< Ayub 27 >
1 Ayub nochako wuoyo kendo mowacho niya,
And Job adds to lift up his allegory and says:
2 “Akwongʼora gi nying Jehova Nyasaye Maratego mosetamore ngʼadona bura makare, kendo mosemiyo chunya obedo malit,
“God lives! He turned aside my judgment, And the Mighty—He made my soul bitter.
3 bende asingora ni kapod angima kendo kapod Nyasaye omiya muya ma ayweyo,
For all the while my breath [is] in me, And the wind of God in my nostrils.
4 to dhoga ok nowach gimoro marach, kendo lewa ok nowach miriambo.
My lips do not speak perverseness, And my tongue does not utter deceit.
5 Ok abi yie ngangʼ ni un kare; ok anasiki mana ka awacho ni aonge ketho nyaka atho.
Defilement to me—if I justify you, Until I expire I do not turn aside my integrity from me.
6 Abiro siko mana ka awacho ni an kare ndalona duto; kendo pacha ler e wachni e ndalo duto.
On my righteousness I have laid hold, And I do not let it go, My heart does not reproach me while I live.
7 “Mad wasika duto mapiem koda, yud kum mana ka joricho!
My enemy is as the wicked, And my withstander as the perverse.
8 Koso geno mane ma ngʼama ok ongʼeyo Nyasaye dibedgo ka ongʼad ndalone, kendo ka Nyasaye okawo ngimane?
For what [is] the hope of the profane, When He cuts off? When God casts off his soul?
9 Bende Nyasaye chiko ite ne ywakne ka masira obirone?
[Does] God hear his cry, When distress comes on him?
10 Bende onyalo bedo gi mor kuom Jehova Nyasaye Maratego? Bende doywagne Nyasaye seche duto?
Does he delight himself on the Mighty? Call God at all times?
11 “Abiro puonji kaka teko Nyasaye chalo; ok abi pandoni yore mag Jehova Nyasaye Maratego.
I show you by the hand of God, That which [is] with the Mighty I do not hide.
12 Un duto ngʼato ka ngʼato useneno ma gi wangʼu koro weche manonogi to uwacho nangʼo?
Behold, you—all of you—have seen, And why [is] this—you are altogether vain?
13 “Chandruok ma Nyasaye ochano ne ngʼama timo timbe mahundu, kendo girkeni mar ngʼama timo timbe marichogo yudo koa kuom Jehova Nyasaye Maratego ema:
This [is] the portion of wicked man with God, And the inheritance of terrible ones They receive from the Mighty.
14 Kata ne bed ni nyithinde ngʼeny manade, to ligangla ema ochomogi; kendo nyithinde ok noyud chiemo moromogi nyaka chiengʼ.
If his sons multiply—a sword [is] for them. And his offspring [are] not satisfied [with] bread.
15 Tuo noneg joma otony e lweny, kendo mon ma chwogi otho ma giweyo ok noywag-gi.
His remnant are buried in death, And his widows do not weep.
16 Kata jaricho chok fedha mangʼeny manade, kod lewni bende mangʼeny,
If he heaps up silver as dust, And prepares clothing as clay,
17 to gik mochokogo joma kare ema biro rwako, kendo joma onge ketho nopogre mwanduge mag fedha.
He prepares—and the righteous puts [it] on, And the innocent apportions the silver.
18 Ot mogero yomyom ka mbuyi mar otiengʼ, kata ka abila ma jarito ogero.
He has built his house as a moth, And as a shelter a watchman has made.
19 Onindo ka en gi mwandu, to ochiewo gi lwete nono; ka wangʼe yawore nii to mwandune duto oserumo.
He lies down rich, and he is not gathered, He has opened his eyes, and he is not.
20 Masiche nomakgi ka ohula motuch apoya; kendo yamb otieno nokegi mabor.
Terrors overtake him as waters, By night a whirlwind has stolen him away.
21 Yamb ugwe tingʼe midhi kode, mi olal nono; oywere mi ogole kare.
An east wind takes him up, and he goes, And it frightens him from his place,
22 Enogo kuomgi koko matek ma ok oweyonigi thuolo, kolawogi matek gi tekone maduongʼ.
And it casts at him, and does not spare, He diligently flees from its hand.
23 Yamo nokudh kuomgi ka giringo kendo tekone malich nomi kihondko makgi.”
It claps its hands at him, And it hisses at him from his place.”
