Ayub 3
1 Bangʼ mano, Ayub nowuoyo ka kwongʼo chiengʼ mane onywole.
After thus he opened Job mouth his and he cursed day his.
2 Ayub nowacho kama:
And he answered Job and he said.
3 “Mad chiengʼ mane onywolaeni lal nono, kaachiel gi otieno mane owachie ni, ‘Onywol nyathi ma wuowi!’
Let it perish [the] day [which] I was born on it and the night [which] it said he has been conceived a man.
4 Odiechiengno mad lokre mudho; mad Nyasaye man malo kik dewe; mad ler moro amora kik rieny kuome.
The day that let it be darkness may not he care for it God above and may not it shine forth on it daylight.
5 Mad odiechiengno otim luoch kendo mudho mandiwa oime; boche polo mondo oume; kendo wangʼ chiengʼ otim mudho.
Let them reclaim it darkness and deep darkness let it settle down over it cloud let them terrify it [the] darkness of day.
6 Otienono, mad olal e mudho mandiwa; kik obed kaka achiel kuom odiechienge mag higa, kendo kik kwane kaka achiel kuom odiechienge mag dwe.
The night that let it take it darkness may not it rejoice among [the] days of [the] year in [the] number of [the] months may not it come.
7 Mad otienono bed migumba; mad kik winj koko moro amora mar mor e iye.
There! the night that let it be barren may not it come a cry of joy in it.
8 Mad joma kwongʼo odiechienge okwongʼ odiechiengno, ma gin jogo molony gi luongo le manie nam miluongo ni Leviathan mawuogi.
Let them curse it cursers of a day the [ones] ready to rouse Leviathan.
9 Mad sulwege mokinyi lokre mudho; mad piny mogeno ni biro ru tamre, kendo kik one ka ugwe chako wangʼ,
Let them grow dark [the] stars of twilight its let it wait for light and not and may not it look on [the] eyelids of dawn.
10 nikech ne ok oloro dhoudi mag ii minwa mondo ne kik nywola kendo ane chandruok makoro anenogi.
For not it shut [the] doors of womb my and it hid trouble from eyes my.
11 “Dine atho ei minwa, kata dine obwoga ka inywola?
Why? not from [the] womb did I die from [the] belly I came forth and I may expire?
12 Angʼo momiyo minwa nopira e chonge kendo adhodho thunde?
Why? did they receive me knees and why? breasts that I will suckle.
13 Nimar dikoro ayweyo gi kwe; kendo dikoro anindo kendo ayweyo,
For now I lay down and I may be at peace I slept then - it is at rest to me.
14 gi ruodhi kaachiel gi jongʼad rieko mag piny, mane ogero kuondegi madongo mag dak matinde olokore gundni,
With kings and counselors of [the] earth the [ones who] rebuilt ruins for themselves.
15 kaachiel gi joloch mane nigi dhahabu, kendo mane opongʼo utegi gi fedha.
Or with princes [whom] gold [belonged] to them those [who] filled houses their silver.
16 Koso angʼo mane omono panda ei liel ka nyathi monywol kosetho, kata ka nyathi mayom mane ok oneno ler mar odiechiengʼ?
Or like a miscarriage hidden not was I? like children [who] not they have seen light.
17 Kuno joma timbegi richo weyoe timbegigo, kendo kuno joma ool yudoe yweyo.
There wicked [people] they cease turmoil and there they rest weary [ones] of strength.
18 Joma ni e twech kuno bende winjo maber; nikech gionge gi nyapara ma chikogi kuno.
Together prisoners they are at ease not they hear [the] voice of a taskmaster.
19 Jomatindo gi jomadongo ni kuno kata wasumbini bende bedo maonge e bwo chik.
Small and great [is] there he and a slave [is] free from master his.
20 “Angʼo momiyo ichiwo ngima ne joma winjo malit, kod ngima ne joma chunygi lit,
Why? does someone give to a sufferer light and life to [people] bitter of soul.
21 gigombo tho, to tho ok neg-gi, adier, gidwaro tho moloyo mwandu mopandi,
Those [who] long for death and there not [is] it and they dug for it more than hidden treasures.
22 gin joma opongʼ gi mor kendo gibedo moil ka gitundo ei liel?
The joyful [people] to rejoicing they exult if they find [the] grave.
23 Angʼo momiyo owe ngʼato ka ngima to yorene odinore, ka ngʼatno Nyasaye ogengʼone koni gi koni?
To a man whom way his it is hidden and he has made inaccessible God behind him.
24 Nikech kuyo kod ywak omona chiemo; kendo chur ma achurgo chalo gi oula mabubni.
If before food my groaning my it comes and they poured forth like water cries of distress my.
25 Gima ne aluoro ema koro osemaka; gima ne aluoro mogik e ngimana ema koro osetimorena.
For a fear I feared and it came to me and [that] which I dreaded it came to me.
26 Aonge gi kwe, chunya chandore; aonge yweyo, kendo thagruok lilo ema aneno.”
Not I am at ease - and not I am at peace and not I am at rest and it has come turmoil.
