< Ezekiel 28 >
1 Wach Jehova Nyasaye nobirona kama:
A message from the Lord came to me, saying,
2 “Wuod dhano, Nyis ruodh Turo niya, Ma e gima Jehova Nyasaye Manyalo Gik Moko Duto wacho: “‘Sunga manie chunyi omiyo iwacho niya, “An nyasaye; Abet e kom duongʼ mar nyasaye moro modak e chuny nembe.” To chutho in mana dhano, to ok in nyasaye, kata obedo ni iketori ni iriek kaka nyasaye.
“Son of man, tell the ruler of Tyre this is what the Lord God says: You are so proud of yourself, saying, ‘I'm a god! I sit on my throne like a god in the middle of the sea.’ But you're only a man. You're not a god, even though you think you are one.
3 Koso chunyi wuondi ni iriek moloyo Daniel? Iparo ni onge gima opondoni?
You even think you're wiser than Daniel and there's no secret that's hidden from you!
4 Nikech iriek bende in gi winjo matut, isekano mwandu mathoth mana ne in iwuon, bende isechoko fedha gi dhahabu mangʼeny, mi ikanogi e dereni mag keno.
Yes, you have used your wisdom and cleverness to make yourself rich, collecting plenty of gold and silver for your treasury.
5 Rieko ma in-go mangʼeny kuom loko ohala osekonyi medo mwandu ewi mwandugi, kendo nikech mwandunigo koro isebedo gi sunga e chunyi.
You became wealthy through your superb trading skills, but your wealth only made you proud.
6 “‘Kuom mano, ma e gima Jehova Nyasaye Manyalo Gik Moko Duto wacho: “‘Kata iparo ni iriek ka nyasaye kamano,
So this is what the Lord God says: Because you think that you're a god,
7 to abiro kelo joma oa e pinje moko mondo omonji, gin pinje mager ahinya, kendo gibiro gi ligangla mi gitiekgo mwanduni duto ma iseyudo kuom riekoni kendo misungorigo.
watch as I bring foreigners to attack you. They are more cruel than any other nation. They will use their swords to destroy you and your wonderful wisdom; they will humble your proud glory.
8 Gibiro negi gi nek marach mi giboli e bur matut, kendo ibiro tho tho marach, e chuny nam.
They will drag you down into the grave. You will die horribly out there in the sea.
9 Bende koro iniwach ni, “An nyasaye,” ka joma biro negigo ochomi tir? Inibed dhano adhana matho, ma ok nyasaye, e lwet joma negi.
Are you still going to claim, ‘I'm a god,’ to those who are killing you? You'll just be another human victim, not a god, in the eyes of your attackers.
10 Initho tho marach e lwet jopinje mamoko ma ok oter nyangu. Jehova Nyasaye Manyalo Gik Moko Duto osewacho.’”
You will be killed like some vile person by these foreigners. I myself have spoken, declares the Lord God.”
11 Wach Jehova Nyasaye nobirona kama:
Another message from the Lord came to me, saying,
12 “Wuod dhano, chwog wend ywak kuom ruodh Turo kiwachone ni: ‘Ma e gima Jehova Nyasaye Manyalo Gik Moko Duto Wacho: “‘Ne in ranyisi maber ni ji, ne ipongʼ gi rieko kendo ne iber neno.
“Son of man, sing a funeral song for the king of Tyre and tell him this is what the Lord God says: Once you were complete and perfect, full of wisdom and flawless in beauty.
13 Ne idak e Eden, e puoth Nyasaye; ne irwakori gi kite mopogore opogore ma nengogi tek kaka: rubi, gi topaz, gi emerald, gi krisolit, gi oniks kod jaspa, gi safir, gi tarkus kod beril. Gigi duto ne owir manyilni gi dhahabu kendo ne olosnigi e kinde mane ochweyie.
You were there in Eden, God's garden. You wore all kinds of precious stones: carnelian, topaz, and amethyst; beryl, onyx, and jasper; lapis lazuli, turquoise, and emerald. They were placed in gold mountings and settings using skilled craftsmanship, and were made on the day when you were created.
14 Ne owiri kaka malaika ma jarit miluongo ni kerubi, nikech mano e gima ne achanoni, mondo ibedi. Ne idak e got maler mar Nyasaye; kendo ne iwuotho e kind kite maliet ka mach.
I gave you the position of guardian cherub, and I anointed you. You lived on God's holy mountain and you walked among the stones of fire.
