< Isaya 19 >

1 Ma e wach mane okor kuom Misri: To neuru, Jehova Nyasaye biro piyo piyo koa e boche polo kochomo Misri. Nyiseche mopa mag Misri kirni e nyime kendo jo-Misri dhi ka rumo.
A declaration about Egypt. See, Yahweh rides on a swift cloud and is coming to Egypt; the idols of Egypt quake before him, and the hearts of the Egyptians melt within themselves.
2 “Abiro thuwo jo-Misri kendgi, ngʼato noked mana gowadgi, joma odak mokiewo noked kendgi, mier madongo noked kendgi, kendo pinjeruodhi bende noked kendgi.
“I will stir up Egyptians against Egyptians: A man will fight against his brother, and a man against his neighbor; city will be against city, and kingdom against kingdom.
3 Chuny jo-Misri nonyosre kendo anaketh gik moko duto ma gichano timo; ginidwar wach kuom nyiseche mopa kod lang chunje mane osetho, ajuoke kod nyakalondo.
The spirit of Egypt will be weakened from within. I will destroy his advice, though they sought the advice of idols, dead men's spirits, mediums, and spiritualists.
4 Abiro chiwo jo-Misri e lwet jatelo mager, kendo ruoth makwiny ema nobed gi loch kuomgi.” Ruoth Nyasaye ma en Jehova Nyasaye Maratego ema owacho.
I will give the Egyptians into the hand of a harsh master, and a strong king will rule over them— this is the declaration of the Lord Yahweh of hosts.”
5 Pige mag aora biro dwono, kendo kuonde ma pi luwo biro two ma bar okak.
The waters of the sea will dry up, and the river will dry up and become empty.
6 Kuonde ma pi luwo nodungʼ marach; bede aore mag Misri nodwon mi two. Odundu kod se biro ner,
The rivers will become foul; the streams of Egypt will dwindle and dry up; the reeds and flags will wither away.
7 kaachiel gi gik moti mopidhie cham e bath aora Nael notwo ma bar okak kendo cham bende noner molal nono.
The reeds along the Nile, at the mouth of the Nile, and every sown field beside the Nile will become parched, will be driven away, and will be no more.
8 Jolupo nobed gi lit mi ywagi, to jogo duto matego golowu e aora Nael; kod joma chiko gokgi e pi nosienyre.
The fishermen will wail and mourn, and all who cast a hook into the Nile will mourn, and those who spread nets on the waters will grieve.
9 Jogo machweyo lewni mag tworo nobed mool kendo joma chweyo gik mabeyo chunygi nonyosre.
The workers in combed flax and those who weave white cloth will turn pale.
10 Jogo maloso lewni nobed gi parruok, kendo jogo mayudo misara nobed gi chuny mool.
The cloth workers of Egypt will be crushed; all who work for hire will be grieved within themselves.
11 Jotelo mag Zoan gin ji mofuwo, kendo jongʼad rieko mag Farao chiwo paro manono. Ere kaka iwacho ne Farao niya, “An achiel kuom jorieko, ma nopuonjore kuom ruodhi machon?”
The princes of Zoan are completely foolish. The advice of the wisest advisors of Pharaoh has become senseless. How can you say to Pharaoh, “I am the son of wise men, a son of ancient kings?”
12 Koro ere jogi mariekgo? Koro ginyisiane mondo ingʼe gima Jehova Nyasaye Maratego chano timo ne Misri.
Where then are your wise men? Let them tell you and make known what Yahweh of hosts plans concerning Egypt.
13 Jotend Zoan osebedo joma ofuwo, jodong Memfis osewuondi; kendo jotelogi osewito jo-Misri.
The princes of Zoan have become fools, the princes of Memphis are deceived; they have made Egypt go astray, who are the cornerstones of her tribes.
14 Jehova Nyasaye osejwangʼogi ma chunygi ool; gimiyo jo-Misri tangni e gik moko duto ma otimo, machal mana ka jakongʼo madwanyore kama ongʼokie.
