< Johana 20 >
1 To odiechiengʼ mokwongo mar juma, kogwen, kane piny pod olil, Maria ma aa Magdala nodhi e liel, mi noneno ka kidi osengʼiel oko e dho lielno.
AND on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalen came very early, whilst yet some darkness remained, to the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre.
2 Omiyo noringo modhi ir Simon Petro kod japuonjre machielo mane Yesu ohero, kendo nowachonegi niya, “Gisekawo ringre Ruoth gigolo e liel kama noyike, kendo koro wakia kama giketee!”
She therefore runneth, and cometh to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and saith to them, They have taken away the Lord out of the sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid him.
3 Kuom mano, Petro gi japuonjre machielono nowuok modhi kama noyike.
Then Peter went out, and that other disciple, and came to the sepulchre.
4 Negiringo giduto, to japuonjre machielono noyombo Petro, mi nokuongone chopo e liel.
And they two ran together: and the other disciple ran before more swiftly than Peter, and came first to the sepulchre.
5 Nokulore mongʼicho, kendo noneno lewni mayom molir olir kod law ik ma nonalgo wi Yesu kani ei bur kanyo. To kata kamano, ne ok odonjo e iye.
And stooping forward, he sees the swathing clothes lying there; yet he did not go in.
6 Eka Simon Petro, mane ringo bangʼe bende notundo. En to nodonjo nyaka ei bur ik, mi noneno lewni mayom molir olir ka ni kanyo,
Then cometh Simon Peter following him, and went into the sepulchre, and saw the swathing clothes lying,
7 kaachiel gi law ik mane onalgo wi Yesu. Nangano noban maber, kendo ne en kar kende, mopogore gi kama lewni mayom molir olir ne nitie.
and the napkin, which had been round his head, not laid with the linen swathes, but apart folded up in another place.
8 Mogik, japuonjre machielo, mane okwongo chopo e bur yikno, bende nodonjo ei bur mi noneno kendo noyie.
Then went in also the other disciple, who had come the first to the sepulchre, and saw, and believed.
9 (Nyaka ae thuolono ne pok gingʼeyo, koa e Ndiko, ni nochuno ni Yesu nyaka ne chier mi aa kuom joma otho.)
Though not even yet had they known the scripture, that he should rise from the dead.
10 Eka jopuonjre nodok e miechgi.
Then the disciples went back again to their companions.
11 Maria nochungʼ oko e dho bur kaywak. Kane oyudo oywak, nokulore mongʼiyo i bur,
But Mary stood at the sepulchre, without, weeping: as therefore she wept, she bent forward towards the sepulchre.
12 kendo noneno malaike ariyo morwako lewni marochere, kobet piny kama ringre Yesu nopielie, ka moro ni yo ka wiye, to machielo ni yo ka tiende.
And saw two angels in white, sitting, the one at the head, and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain.
13 Negipenje niya, “Nyarwa, iywago angʼo?” Nowachonegi niya, “Gisekawo Ruodha gidhigo, to akia kama giketee.”
And they say unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? She saith to them, Because they have taken away my Lord, and I know not where they have laid him.
14 Bangʼ wacho kamano, nolokore ongʼiyo ngʼeye, kendo noneno Yesu kochungʼ kanyo, to ne ok ongʼeyo ni en Yesu.
And as she thus spoke, she turned about, and beheld Jesus standing by, and knew not that it was Jesus.
15 Yesu nopenje niya, “Nyarwa, iywago angʼo? En ngʼa mimanyo?” En to noparo ni mano jarit puodho ema wuoyo kode, omiyo nopenje niya, “Jaduongʼ, ka dipo ni in ema ne ikawe idhi kode, to nyisa kama iseketee, mondo adhi akawe.”
Then Jesus said to her, Woman, why art thou weeping? whom art thou seeking? She, supposing that it was the gardener, said to him, Sir, if thou hast carried him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away.
16 Yesu noluonge niya, “Maria!” Nolokore mi ongʼiye koluonge matek gi dho jo-Hibrania niya, “Raboni!” (tiende ni “Japuonj”).
Jesus saith to her, Mary! Starting round, she said to him, Rabboni! that is, Master!