15 Yoreni duto ne ler maonge ketho kata achiel chakre chiengʼ mane ochweyie, nyaka chop chiengʼ mane oyudie ketho kuomi.
You were innocent in everything you did from the day you were created until you were found to be doing evil.
16 Kuom ohala mane itimo alanda ne ipongʼ gi timbe mag mahundu, mine idoko jaricho. Emomiyo ne adiri oko ka wichkuot omaki, ka agoli e got mar Nyasaye, kendo ne ariembi chuth, yaye kerubi ma jarit, mi ia e dier kite maliet ka mach.
You were so busy with all your trading schemes that they destroyed you inside, leading you to sin and filling you with violence. So I sent you away in disgrace from God's mountain, and I removed you from your position as guardian cherub from your place among the stones of fire.
17 Chunyi nobedo gi sunga nikech ber mane ibergo, kendo ne iketho riekoni nikech duongʼ mane in-go. Omiyo ne adiri makeli nyaka e piny; mibedo gima ruodhi mag piny rango amingʼa ka wuoro.
You became proud because of your beauty, you ruined your wisdom because you thought you were so wonderful. So I threw you down to the ground and I made sure kings saw what happened to you.
18 Isechido kara maler mar lemo kuom richoni mathoth mag ohandi mimayogo ji. Omiyo ne amoko mach kuomi, mine owangʼi motieki, bende ne amiyo ilokori buru manie lowo e nyim ji duto mane rangi.
By all your sins and your dishonest trading you have made your sanctuaries unclean. So I had fire come from inside you, and it burned you up. I turned you into ashes on the ground as everybody there watched.
19 Ogendini duto mane ongʼeyi, to dhogi omoko koneni; giko mari osebedo marach miwuoro kendo ok nochak oneni kendo.’”
All who know you among the nations are horrified at what happened to you. Disaster has brought you down and you're finished forever.”
20 Wach Jehova Nyasaye nobirona kama:
A message from the Lord came to me, saying,
21 “Wuod dhano, chom wangʼi kuom Sidon; kor wach kuome
“Son of man, face towards Sidon and prophesy against her.
22 kendo iwachne ni: ‘Ma e gima Jehova Nyasaye Manyalo Gik Moko Duto wacho: “‘Adagi, yaye Sidon, kendo abiro donjora kodi ka ayudo duongʼ. Gibiro ngʼeyo ni An e Jehova Nyasaye, chiengʼ ma akumo Sidon, mi anyisra kaka An ngʼama ler e diergi.
Tell them this is what the Lord God says: Watch out, Sidon, for I'm condemning you, and I will be vindicated by what happens to you. People will know that I am the Lord when I punish her and show my holy character through her experience.
23 Abiro oro tuoche malandore kuome, kendo abiro miyo remo mol e wangʼ yorene mag dala. Joma onegi biro podho e iye ka ligangla olwore koni gi koni. Eka giningʼe ni An e Jehova Nyasaye.
I'm going to send a disease to plague her, and have people killed in her streets. Those who are killed will fall inside the city as the enemy attacks with swords from every side. Then they will know that I am the Lord.
24 “‘Jo-Israel ok nochak obedi gi jobutgi machalo kuth pedo machwopo malit kata machalo kudho mabith. Eka giningʼe ni An e Jehova Nyasaye Manyalo Gik Moko Duto.
The people of Israel will no longer have to put up with these people who are thorns in their side, painful brambles and sharp thorns who treat Israel with contempt. Then they will know that I am the Lord God.
25 “‘Ma e gima Jehova Nyasaye Manyalo Gik Moko Duto wacho: Ka anachok jo-Israel ka agologi oko e dier ogendini kuonde ma gikiree, to ananyisra kaka ngʼama ler manie e diergi e kind ogendinigo. Eka ginidag e pinygi giwegi, piny mane amiyo Jakobo jatichna.
This is what the Lord God says: When I bring back the people of Israel from the nations where they've been scattered. I will show my holy character through them as everyone watches. Then they will live in their own country, which I gave to my servant Jacob.
26 Ginidag kanyo gi kwe kendo giniger udi kendo ginipidh mzabibu e puothegi; ginidag gi kwe ka akumo pinje molworogi duto mane jarogi. Eka giningʼe ni An e Jehova Nyasaye ma Nyasachgi.’”
They will live there in safety, building houses and planting vineyards. They will live there in safety when I punish all those around them who treat them with contempt. Then they will know that I am the Lord their God.”
