< Ezekiel 40 >
1 E higa mar piero ariyo gabich kane wan e twech; odiechiengʼ mar apar mar dwe mokwongo, mane en higa mar apar gangʼwen bangʼ podho mar dala maduongʼ mar Jerusalem; chiengʼno bad Jehova Nyasaye ne ni kuoma, kendo ne otera kuno.
In the twenty-fifth year after we had been taken away prisoners, in the first month of the year, on the tenth day of the month, in the fourteenth year after the town was taken, on the very same day, the hand of the Lord was on me, and he took me there.
2 Kane an e fweny kamano, Nyasaye notera nyaka e piny Israel mi nochunga ewi got moro mabor ahinya. To e bath godno ma yo milambo ne aneno ute moger machalo dala maduongʼ.
In the visions of God he took me into the land of Israel, and put me down on a very high mountain, on which there was, as it seemed, a building like a town opposite me.
3 Ne okawa motera kuno, kendo ne aneno ngʼato ma kite chalo gi mula; ne ochungʼ e dhorangach kotingʼo fut molos gi law mayom kod odundu mar pimo e lwete.
He took me there, and I saw a man, looking like brass, with a linen cord in his hand and a measuring rod: and he was stationed in the doorway.
4 Ngʼatno nowachona niya, “Wuod dhano, ne giwangʼi kendo ket chunyi mondo ingʼe gik moko duto abiro nyisi, nikech mano emomiyo osekeli ka. Nyis jo-Israel gik moko duto mineno.”
And the man said to me, Son of man, see with your eyes and give hearing with your ears, and take to heart everything I am going to let you see; for in order that I might let you see them, you have come here: and give an account of all you see to the children of Israel.
5 Ne aneno ohinga moro molworo kama hekalu nitie. Ngʼatno nokaw odundu mar pimo mane ni e lwete ma borne ne romo fut apar. Ne opimo ohinga, kendo lach kore gi borne ne romo fut apar moro ka moro.
And there was a wall on the outside of the house all round, and in the man's hand there was a measuring rod six cubits long by a cubit and a hand's measure: so he took the measure of the building from side to side, one rod; and from base to top, one rod.
6 Eka nodhi nyaka rangach mochomo yo wuok chiengʼ. Noidho raidhi mi opimo lach baw mar rangach midonjogo. Nonwangʼo ka lachne ne en fut apar.
Then he came to the doorway looking to the east, and went up by its steps; and he took the measure of the doorstep, one rod wide.
7 Rangajno ne nigi agola malach motingʼo ute mag jorito mane fut apar maromre to kindgi nopogi gi kor ot ma lachne ne fut aboro kuom borgi gi lachgi. To agola mar ohinga mane nitie e dhorangajno ne romo fut apar.
And the watchmen's rooms were one rod long and one rod wide; and the space between the rooms was five cubits; the doorstep of the doorway, by the covered way of the doorway inside, was one rod.
8 Eka nopimo agola mochomo kama idonjogo,
And he took the measure of the covered way of the doorway inside,
9 lachne ne romo fut apar, to lach mar sirnine ariyogo ne romo fut adek. Agola mar dhorangach midonjogo nochomo hekalu.
Eight cubits; and its uprights, two cubits; the covered way of the doorway was inside.
10 Ne nitie udi adek adek mag jorito e bath ei dhorangach man yo wuok chiengʼ. Bathe udigo ne romre koni gi koni, kendo lach kor ot mane opogogi ne romre duto koni gi koni.
And the rooms of the doorway on the east were three on this side and three on that; all three were of the same size; and the uprights on this side and on that were of the same size.
11 Eka nopimo lach mar kor dhorangach mi noromo fut piero ariyo gi ariyo, to bor mar aripe ne en fut apar gaboro.
And he took the measure of the opening of the doorway, ten cubits wide; and the way down the doorway was thirteen cubits;
12 E nyim udi mag joritogo moro ka moro, ne nitie ohinga moro machiek ma borne kadhi malo noromo fut achiel gi nus, to udigo, moro ka moro, ne romre e borgi gi lachgi, fut ochiko ochiko.