Yahweh has mixed a spirit of distortion into her midst, and they have led Egypt astray in all she does, like a drunk staggering in his vomit.
15 Onge gimoro amora ma Misri nyalo timo maber, bedni en jatelo kata ngʼama otelne, obed bad othith kata odundu.
There is nothing anyone can do for Egypt, whether head or tail, palm branch or reed.
16 E kindeno jo-Misri nochal mana ka mon. Gibiro kirni ka luoro omakogi ka gineno kum maa e lwet Jehova Nyasaye Maratego.
In that day, the Egyptians will be like women. They will tremble and fear because of the upraised hand of Yahweh of hosts that he raises over them.
17 Piny Juda nomi luoro maduongʼ omak jo-Misri. Ji duto ma nowinj nying Juda kihondko nogo, nikech gima Jehova Nyasaye Maratego osechano timonegi.
The land of Judah will become a cause of staggering to Egypt. Whenever anyone reminds them of her, they will be afraid, because of the plan of Yahweh, that he is planning against them.
18 E kindeno mier madongo abich mag Misri nowuo gi dho jo-Kanaan kendo ginikwongʼre ni ginitine Jehova Nyasaye Maratego. Achiel kuomgi noluongi ni Dala Maduongʼ mar Kethruok.
In that day there will be five cities in the land of Egypt that speak the language of Canaan and swear allegiance to Yahweh of hosts. One of these will be called The City of the Sun.
19 E kindeno kendo mar misango mar Jehova Nyasaye nobedi e dier piny Misri kendo kidi mar rapar mar Jehova Nyasaye noket e tongʼne.
In that day there will be an altar to Yahweh in the middle of the land of Egypt, and a stone pillar at the border to Yahweh.
20 Obiro bedo ranyisi kendo rapar ne Jehova Nyasaye Maratego e piny Misri. Ka giywagore ne Jehova Nyasaye nikech joma sandogi, to obiro oronegi jawar kendo jakony, mi enoresgi.
It will be as a sign and a witness to Yahweh of hosts in the land of Egypt. When they cry to Yahweh because of oppressors, he will send them a savior and a defender, and he will deliver them.
21 Kuom mano Jehova Nyasaye noyangre maler mi jo-Misri ngʼeye, kendo e kindeno giniyie kuom Jehova Nyasaye. Gibiro lame ka gitimone misengini kod chiwo mag cham; ka gisingore ne Jehova Nyasaye kendo gichopo singruokno.
Yahweh will become known to Egypt, and the Egyptians will acknowledge Yahweh on that day. They will worship with sacrifices and offerings, and will make vows to Yahweh and fulfill them.
22 Jehova Nyasaye biro goyo Misri gi masiche, nogogi kendo bangʼe nochang-gi. Giniduogi ir Jehova Nyasaye, mi nowinj kwayogi kendo ochang-gi.
Yahweh will afflict Egypt, afflicting and healing. They will return to Yahweh; he will hear their prayer and will heal them.
23 E kindeno yo maduongʼ nobedi koa Misri nyaka Asuria. Jo-Asuria nodhi Misri kendo jo-Misri bende nodhi Asuria. Jo-Misri kod jo-Asuria nolam kaachiel.
In that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrian will come to Egypt, and the Egyptian to Assyria; and the Egyptians will worship with the Assyrians.
24 E kindeno Israel nobed piny mar adek ka giriwore gi Misri kod Asuria mondo gibed gweth ne piny.
In that day, Israel will be the third with Egypt and Assyria, a blessing in the midst of the earth;
25 Jehova Nyasaye Maratego biro gwedhogi kawacho niya, “Agwedho jo-Misri ma gin joga, jo-Asuria ma gin chwechna kod jo-Israel ma gin girkeni mara.”
Yahweh of hosts will bless them and say, “Blessed be Egypt, my people; Assyria, the work of my hands; and Israel, my inheritance.”
