< Ayub 8 >

1 Eka Bildad ja-Shua nodwoko kama:
Then responded Bildad the Shuhite, and said: —
2 “Ibiro dhi nyime kiwacho gik ma kamago nyaka karangʼo? Wecheni chalo mana ka yamo makudho matek.
How long wilt thou speak these things? Or, as a mighty wind, shall be the sayings of thy mouth?
3 Bende Nyasaye nyalo ngʼado bura ma ok nikare? Bende Jehova Nyasaye Maratego nyalo weyo timo gima kare?
Should, GOD, pervert justice? Or, the Almighty, pervert righteousness?
4 Kane nyithindi otimo richo e nyime, noweyogi mondo giyud kum mowinjore gi richogi.
Though, thy children, sinned against him, and he delivered them into the hand of their transgression,
5 To ka inyalo dok ir Nyasaye mi iket kwayoni ne Jehova Nyasaye Maratego,
Yet, if, thou thyself, wilt diligently seek unto GOD, —and, unto the Almighty, wilt make supplication;
6 kata ka dine in ngʼama ler kendo ngimani oriere tir, to dine oani malo mokonyi, kendo dine oduogi kari mowinjore kodi.
If, pure and upright, thou thyself, art, surely, now, will he answer thy prayer, and will prosper thy righteous habitation:
7 Kata obedo ni chakruok mari ne rachrach, ndaloni mabiro nyime biro bedo malich miwuoro.
So shall thy beginning appear small, —when, thy latter end, he shall greatly increase!
8 “Penj ane tiengʼ mosekalo mondo ingʼe gik mane kweregi opuonjore,
For inquire, I pray thee, of a former generation, and prepare thyself for the research of their fathers; —
9 nikech wan to nyoro eka nonywolwa, kendo ok wangʼeyo gimoro, kendo ndalowa e pinyni chalo tipo.
For, of yesterday, are, we, and cannot know, for, a shadow, are our days upon earth:
10 We ipuonjri rieko kuom joma chon mondo iyud rieko kod ngʼeyo mane gin-go?
Shall, they, not teach thee—tell thee, and, out of their memory, bring forth words?
11 Bende togo nyalo dongo marabora kama thidhna ongee? Koso odundu bende nyalo dongo maber kama pi onge?
Can the paper-reed grow up, without a marsh? Or the rush grow up, without water?
12 Kapod gidongo maber kendo pod ok ongʼolgi oko, to gitwo piyo moloyo lum.
Though while still, in its freshness, it be not plucked off, yet, before any kind of grass, it doth wither:
13 Mano e gima timore ne joma oweyo Nyasaye; kamano e kaka geno mar joma okia Nyasaye rumo.
So, shall be the latter end of all who forget GOD, and, the hope of the impious, shall perish:
14 Gima ogeno kuome en gima nono; kendo gima oyiengoree chalo mbui mar otiengʼ-otiengʼ.
Whose trust shall be contemptible, —and, a spider’s web, his confidence:
15 Koro ka giyiengore e mbuyi, to mbuyi dikonygi adier, ma ok oyiech? Koso ka gimako usi, to usi diresgi ma ok ochot.
He leaneth upon his house, and it will not stand, he holdeth it fast, and it will not remain erect.
16 Ochalo gi yien motwi kama otimo pi to chiengʼ goyo ma bedene yarore piyo piyo e puodho;
Full of moisture he is, before the sun, and, over his garden, his shoot goeth forth:
17 tiendene olawore e lwendni, kendo kere e dier kama otimo kite.
Over a heap, his roots are entwined, a place of stones, he descrieth;
18 To ka opudhe oko kama otweyeno, to kanyo kwede kawacho ni, ‘An ne ok aneni!’
If one destroy him out of his place, then will it disown him [saying] —I have not seen thee.
19 Ngimane ner mi rum adier, kendo yiende mamoko ema twi e lowo mane entiereno.
Lo! that, is the joy of his way, —and, out of the dust, shall others spring up.
20 “Adier, Nyasaye ok kwed ngʼama onge ketho, bende ok ochwak joma timbegi richo.
Lo! GOD, will not reject a blameless man, neither will he grasp the hand of evil-doers:
21 Obiro miyo ichako inyiero kendo ibiro bedo mamor.
At length he shall fill with laughter thy mouth, and thy lips, with a shout of triumph:
22 Wasiki biro rwako wichkuot ka law, kendo miech joma timbegi richo ok nochak one kendo.”
They who hate thee, shall be clothed with shame, but, the tent of the lawless, shall not be!
