< Isaya 54 >

1 Jehova Nyasaye owacho niya, “Wer, yaye in dhako ma migumba, in ma ok inywol nyithindo; wer matek, ka igoyo koko gi ilo, in mane muoch ok okayi; nimar dhako ma migumba nobed gi nyithindo, mangʼeny moloyo dhako man-gi dichwo.
Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear, break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail; for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the LORD.
2 Ket kar hembi obed maduongʼ, yar ragengʼ mar hembi obed malach, kendo kik idog chien; tud tondene obed maboyo bende igur loyene motegno.
Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thy habitations, spare not; lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes.
3 Nimar ibiro medori malach kichomo bat korachwich kendo kidhi bat koracham; ogandani noma ogendini pinjegi mi dagie e mier madongo makoro owe gundini.
For thou shalt spread abroad on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall possess the nations, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.
4 “Kik ibed maluor; nikech ok iniyud wichkuot. Kik ibed gi luoro mar yudo wichkuot; nikech ok nojari. Wiyi nowil gi wichkuot mane iyudo ka in nyako, kendo ok inichak ipar chandruok mane ineno kane ibedo dhako ma chwore otho.
Fear not, for thou shalt not be ashamed. Neither be thou confounded, for thou shalt not be put to shame; for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and the reproach of thy widowhood shalt thou remember no more.
5 Nimar Jachwechni e chwori, Jehova Nyasaye Maratego e nyinge midendego, Jal Maler mar Israel e Jaresni; iluonge ni Nyasach piny ngima.
For thy Maker is thy husband, the LORD of hosts is His name; and the Holy One of Israel is thy Redeemer, the God of the whole earth shall He be called.
6 Jehova Nyasaye nodwogi ire, mana ka dhako manoyudo osejwangʼ, kendo ma chunye nigi lit ahinya, en dhako mane okend ka nyako ngili kae to bangʼe ojwangʼ,” Nyasachi ema owacho mano.
For the LORD hath called thee as a wife forsaken and grieved in spirit; and a wife of youth, can she be rejected? saith thy God.
7 “Kuom kinde manok asejwangʼi, to koro abiro duogi ira gi kech mangʼeny.
For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great compassion will I gather thee.
8 E kinde mane an gi mirima mangʼeny ne apandoni wangʼa kuom ndalo manok, to koro gi ngʼwono mochwere an-gi kech kuomi,” Jehova Nyasaye ma Jaresni ema owacho.
In a little wrath I hid My face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have compassion on thee, saith the LORD thy Redeemer.
9 “Kuoma to ma chalona mana gi ndalo mag Nowa kane akwongʼora ni pi mane oimo piny ok nochak obedie kendo. Omiyo koro asekwongʼora ni mirima ok nochak omaka kodu kendo, bende ok anachak adhawnu.
For this is as the waters of Noah unto Me; for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth, so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee.
10 Kata ka gode biro yiengni, kendo gode matindo ibiro muki, to herana kuomu mosiko ok noyiengi, bende singruokna mar kwe ok nogol,” Jehova Nyasaye man-gi kech kuomu owacho.
For the mountains may depart, and the hills be removed; but My kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall My covenant of peace be removed, saith the LORD that hath compassion on thee.
11 “Yaye dala maduongʼ misando, ma ahiti oyiecho maonge ngʼama hoyo, abiro geri gi kite motegno, kendo miseni anager gi gik mabeyo.
O thou afflicted, tossed with tempest, and not comforted, behold, I will set thy stones in fair colours, and lay thy foundations with sapphires.
12 Anager kuondeni mag gige lweny gi rubi, dhorangeyeni to naketie kite ma nengogi tek, kendo ohingani naketie kite mabeyo.
And I will make thy pinnacles of rubies, and thy gates of carbuncles, and all thy border of precious stones.
13 Nyithindi duto nopuonj gi Jehova Nyasaye kendo ginibed gi kwe maduongʼ.
And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of thy children.
14 Ibiro geri e tim makare: Ok nichak ine tij achuna; kendo onge gima iniluor. Bwok maduongʼ ibiro ter mabor kode; kendo ok ginisud machiegni kodi.
In righteousness shalt thou be established; be thou far from oppression, for thou shalt not fear, and from ruin, for it shall not come near thee.
15 Kapo ni ngʼato omonji, to ok nobed ni an ema aore; to ngʼato angʼata momonji nochiwre e lweti.
Behold, they may gather together, but not by Me; whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall because of thee.
16 “To ne, an ema ne achweyo jatheth mula, machwako chuma e mach, kendo loso gige lweny makare ne tijno. An ema asechweyo jaketh mabiro kelonegi chandruok;
Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the fire of coals, and bringeth forth a weapon for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.
17 onge gige lweny molosi ne in mano hinyi, kendo inilo buche duto modonjnie. Ma e pok ma jotich Jehova Nyasaye yudo, kendo ma bende e gweth ma asemiyou,” Jehova Nyasaye owacho.
No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their due reward from Me, saith the LORD.