And the space in front of the rooms, a cubit on this side and a cubit on that side; and the rooms six cubits on this side and six cubits on that.
13 Eka nopimo lach mar rangach kochakore ewi ohinga mar achiel kuom ute matindo tindogo, man yo ka tok ot, nyaka chop ewi ohinga momanyore kode, monwangʼo ni oromo fut piero ariyo gabich gi nus, kochakore ewi tat ot achiel nyaka machielo.
And he took the measure of the doorway from the back of one room to the back of the other, twenty-five cubits across, from door to door.
14 Ne opimo dho ohinga mochomo ei rangach moyudo ni lachne en fut piero adek gauchiel. Pimono nochopo nyaka ewi agola momanyore gi laru.
And he took the measure of the covered way, twenty cubits; and opening from the covered way of the doorway was the open square round about.
15 Bor mar yo moa e dhorangach nyaka e laru ne romo fut piero adek.
And from before the opening of the doorway to before the inner covered way of the doorway was fifty cubits.
16 Nitie otuchi matindo tindo e kor ot ma oko mag udigo duto, kendo e kor ot ma iye manie kind udi. E kor udi ma yo ka iye momanyore gi yo mokadho e kind udigo, nogorie yiend othidhe.
And the rooms and their uprights had sloping windows inside the doorway all round, and in the same way the covered way had windows all round on the inside: and on every upright there were palm-trees.
17 Eka nokela nyaka e laru ma oko mar hekalu. Kanyo ne aneno agola moko moger, kod yo momwon motegno mane olosi molworo laru duto. Agolago noriedo e bath yo momwon motegnono, kendo ne gin piero adek.
Then he took me into the outer square, and there were rooms and a stone floor made for the open square all round: there were thirty rooms on the stone floor.
18 Yo momwon motegnono noringo e bath yo maduongʼ midonjogo, kendo lachne ne romre gi borne. Yo momwon motegnono ne en yo mapiny.
And the stone floor was by the side of the doorways, and was as wide as the doorways were long, even the lower floor.
19 Eka nopimo bor man e kind yo ka ii kama idonjogo nyaka oko mar agola ma iye. Nonwangʼo ni oromo fut apar gabich yo ka bathe mochomo yo wuok chiengʼ kod bathe mochomo yo nyandwat.
Then he took the measure of the square across, from before the lower doorway inside to before the inner doorway outside, one hundred cubits. And he took me in the direction of the north,
20 Eka nopimo bor gi lach mar rangach mochomo yo nyandwat, midonjogo e laru ma oko.
And there was a doorway to the outer square, looking to the north; and he took the measure of it to see how wide and how long it was.
21 Udi mag rito mane oger adek e bathe konchiel kendo adek e bath yo momwon motegno koni gi koni, gi ohingage moliero gi malo kod agola mare ne pimgi romre kod mago manie rangach midonjogo mokwongo. Ne en fut piero abiriyo gabich kuom borne kod fut piero adek gabiriyo gi nus kuom lachne.
And it had three rooms on this side of it and three on that; its uprights and its covered ways were the same size as those of the first doorway: it was fifty cubits long and twenty-five cubits wide.
22 Otuchi mage minenogo gi agola mage kod othidhe mogor kuome ne pimgi romre gi mago manie rangach mochomo yo wuok chiengʼ. Kama iluwo kidonjogo kanyo ne nigi raidhi abiriyo, kendo agola mare nochomore kode tir.
And its windows, and the windows of its covered ways, and its palm-trees, were the same as those of the doorway looking to the east; and there were seven steps up to it; and the covered way went inside.
23 Ne nitie rangach midonjogo e laru ma iye mochomore gi rangach man yo nyandwat, machalre gi machielo mane ni koma ochomo yo wuok chiengʼ. Ne opimo bor manie kindgi moyudo ka en fut mia achiel gi piero abich.
And there was a doorway to the inner square opposite the doorway on the north, like the doorway on the east; and he took the measure from doorway to doorway, a hundred cubits.
