< Jo-Galatia 4 >
1 Gima awachonu ema: Ka jacham girkeni pod en nyathi, to oonge pogruok gi misumba, kata obedo ni mwandu duto mar wuon dala osedongʼne.
Then I say, that the heire as long as hee is a childe, differeth nothing from a seruant, though he be Lord of all,
2 Ka pod otin, to chune ni nyaka otim gik ma joritne gi jorit mwandu wuon dwaro mondo otim, korito kinde mane wuon-gi ochano mondo jotijego oket mwandu duto e lwete.
But is vnder tutours and gouernours, vntil the time appointed of the Father.
3 Kamano bende kane pod wan nyithindo, ne oketwa wasumbini mag timbe machon mag piny.
Euen so, we when wee were children, were in bondage vnder the rudiments of the world.
4 To ka kinde mane Nyasaye ochano nochopo, to nooronwa Wuode mane dhako onywolo, kendo mane onywol e bwo Chik,
But when the fulnesse of time was come, God sent forth his Sonne made of a woman, and made vnder the Lawe,
5 mondo ores joma Chik otweyo, eka mondo wadok nyithind Nyasaye machamo mwandune.
That hee might redeeme them which were vnder the Law, that we might receiue the adoption of the sonnes.
6 To nikech un nyithind Nyasaye, Nyasaye oseoro bende Roho mar Wuode e chunywa. Roho maywakne Nyasaye niya, “Abba! Wuora.”
And because ye are sonnes, God hath sent foorth the Spirit of his Sonne into your heartes, which crieth, Abba, Father.
7 Omiyo koro ok un wasumbini, to un nyithind ot, to nikech un nyithind ot, Nyasaye osemiyo wadoko jocham girkeni.
Wherefore, thou art no more a seruant, but a sonne: now if thou be a sone, thou art also the heire of God through Christ.
8 Chon kane pod ukia Nyasaye, ne un wasumbini mag gik ma ok onego kwan kaka nyiseche.
But euen then, when ye knewe not God, yee did seruice vnto them, which by nature are not gods:
9 To ka koro usengʼeyo Nyasaye, kata kawacho e yo machielo maber moloyo ka koro Nyasaye osengʼeyou, to ere kaka uchako udok e timbe machon mag piny, mayom yom kendo maonge teko? Udwaro ni timbegi ochak oketu wasumbini kendo?
But now seeing ye knowe God, yea, rather are knowen of God, howe turne ye againe vnto impotent and beggerly rudiments, whereunto as from the beginning ye wil be in bondage againe?
10 Uketo chunyu mar rito odiechienge moyiedhi, kod dweche gi ndalo kod higni!
Ye obserue dayes, and moneths, and times and yeeres.
11 Ulitna ahinya, kendo timbeu miyo aparo ni dipo nine ayalonu Injili kayiem nono.
I am in feare of you, lest I haue bestowed on you labour in vaine.
12 Jowetena, akwayou ni mondo uchal koda, mana kaka an asebedo machal kodu. Pok uchwanya e yo moro amora.
Be ye as I (for I am euen as you) brethren, I beseech you: ye haue not hurt me at all.
13 Ungʼeyo ni e limbena mokwongo tuo mane atuogo ema nomiyo ayudo thuolo mar yalonu Injili.
And ye know, how through infirmitie of the flesh, I preached ye Gospel vnto you at the first.
14 To kata obedo ni ne atuo kamano, to ne ok uchaya, kendo ne ok ujara. Kar timo kamano, to ne urwaka gi luor mana ka gima ne urwako malaika mar Nyasaye; chutho ne urwaka mana ka gima ne an Kristo Yesu owuon.
And the trial of me which was in my flesh, ye despised not, neither abhorred: but ye receiued me as an Angel of God, yea, as Christ Iesus.
15 To tinde ere mor mane un-go mokwongo? Anyalo wacho ni kane alimou mokwongo, to ne urwaka gi mor maduongʼ ma kata mana wengeu ne unyalo miya.
What was then your felicitie? for I beare you recorde, that if it had bene possible, ye would haue plucked out your owne eyes, and haue giuen them vnto me.
16 Dipo ni asedoko jasiku nikech awachonu adiera?
Am I therefore become your enemie, because I tell you the trueth?
