< Ezekiel 32 >
1 Chiengʼ mokwongo mar dwe mar apar gariyo, e higa mar apar gariyo, wach Jehova Nyasaye nobirona kawacho niya:
And it cometh to pass, in the twelfth year, in the twelfth month, in the first of the month, hath a word of Jehovah been unto me, saying,
2 “Wuod dhano, chwog wend ywak ni Farao ruodh Misri, kendo wachne ni: “‘Ichalo ka sibuor e kind ogendini, ichalo gi thuol malich mantie e chuny nembe madongo, ka imuomo aoreni ka ithacho pi gi tiendeni, kendo ka iduwo pige mag aore magi.
'Son of man, lift up a lamentation for Pharaoh king of Egypt, and thou hast said unto him: A young lion of nations thou hast been like, And thou [art] as a dragon in the seas, And thou comest forth with thy flowings, And dost trouble the waters with thy feet, And thou dost foul their flowings.
3 “‘Ma e gima Jehova Nyasaye Manyalo Gik Moko Duto wacho: “‘Abiro konyora gi oganda mar ji mangʼeny, mi abol gogo mara kuomi, kendo gibiro maki gi gogono ma ok inyal bwodho.
Thus said the Lord Jehovah: And — I have spread out for thee My net, With an assembly of many peoples, And they have brought thee up in My net.
4 Abiro diri oko e lowo kendo abiro boli e dier pap malach. Abiro chiko winy duto manie kor polo mondo onur kuomi, kendo le mager duto mag piny biro chami mi giyiengʼ.
And I have left thee in the land, On the face of the field I do cast thee out, And have caused to dwell upon thee every fowl of the heavens, And have satisfied out of thee the beasts of the whole earth.
5 Anadhur ringri modongʼ motop ewi gode kendo apongʼo holni gi chokeni.
And I have put thy flesh on the mountains, And filled the valleys [with] thy hugeness,
6 Abiro budo lowo gi rembi mamol koa ewi gode, kendo holni biro pongʼ gi ringri.
And watered the land with thy flowing, From thy blood — unto the mountains, And streams are filled from thee.
7 Chiengʼ ma anatieki mi aum kor polo to sulwe ok norieny; kendo wangʼ chiengʼ gi boche polo ok nobedie bende dwe ok norieny.
And in quenching thee I have covered the heavens, And have made black their stars, The sun with a cloud I do cover, And the moon causeth not its light to shine.
8 Ler duto marieny e polo anami lokreni mudho; anakel mudho mondo oum pinyi, Jehova Nyasaye Manyalo Gik Moko Duto osewacho.
All luminaries of light in the heavens, I make black over thee, And I have given darkness over thy land, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah,
9 Abiro miyo chuny ji mangʼeny chandre, chiengʼ ma anakel kethruokni e dier ogendini, kendo e dier pinje mapok ingʼeyo.
And I have vexed the heart of many peoples, In My bringing in thy destruction among nations, Unto lands that thou hast not known.
And I have made many peoples astonished at thee, And their kings are afraid at thee with trembling, In My brandishing My sword before their faces, And they have trembled every moment, Each for his life — in the day of thy fall.
11 “‘Nikech ma e gima Jehova Nyasaye Manyalo Gik Moko Duto wacho: “‘Ligangla mar ruodh Babulon biro lwar kuomi.
For thus said the Lord Jehovah: A sword of the king of Babylon entereth thee,
12 Abiro miyo ogandani podhi e dho ligangla mag joma roteke; gin joma ger maonge joma ipimogo e piny ngima. Gibiro tieko sunga mar Misri kendo ogandane duto ibiro tieko.
By swords of the mighty I cause thy multitude to fall, The terrible of nations — all of them, And they have spoiled the excellency of Egypt, And destroyed hath been all her multitude.
13 Abiro nego kweth mag dhogi duto kamoro amora ma gimodhoe, bangʼe pi ok nochak odure nikech dhano kata jamni ma diduwe nobed maonge.