24 Eka notera nyaka yo milambo kendo naneno rangach mochomo kuno. Nopimo sirnigo kod agola mare, kendo ne giromre e pim kaka mamoko.
And he took me to the south, and I saw a doorway looking to the south: and he took the measure of its rooms and its uprights and its covered ways by these measures.
25 Rangach midonjogo kod agola mage ne nigi otuchi madiny molworogi machalre gi otuchi mane oriedo e rangeye mamoko. Borne ne oromo fut piero abiriyo gabich kendo lachne en fut piero adek gabiriyo gi nus.
And there were windows in it and in the covered way all round, like the other windows: it was fifty cubits long and twenty-five cubits wide.
26 Kama iluwo kidonjo kanyo ne nigi raidhi abiriyo, kendo agola mare ne ngʼiyore kodgi tir. Ne ogor othidhe e kor ohinga moliero gi malo e bathe koni gi koni.
And there were seven steps up to it, and its covered way went inside: and it had palm-trees, one on this side and one on that, on its uprights.
27 Laru ma iye bende ne nigi rangach moro mochomo yo milambo, kendo ne opimo rangajni nyaka rangach ma oko man yo milambo. En noromo fut mia achiel gi piero abich.
And there was a doorway to the inner square looking to the south: he took the measure from doorway to doorway to the south, a hundred cubits.
28 Eka nokela nyaka e laru maiye, kokalo koda e rangach man yo milambo, kendo nopimo rangajno. Pimne ne romre gi pim mar rangeye mamoko duto.
Then he took me to the inner square by the south doorway: and he took the measure of the south doorway by these measures;
And the rooms in it and the uprights and the covered ways, by these measures:
30 Agolni mag rangeye molworo laru maiye lachne ne en fut piero adek gabiriyo gi nus, to tutne ne en fut abiriyo gi nus.
And there were windows in it and in the covered way all round: it was fifty cubits long and twenty-five cubits wide.
31 Agola mare nochomo laru ma oko, sirnige ne ogorie yiend othidhe, kendo raidhi mi idho eka ichop kanyo ne gin aboro.
The covered way was on the side nearest the outer square; and there were palm-trees on the uprights: and there were eight steps going up to it.
32 Eka nokela nyaka e laru maiye man yo wuok chiengʼ, kendo nopimo rangach midonjogo, pimne ne romre gi pim mar rangeye mamoko duto.
And he took me into the inner square facing the east: and he took the measure of the doorway by these measures;
And of the rooms in it and its uprights and its covered ways, by these measures: and there were windows in it and in the covered way round about: it was fifty cubits long and twenty-five cubits wide.
34 Sirni momako agola mare nochomo laru ma oko; sirnige nogorie yiende mag othidhe oko gi iye, kendo raidhi mi idho eka ichop kanyo ne gin aboro.
And the covered way was on the side nearest the outer square; there were palm-trees on the uprights, on this side and on that: and there were eight steps going up to it.
35 Eka nokalo e rangach man yo nyandwat kendo nopime. Pimne ne romre gi rangeje mamoko,
And he took me to the north doorway: and he took the measure of it by these measures;
36 mana kaka utege matindo mag rito, gi ohinga mage mochwore e kor ohinga ma oko kod agola mare, kendo ne en gi dirisni moriedo kolwore duto. Borne noromo fut piero abiriyo gabich to lachne ne en fut piero adek gabiriyo gi nus.
Its rooms, its uprights, and its covered way had the same measures, and its covered way had windows all round: it was fifty cubits long and twenty-five cubits wide.
37 Sirni momako agola mare nochomo laru ma oko; sirnige nogorie yiende mag othidhe oko gi iye, kendo raidhi mi idho eka ichop kanyo ne gin aboro.
Its uprights were on the side nearest to the outer square; there were palm-trees on the uprights, on this side and on that: and there were eight steps going up to it.
38 Ot moro man-gi dhoot ne ni e bath agola e dhorangeye maiye mag donjo moro ka moro, kama ne ilwokoe ringʼo mitimogo misengini miwangʼo pep.
