide till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me.
23 Dwoko mane Yesu odwokono nomiyo wachno olandore e kind jowete ni japuonjreno ok bi tho ngangʼ, to Yesu to nowacho mana niya, “Ka adwaro ni osik kongima nyaka aduogi, to mano chandi nangʼo?”
Then this speech went forth among the disciples, as though this disciple was not to die: yet Jesus had not said to him, That he shall not die; but, If I will that he abide till I come, what is that to thee?
24 Ma e japuonjre makoro timo neno kuom gigi kendo en bende ema nondikogi piny. Wangʼeyo ni nende en adier.
This is the disciple who is testifing of these things, and hath written these things: and we know that his testimony is true.
25 Yesu notimo gik mangʼeny mamoko. Ka dine ndikgi duto moro ka moro kuomgi, to an gi ratiro ni kata mana piny ngima ok doromo kano kitepe duto ma dine ondiki.
And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if every particular was written, I am of opinion that the world itself would not be capable of retaining the books which should be written. Amen.