17 Jogo to ero temo ywayou korgi, to ngʼeuru ni gitimo kamano mana mar kethou. Gima gitemo timo en mana mondo gipogu kodwa, mondo gin ema umigi duongʼ moloyo wan.
They are ielous ouer you amisse: yea, they woulde exclude you, that ye shoulde altogether loue them.
18 To onge wach, chiwruok gi mor ber abera, makmana ni nyaka utim kamano kuom timo gima ber. To dine ber moloyo kutimo kamano kinde duto, kata antie kata aonge.
But it is a good thing to loue earnestly alwayes in a good thing, and not onely when I am present with you,
19 Nyithinda mahero, awinjo rem mana ka dhako mamuoch kayo, ka agombo mondo Kristo onywol eiu.
My litle children, of whome I trauaile in birth againe, vntill Christ be formed in you.
20 To dobedo maber ka an kodu sani mondo awuo kodu wangʼ gi wangʼ eka uwinj dwonda maber, nimar chunya chandore ahinya nikech un.
And I would I were with you nowe, that I might change my voyce: for I am in doubt of you.
21 Nyisaneuru un joma dwaro bedo e bwo chik, donge ungʼeyo gima chik wacho?
Tell me, ye that will be vnder the Law, doe ye not heare the Lawe?
22 Ungʼeyo ni nondiki ni Ibrahim ne nigi yawuowi ariyo, ma achiel kuomgi nonywol gi dhako ma misumba, to machielo to nonywol gi dhako ma thuolo.
For it is written, that Abraham had two sonnes, one by a seruant, and one by a free woman.
23 Wuod dhako ma misumbano nonywol kuom dwaro mar dhano, to wuod dhako ma thuolo nonywol kuom singruok.
But he which was of the seruant, was borne after the flesh: and he which was of the free woman, was borne by promise.
24 Tiend wechegi opondo, nikech mon ariyogi ochungʼ kar singruok ariyo. Singruok achiel oa Got Sinai, kendo onywolo nyithindo monego obed wasumbini: Ma en Hagar.
By the which things another thing is meant: for these mothers are the two testaments, the one which is Agar of mount Sina, which gendreth vnto bondage.
25 Hagar ochungʼ kar Got Sinai mantie e piny jo-Arabu, kendo godno chalo gi dala maduongʼ mar Jerusalem nikech osiko e tich misumba gi nyithinde nyaka kawuono.
(For Agar or Sina is a mountaine in Arabia, and it answereth to Hierusalem which nowe is) and she is in bondage with her children.
26 To Jerusalem moger malo ni thuolo kendo en e minwa,
But Hierusalem, which is aboue, is free: which is the mother of vs all.
27 mana kaka ondiki ni: “Bed mamor, in dhako ma migumba, in ma ok inywol nyithindo; tingʼ dwondi malo ka igoyo koko gi ilo, in mane muoch ok okayi; nimar dhako ma migumba nobed gi nyithindo mangʼeny, moloyo dhako man-gi dichwo.”
For it is written, Reioyce thou barren that bearest no children: breake forth, and cry, thou that trauailest not: for the desolate hath many moe children, then she which hath an husband.
28 Kuom mano un owetena, un koro un nyithind singruok mana kaka Isaka.
Therefore, brethren, wee are after the maner of Isaac, children of the promise.
29 To mana kaka e kindeno wuowi mane onywol kuom dwaro mar dhano nosando wuowi mane onywol gi teko mar Roho Maler, e kaka timore bende e kindeni.
But as then hee that was borne after the flesh, persecuted him that was borne after the Spirit, euen so it is nowe.
30 Muma to wacho angʼo kuom wachni? Owacho niya, “Riemb dhako ma misumbani kod wuode nimar wuod dhako ma misumbani ok nobed jacham girkeni kaachiel gi wuod dhako ma ni thuoloni.”
But what sayth the Scripture? Put out the seruant and her sonne: for the sonne of the seruant shall not be heire with the sonne of the free woman.
31 Kuom mano owetena, ok wan nyithind dhako ma misumba, to wan koth dhako man thuolo.
Then brethren, we are not children of the seruant, but of the free woman.
