< Hosea 3 >

1 Jehova Nyasaye nowachona niya, “Dhiyo, inyis herani ni chiegi kendo, kata obedo ni ohere gi ngʼama chielo, kendo en jachode. Here kaka Nyasaye ohero jo-Israel, kata obedo ni gisebaro ka gihero nyiseche moko kendo gihero chiwonigi misengini mag mzabibu motwo.”
Then the LORD said to me, “Go show love to your wife again, though she is loved by another and is an adulteress. Love her as the LORD loves the Israelites, though they turn to other gods and offer raisin cakes to idols.”
2 Omiyo ne angʼiewe kuom shekel apar gabich mag fedha gi gunde ariyo mag shairi.
So I bought her for fifteen shekels of silver and a homer and a lethech of barley.
3 Eka ne awachone niya, “Nyaka idag koda kuom ndalo mathoth; nyaka iwe timbegi mag chode kata riwori gi ngʼato, to abiro dak kodi.”
Then I said to her, “You must live with me for many days; you must not be promiscuous or belong to another, and I will do the same for you.”
4 Nimar jo-Israel biro dak ndalo mangʼeny ka gionge gi ruoth kata jotelo, ka ok gitim misango maonge kido moro milamo, kata law akor mar dolo miluongo ni efod kata nyiseche manono.
For the Israelites must live many days without king or prince, without sacrifice or sacred pillar, and without ephod or idol.
5 To bangʼe jo-Israel biro duogo ka gidwaro Jehova Nyasaye ma Nyasachgi gi Daudi ruodhgi. Ginibi ka gitetni e nyim Jehova Nyasaye kendo e gwethne e ndalo mogik.
Afterward, the people of Israel will return and seek the LORD their God and David their king. They will come trembling to the LORD and to His goodness in the last days.
