< Isaya 56 >

1 Ma e gima Jehova Nyasaye wacho: “Ngʼaduru bura makare kendo utim gima kare, nikech warruokna osekayo machiegni kendo timna makare chiegni fwenyore.
The LORD says: “Maintain justice and do what is right, for my salvation is near and my righteousness will soon be revealed.
2 Ogwedh ngʼat matimo ma, mangʼado bura makare kendo ngʼatno marito chiengʼ Sabato ka ok odwanye, kendo ok oyie lwete mulo gik mogak.”
Blessed is the man who does this, and the son of man who holds it fast; who keeps the Sabbath without profaning it and keeps his hand from doing any evil.”
3 Kik ngʼat ma japiny moro moseyie kuom Jehova Nyasaye wachi ni, “Jehova Nyasaye biro kweda e kind ogandane adier.” Kendo ngʼato angʼata mabwoch kik wachi ni, “An mana ka yien motwo.”
Let no foreigner who has joined himself to the LORD speak, saying, “The LORD will surely separate me from his people.” Do not let the eunuch say, “Behold, I am a dry tree.”
4 Nimar ma e gima Jehova Nyasaye wacho: “Joma bwoch, morito Sabato mara, mayiero timo gima miya mor, kendo morito singruokna,
For the LORD says, “To the eunuchs who keep my Sabbaths, choose the things that please me, and hold fast to my covenant,
5 ei hekalu mara, anami nying-gi bedo rapar moloyo bedo gi yawuowi kod nyiri; bende anamigi nying ma ok norum nyaka chiengʼ.
I will give them in my house and within my walls a memorial and a name better than of sons and of daughters. I will give them an everlasting name that will not be cut off.
6 Kendo jopinje mamoko mane oseyie kuom Jehova Nyasaye katiyone kohero nyinge, kendo kalame, jogo duto marito chiengʼ Sabato ma ok odwanye kendo morito singruokna,
Also the foreigners who join themselves to the LORD to serve him, and to love the LORD’s name, to be his servants, everyone who keeps the Sabbath from profaning it, and holds fast my covenant,
7 gin duto anakelgi e goda maler mi anamigi mor e oda mar lamo. Chiwo mag-gi mag misengini miwangʼo pep kod misengini mamoko nayiego e kendona mar misango; kendo oda noluongi ni od lamo mar ogendini duto.”
I will bring these to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be accepted on my altar; for my house will be called a house of prayer for all peoples.”
8 Jehova Nyasaye Manyalo Gik Moko Duto ma en Jal ma choko jo-Israel duto, mane oter e twech wacho niya, “Pod abiro choko jomoko makel irgi, kaweyo mago mosechoki.”
The Lord GOD, who gathers the outcasts of Israel, says, “I will yet gather others to him, in addition to his own who are gathered.”
9 Biuru un le manie thim, biuru mondo utiek gik moko un le mag bungu duto!
All you animals of the field, come to devour, all you animals in the forest.
10 Jorito mag Israel muofni, giduto gionge rieko; gichalo mana gi guogi mamuol, ma ok nyal giyo; kendo riere piny mi lek, nikech gihero nindo.
His watchmen are blind. They are all without knowledge. They are all mute dogs. They cannot bark— dreaming, lying down, loving to slumber.
11 Gin guogi ma dhogi mit kendo ok giyiengʼ. Gin jokwath maonge winjo; giduto gibaro ka giluwo yoregi giwegi, kendo moro ka moro dwaro gima kelone ohala ne en owuon.
Yes, the dogs are greedy. They can never have enough. They are shepherds who cannot understand. They have all turned to their own way, each one to his gain, from every quarter.
12 Giwacho e kindgi giwegi ni, “Biuru mondo wakaw divai! Wamadhuru kongʼo mi wamer! Kendo kiny nochal mana gi kawuono, to bende onyalo bedo maber moloyo.”
“Come,” they say, “I will get wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and tomorrow will be as today, great beyond measure.”