And I have destroyed all her beasts, From beside many waters, And trouble them not doth a foot of man any more, Yea, the hoofs of beasts trouble them not.
14 Bangʼe anami pigene chak dok maler kendo anami aorene mol mayom, maonge gima gengʼe. Jehova Nyasaye Manyalo Gik Moko Duto osewacho.’
Then do I cause their waters to sink, And their rivers as oil I cause to go, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.
15 Ka aketho piny Misri mi olokore thim, kendo anego gik moko duto modak kuno, bende anego ji duto modak kuno, eka giningʼe ni An e Jehova Nyasaye.
In My making the land of Egypt a desolation, And desolated hath been the land of its fulness, In My smiting all the inhabitants in it, And they have known that I [am] Jehovah.
16 “Ma e wend ywak ma gibiro dengonego. Nyi ogendini biro dengo ka were; gibiro were ka giywago kode Misri gi ogandane duto, Jehova Nyasaye Manyalo Gik Moko Duto osewacho.”
A lamentation it [is], and they have lamented her, Daughters of the nations do lament her, For Egypt, and for all her multitude, they lament her, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.'
17 E higa mar apar gariyo, tarik apar gachiel mar dwe, wach Jehova Nyasaye nobirona kama:
And it cometh to pass, in the twelfth year, in the fifteenth of the month, hath a word of Jehovah been unto me, saying,
18 “Wuod dhano, ywag jo-Misri ma oganda maduongʼ, kendo iwitgi e piny joma otho kendo gibed kuno gi ogendini mamoko maroteke.
'Son of man, Wail for the multitude of Egypt, And cause it to go down, It — and the daughters of honourable nations, Unto the earth — the lower parts, With those going down to the pit.
19 Penj-gi ni, ‘Uparo ni oheru moloyo joma moko? Dhiuru e bur mondo un bende uriwru gi jogo mane osetho chon.’
Than whom hast thou been more pleasant? Go down, and be laid with the uncircumcised.
20 Gibiro podho e dier joma onegi gi ligangla. Oseik ligangla ni lweny mondo mi otieke gi ogandane duto.
In the midst of the pierced of the sword they fall, [To] the sword she hath been given, They drew her out, and all her multitude.
21 Thuondi maroteke biro nyiso jo-Misri gi jogo mane konyogi ni, ‘Gisebiro piny ei bur kendo koro giriere piny gi joma ne ok ongʼeyo Nyasaye, ma gin joma ne onegi gi ligangla.’ (Sheol )
Speak to him do the gods of the mighty out of the midst of sheol, With his helpers — they have gone down, They have lain with the uncircumcised, The pierced of the sword. (Sheol )
22 “Asuria ni kanyo gi jolwenje duto, kolwore gi liete mag joma osenego duto, ma gin ji duto moseneg gi ligangla.
There [is] Asshur, and all her assembly, Round about him [are] his graves, All of them [are] wounded, who are falling by sword,
23 Lieteni ni e buche matut duto kendo jolweny mage onindo piny kolworo liende. Ji duto mane osebedo ka bwogo ji e piny joma ngima osenegi, kendo koro oseneg-gi gi ligangla.
Whose graves are appointed in the sides of the pit, And her assembly is round about her grave, All of them wounded, falling by sword, Because they gave terror in the land of the living.
24 “Elam ni kuno, kaachiel gi ogandane duto kolworo liende. Giduto oseneg-gi, kendo gisepodho e dho ligangla. Ji duto mane osebedo ka bwogo ji e piny joma ngima osedhi piny ei lowo ka ok otergi nyangu. Wichkuot koro omakogi kaachiel gi joma ridore kochomo bur matut.
There [is] Elam, and all her multitude, Round about [is] her grave, All of them wounded, who are falling by sword, Who have gone down uncircumcised unto the earth — the lower parts, Because they gave their terror in the land of the living, And they bear their shame with those going down to the pit.