17 Yesu nowachone niya, “Kik itweri kuoma, nimar pok adok ka Wuora, to dhi ir owetena mondo inyisgi ni, ‘Adok ir Wuora ma en Wuoru un bende, kendo Nyasacha ma en Nyasachu.’”
Jesus saith to her, Touch me not; for I have not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and tell them, I am ascending to my Father, and your Father; to my God, and your God.
18 Maria nyar Magdala nodhi ir jopuonjre monyisogi Injili niya, “Aseneno Ruoth!” Kendo Ruoth ema osenyisa weche ma awachonugi.
Mary Magdalen cometh declaring to the disciples, that she had seen the Lord, and that he had spoken these things to her.
19 Godhiambo mar odiechiengʼ mokwongo mar juma, jopuonjre nochokore kanyakla, kendo ne giloro dhoudi nikech negiluoro jo-Yahudi, Yesu nobiro mochungʼ e diergi kendo nowachonegi niya, “Kwe obed kodu!”
When the evening therefore was come, on the same first day of the week, and the doors being fastened where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said unto them, Peace be to you.
20 Bangʼ kane osewacho ma, nonyisogi lwetene gi ngʼetne. Jopuonjre ne mor mokalo kane gineno Ruoth.
And thus speaking, he shewed them his hands and his side. Then were the disciples glad when they saw the Lord.
21 Yesu nochako owachonegi kendo niya, “Beduru gi kwe! Mana kaka Wuora oseora e kaka an bende aorou.”
Jesus therefore spake to them again, Peace be unto you: as the Father hath sent me, even so send I you.
22 Bangʼ wachonegi wechego, nokudho muche kuomgi, kowachonegi niya, “Nwangʼuru Roho Maler.
And so speaking, he breathed on them, and said, Receive the Holy Ghost:
23 Ngʼato angʼata muweyone richone nowenegi, to ka ok uweyonegi, to ok nowenegi.”
whose soever sins ye forgive, they are forgiven them; and whose sins soever ye retain, they are retained.
24 Thoma (ma bende iluongo ni Didimas), ma en achiel kuom jopuonjre apar gariyo, ne ok ni kodgi e kinde mane Yesu ofwenyorenigi.
Now Thomas, one of the twelve, who is called Didymus, the twin, was not with them when Jesus came.
25 Omiyo jopuonjre mamoko nokone niya, “Waseneno Ruoth!” To nowachonegi niya, “An to ka ok aneno lwete kuonde mane musmal ochwowo, mi aketo lith lweta kuondego, kendo asoyo lweta e ngʼetne, to ok abi yie wachno.”
Then the other disciples said to him, We have seen the Lord. But he said to them, Except I should see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I shall never believe it.
26 Bangʼ juma achiel, jopuonjre ne ni ei ot kendo, to chiengʼno Thoma ne ni kodgi. Kata obedo ni dhoudi nolor, Yesu nobiro mochungʼ e diergi momosogi niya, “Okweuru!”
And eight days after, his disciples were again within, and Thomas with them: Jesus cometh, though the doors were fastened, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.
27 Eka nowachone Thoma niya, “Ket lith lweti kae kendo nee lwetena. Chor lweti kuoma bangʼe iketi e ngʼetna. We bedo ngʼama riwo gi kiawa, bed ngʼama nigi yie!”
Afterwards he spake to Thomas, Bring hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and take thy hand, and thrust into my side: and be not incredulous, but a believer.
28 Thoma nodwoke niya, “Ruodha kendo Nyasacha!”
And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God!
29 Eka Yesu nowachone niya, “In iyie nikech isenena, to ogwedh joma pok onena, to oseyie.”
Jesus saith to him, Because thou hast seen me, Thomas, hast thou believed: blessed are they who though they have not seen me, yet have believed.
30 Yesu notimo ranyisi gi honni mamoko mangʼeny, ka jopuonjrene neno, ma ok ondiki e kitabuni.
Now many other miracles did Jesus therefore also in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book:
31 To magi ondiki mondo uyie ni Yesu e Kristo ma Wuod Nyasaye, kendo mondo ka uyie kamano, to ubed gi ngima e nyinge.
but these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.
