< Isaya 52 >

1 Aa malo, Aa malo, yaye Sayun, jiw badi motegno! Rwak lepi mabeyo, yaye Jerusalem dala maduongʼ maler. Nimar joma ok oter nyangu kendo mogak, ok nochak odonji e Jerusalem kendo.
Awake, awake, Put on thy strength, O Zion, —Put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem—thou holy city, For there shall not again come into thee any more the uncircumcised and unclean.
2 Tengʼ buru momaki oko; aa malo kendo ibed piny e kom duongʼ, yaye Jerusalem. Gony nyoroche motwe ngʼuti, yaye in Nyar Sayun manie twech.
Shake thyself from the dust arise—sit down O Jerusalem, —Loose thyself from the bonds of thy neck, O captive! daughter of Zion!
3 Nimar ma e gima Jehova Nyasaye wacho: “Nongʼiewi maonge chudo moro, omiyo ibiro wari ma ok ochulie pesa.”
For, thus, saith Yahweh, For nought, ye sold yourselves, —And not with silver, shall ye be redeemed,
4 Ma e gima Jehova Nyasaye Manyalo Gik Moko Duto wacho: “Mokwongo joga nodhi Misri mondo odagie, bangʼe jo-Asuria nosandogi.
For, thus, saith My Lord, Yahweh, To Egypt, went down my people at first to sojourn there, —But, Assyria, without cause, hath oppressed him.
5 “To koro en angʼo manenoni? “Joga okaw nono maonge gima ochul kendo joma tiyogi koro goyonegi siboi,” Jehova Nyasaye owacho. “Kendo kinde duto giyanyo nyinga.
Now, therefore, what do I here? Demandeth Yahweh. That my people have been taken away for nought? They who rule them, do howl, Declareth Yahweh, And, continually—all the day, is my Name brought into contempt.
6 Kuom mano joga biro ngʼeyo nyinga; kendo odiechiengno giningʼe maber ni an, ema ne asewacho wechegi chon. Adier, en An.”
Therefore, shall my people acknowledge my Name: Therefore, in that day, shall they acknowledge that, I, am the same, even I who am speaking, —Here, I am,
7 Mano kaka en gima ber neno tiend joote maringo ewi gode kakelo wach maber, mar kwe, mar resruok, kod mar warruok kagiwachone Sayun niya, “Nyasachu olocho!”
How beautiful, upon the mountains are the feet—Of him That bringeth good tidings, That publisheth peace, That bringeth good tidings of blessing, That publisheth salvation, —That saith unto Zion, Thy God, hath become king.
8 Winjuru! Jorito mau mondo okog matek; giduto gikok nikech gimor. Ka Jehova Nyasaye noduog Sayun, to ginine lochne ayanga.
The voice of thy watchmen! They have uplifted a voice Together, do they renew the shout of triumph, —For eye to eye, shall they see, When Yahweh returneth to Zion.
9 Weruru matek gimor un duto, un kuonde mokethore mag Jerusalem, nimar Jehova Nyasaye osehoyo chuny joge, osereso Jerusalem.
Break forth, shout in triumph together, ye waste places of Jerusalem, —For Yahweh Hath comforted his people, Hath redeemed Jerusalem:
10 Jehova Nyasaye biro rieyo bade maler ka ogendini duto neno, kendo tungʼ piny ka piny none warruok mar Nyasachwa.
Yahweh hath bared his holy arm, in the eyes of all the nations, So shall all the ends of the earth see the salvation of our God.
11 Wuoguru, wuoguru, auru kanyo! Kik umul gima ochido! Wuoguru kuome mondo ubed maler, un mutingʼo gik ler mar Jehova Nyasaye.
Away! away! come, forth from thence!—Nought unclean, may ye touch, —Come forth out of her midst, Purify yourselves, ye who are to carry the vessels of Yahweh;
12 To ok unuwuogi kurikni kata ka uringo; nimar Jehova Nyasaye notel nyimu, ee Nyasach Israel bende nodongʼnu chien.
For, not in haste, shall ye come forth, Nor, by flight, shall ye journey, —For, your van-guard, is Yahweh, And, your rear-guard, the God of Israel.
13 Ne, jatichna biro tiyo gi rieko; enotingʼe malo moloyo kimiye duongʼ mangʼongo.
Lo! my Servant, prospereth, —He riseth, and is lifted up, and becometh very high:
14 Mana kaka ji mangʼeny nobwok konene, kite ne olokore makoro ne ok ochal ka dhano, kendo kite nokethore mopogore gi kit dhano,
The more that Many, were amazed at thee, So marred, beyond any man’s, was his appearance, —And his form, beyond the sons of men,
15 omiyo ogendini mangʼeny nobwogi kendo ruodhi nolingʼ thi nikech en. Nimar gik mane ok owachnegi, gibiro neno, kendo gik mapok giwinjo, nodonjnegi.
The more doth he startle Many nations, Before him, have kings closed their mouth, —For, that which had not been related to them, have they seen, And that which they had not heard, haw they diligently considered.