25 Oselosne kar nindo e kind joma onegi, ka ogandane duto olworo liende. Gin duto ok otergi nyangu, kendo ligangla onegogi. Nikech mbi margi noselandore e piny joma ngima, gin bende koro wigi okuot kaachiel gi joma ridore kochomo bur matut; osepielgi kaachiel gi joma ne osenegi.
In the midst of the wounded they have appointed a bed for her with all her multitude, Round about him [are] her graves, All of them uncircumcised, pierced of the sword, For their terror was given in the land of the living, And they bear their shame with those going down to the pit, In the midst of the pierced he hath been put.
26 “Meshek gi Tubal bende ni kuno, kaachiel gi ogandagi duto kolworo lietegi. Gin duto ok otergi nyangu, kendo ligangla osenegogi, nikech ne gichando ji e piny joma ngima.
There [is] Meshech, Tubal, and all her multitude, Round about him [are] her graves, All of them uncircumcised, pierced of the sword, For they gave their terror in the land of the living,
27 Donge koro giriere piny e dier jokedo mamoko ma ok oter nyangu mosepodho, ma osedhi e bur kaachiel gi gigegi mag lweny, kendo makoro osepiel wiyegi e liganglagi? Kum mar richogi koro omako nyaka chokegi, kata obedo ni mbi mag jolwenygi ne olandore e piny joma ngima duto. (Sheol )
And they lie not with the mighty, Who are falling of the uncircumcised, Who have gone down to sheol with their weapons of war, And they put their swords under their heads, And their iniquities are on their bones, For the terror of the mighty [is] in the land of the living. (Sheol )
28 “To in bende, Farao, ibiro turi mi irieri piny kaachiel gi joma ok oter nyangu, kendo gi joma ligangla onego.
And thou, in the midst of the uncircumcised art broken, And dost lie with the pierced of the sword.
29 “Edom ni kuno, kaachiel gi ruodhi mage kod yawuot ruodhi mage. Kata obedo ni gin gi teko mangʼeny, to koro opielgi kaachiel gi joma ligangla onego. Opielgi piny gi joma ok oter nyangu, giriere piny e dier joma ridore kochomo bur matut.
There [is] Edom, her kings, and all her princes, Who have been given up in their might, With the pierced of the sword, They with the uncircumcised do lie, And with those going down to the pit.
30 “Yawuot ruodhi duto modak yo nyandwat kaachiel gi jo-Sidon duto bende ni kuno. Gin bende giselal gi joma onegi ka wigi okuot, kata obedo ni negigoyo ji gi kihondko kuom tekogi mangʼeny. Koro giriere piny ka ok otergi nyangu, kaachiel gi joma ligangla onego, kendo wigi okuot kaachiel gi joma ridore kochomo bur matut.
There [are] princes of the north, All of them, and every Zidonian, Who have gone down with the pierced in their terror, Of their might they are ashamed, And they lie uncircumcised with the pierced of the sword, And they bear their shame with those going down to the pit.
31 “Farao owuon, kaachiel gi jolwenje duto biro nenogi kendo chunye nodwogi koneno ogandane duto mane onegi gi ligangla, Jehova Nyasaye Manyalo Gik Moko Duto osewacho.
Then doth Pharaoh see, And he hath been comforted for all his multitude, The pierced of the sword — Pharaoh and all his force, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.
32 Kata obedo ni ne ayiene mondo obwog piny joma ngima, to Farao gi joge duto biro riere piny e bur kaachiel gi joma ok oter nyangu, gi jogo duto ma onegi gi ligangla, Jehova Nyasaye Manyalo Gik Moko Duto owacho.”
For I have given his terror in the land of the living, And he hath been laid down in the midst of the uncircumcised, With the pierced of the sword — Pharaoh, and all his multitude, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah!'