And there was a room with a door in the covered way of the doorway, where the burned offering was washed.
39 Ei agola mar rangach midonjogo ne nitie mesni ariyo bathe koni gi koni, ewi mesnigo ema ne iyangʼoe jamni mitimogo misengini mopogore opogore kaka misengini miwangʼo pep, misengini mag golo richo, kod misengini mag pwodhoruok e richo.
And in the covered way of the doorway there were two tables on this side and two tables on that side, on which the burned offering and the sin-offering and the offering for error were put to death:
40 E tok ohinga mar rangach midonjogo, man but raidhi rangach midonjogo man yo nyandwat ne nitie mesni ariyo, kendo e bath raidhi koni gi koni bende ne nitie mesni ariyo.
On the outer side, to the north, as one goes up to the opening of the doorway, were two tables.
41 Omiyo ne nitie mesni angʼwen e bath rangach midonjogo konchiel kod angʼwen mamoko e bathe komachielo, giduto gin, mesni aboro mane iyangʼoe misengini.
There were four tables on one side and four tables on the other, by the side of the doorway; eight tables, on which they put to death the beasts for the offerings.
E wigi noketie gik miyangʼogo misengini miwangʼo pep kod misengini mamoko.
And there were four tables for the burned offering, made of cut stone, one and a half cubits long, one and a half cubits wide and a cubit high, where the instruments were placed which were used for putting to death the burned offering and the beasts for the offerings.
43 Kendo mbedo ma dhogi ariyo, ma moro ka moro bat achiel, ne ochwo e ohinga, kaluwore gi yo ka iye. Mesnigo ne mar keto ringʼo mag misengini.
And they had edges all round as wide as a man's hand: and on the tables was the flesh of the offerings.
44 E bath rangach man yo nyandwat e laru maiye, ne nitie ot moro mochomo yo milambo; to e bath rangach man yo milambo ne nitie ot machielo machal gi mano mochomo yo nyandwat.
And he took me into the inner square, and there were two rooms in the inner square, one at the side of the north doorway, facing south; and one at the side of the south doorway, facing north.
45 Nowachona niya, “Ot mochomo milambo en mar jodolo matiyo ei hekalu,
And he said to me, This room, facing south, is for the priests who have the care of the house.
46 to ot mochomo nyandwat en mar jodolo matiyo e kendo mar misango. Jodologo duto nyaka bed jo-Lawi ma nyikwa Zadok, kendo gin kendo gin kende ema moyienigi sudo machiegni gi Jehova Nyasaye mondo gitine.”
And the room facing north is for the priests who have the care of the altar: these are the sons of Zadok, who, from among the sons of Levi, come near to the Lord to do the work of his house.
47 Eka nopimo laruno mi oyudo ni bethene duto ne romre, ka gin gi fut mia achiel gi piero abich moro ka moro borne gi lachne. Kendo mar misango ne ni e nyim hekaluno.
And he took the measure of the open square, a hundred cubits long and a hundred cubits wide, being square; and the altar was in front of the house.
48 Nokela nyaka e agola mar hekalu kendo nopimo sirni mag agolano; bethene ne romo fut abiriyo gi nus koni gi koni. Lach mar kama idonjogo ne romo fut piero ariyo gachiel kendo ohinga mage mochwore e kor ohinga ma oko ne romo fut angʼwen gi nus bathe koni gi koni.
Then he took me to the covered way before the house, and took the measure of its uprights, five cubits on one side and five cubits on the other: and the doorway was fourteen cubits wide; and the side-walls of the doorway were three cubits on one side and three cubits on the other.
49 Lach mar agola ne en fut piero adek, kendo chakre nyime nyaka toke noromo fut apar gaboro. Ne inyalo chopi kanyo kiidho raidhi man-gi raidhi mangʼeny, kendo ne nitie sirni mochungi motegno mane osiro bath gama koni gi koni.
The covered way was twenty cubits long and twelve cubits wide, and they went up to it by ten steps; and there were pillars by the uprights, one on one side and one on the other.
