< Wuok 30 >
1 “Los kendo mar misango miwangʼoe ubani gi yiend siala.
And thou shalt make an altar, for burning incense, of acacia wood, shalt thou make it:
2 Borne gi lachne nyaka bed maromre ma gin nus mita moro ka moro, to borne madhi malo nyaka bed mita achiel, kendo tungene nyaka bed gimoro achiel kode.
a cubit, the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof four square, shall it be, —and two cubits, the height thereof, of the same, [shall be] the horns thereof,
3 Baw wiye kod bethene duto kod tungene gi dhahabu maler bende losne ndiri mar dhahabu molwore.
And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold the top thereof, and the sides thereof round about, and the horns thereof, -and thou shalt make to it a border of gold round about.
4 Los ratege ariyo mag dhahabu ne kendono mar misangono e bwo ndiri ka gimanyore ariyo koni gi koni mondo omak ludhe mitingʼego.
And, two rings of gold, shalt thou make to it, under the border thereof upon the two corners thereof, shalt thou make them on the two sides thereof, —so shall they become receptacles for the staves, to lift it therewith.
5 Los yiend siala kendo ibawgi gi dhahabu.
And thou shalt make the staves of acacia wood, —and overlay them with gold.
6 Ket kendono mar misango e nyim pasia molier e nyim Sandug Muma man e nyim Sandug Raparno kama abiro romoe kodu.
And thou shalt place it before the veil, which is by the ark of the testimony, —before the propitiatory which is upon the testimony, where I will meet thee.
7 “Harun nyaka wangʼ ubani mangʼwe ngʼar e kendono mar misango okinyi kokinyi koiko teyni.
And Aaron shall burn thereon fragrant incense, —morning by morning, when he trimmeth the lamps, shall he burn it;
8 Nyaka owangʼ ubani kendo e seche momokoe teyni godhiambo mondo ubanigo owangʼ kinde duto e nyim Jehova Nyasaye nyaka ne tienge mabiro.
and, when Aaron lighteth the lamps, between the evenings, shall he burn it, —a continual incense before Yahweh, to your generations.
9 Kik ichiw kit ubani moro amora e kendono mar misango kata misango miwangʼo pep kata chiwo mar cham kendo kik ichiw misango miolo piny.
Ye shall not cause to ascend thereupon strange incense, nor an ascending-sacrifice, nor a meal-offering, —and a drink offering, shall ye not pour out thereupon.
10 Harun nochiw misango mar pwodho tunge kendono dichiel e higa. Chiwo mar higa ka higa mar pwodhruok nyaka tim gi remb misango mar golo richo ni tienge duto mabiro. Kendono nobed maler moloyo ni Jehova Nyasaye.”
But Aaron shall put a propitiatory-covering upon the horns thereof, once in the year: of the blood of the sin-bearer for propitiatory-coverings, once in the year, shall he put a propitiatory-covering thereupon to your generations, most holy, it is to Yahweh.
11 Eka Jehova Nyasaye nowacho ne Musa niya,
Then spake Yahweh unto Moses, saying—
12 “Ka ikwano jo-Israel, to ngʼato ka ngʼato nyaka chul nengo ne Jehova Nyasaye mowarogo ngimane e sa ma ikwane. Eka onge masira mane ogore kuomgi ka ikwanogi.
When thou takest the sum of the sons of Israel, by their numberings, then shall they give every man a propitiatory-covering for his soul to Yahweh, when they are numbered, —that there may be among them no plague when they are numbered.
13 Ngʼato angʼata moriwore gi joma osekwan nyaka chiw nus shekel kaluwore gi kweno mar shekel manie kama ler mar lemo, ma pekne romo kilo auchiel. Nus shekel mochiwo nobed mar Jehova Nyasaye.
This, shall they give—every one that passeth over to them that have been numbered—a half-shekel by the shekel of the sanctuary, —the shekel is twenty gerahs—the half-shekel, shall be a heave-offering to Yahweh.
14 Jogo duto moriwore gi joma osekwan ma jo-higni piero ariyo kadhi nyime nyaka kel chiwono ne Jehova Nyasaye.
All who pass over to the numbered, from twenty years old and upwards, shall give the heave-offering of Yahweh.
15 Ka uchulo Jehova Nyasaye chiwo ma upwodhorugo, jo-mwandu kik kel mangʼeny moloyo midwaro, to jachan bende kik kel matin moremo kar midwaro.
The rich, shall not give more, and the poor, shall not give less, than the half-shekel, —when they give the heave-offering of Yahweh, to put a propitiatory-covering over your souls.
16 Kaw pesa mar pwodhruokno kuom jo-Israel kendo kete e tich mar Hemb Romo. Enobed Rapar ni jo-Israel e nyim Jehova Nyasaye ka utimogo pwodhruok ni ngimau.”
So then thou shalt take the silver for the propitiatory-coverings from the sons of Israel, and shalt expend it upon the service of the tent of meeting, —thus shall it be for the sons of Israel as a memorial before Yahweh, to put a propitiatory-covering over your souls.
17 Eka Jehova Nyasaye nowacho ne Musa niya,
Then spake Yahweh unto Moses, saying—
18 “Los karaya mar luok molos gi mula to gi rachungi miketoe karayano bende olos gi mula. Kete e kind Hemb Romo kod kendo mar misango bangʼe iol pi e iye.
And thou shalt make a laver of bronze, and its stand of bronze for bathing, —and thou shalt place it between the tent of meeting and the altar, and shalt put therein water.
19 Harun gi yawuote noluok tiendegi kod lwetegi gi pi mogol e iye.
So shall Aaron and his sons bathe thereat, —their hands, and their feet.
20 Kinde ka kinde ka gidonjo e Hemb Romo, to nyaka giluokre gi pigno mondo kik githo. Bende kinde ka kinde ma gidhi kar kendo mar misango mondo gichiw misango miwangʼo pep ni Jehova Nyasaye,
When they enter the tent of meeting, they shall bathe with water so shall they not die, —or when they approach unto the altar to minister, to burn as incense an altar-flame to Yahweh:
21 to nyaka giluok lwetgi gi tiendgi mondo kik githo. Mano nobedi chik mochwere momako Harun gi nyikwaye nyaka ni tienge duto mabiro.”
so then they shall bathe their hands and their feet and shall not die, —and it shall be to them an age-abiding statute, to him and to his seed to their generations.
22 Eka Jehova Nyasaye nowacho ne Musa niya,
Then spake Yahweh unto Moses, saying—
23 “Gik mangʼwe ngʼar monego ikaw gin: kilo auchiel mar mane-mane, kilo adek mar dalasini, gi obala ndago maromo kilo adek,
Thou, therefore, take to thee—principal spices, —self-flowing myrrh, five hundred, and fragrant cinnamon, half as much, two hundred and fifty, and, fragrant cane, two hundred and fifty;
24 kasia maromo kilo auchiel, kendo giduto nyaka pimgi gi rapim ma itiyogo e kama ler mar lemo, to bende ikel lita angʼwen mar mo zeituni.
and, cassia, five hundred, by the shekel of the sanctuary, —and, oil olive, a hin.
25 Riw gigi duto mondo ilos mor pwodhruok maler madungʼ tik mangʼwe ngʼar mana kaka ngʼat molony e loso gik mangʼwe ngʼar loso. Enobed mor pwodhruok maler.
And thou shalt make it an oil for holy anointing, a compounded perfume the work of a perfumer, —an oil for holy anointing, shall it be.
26 Bangʼe ti kode ka iwirogo Hemb Romo, Sandug Muma mar Singruok,
And thou shalt anoint therewith the tent of meeting, —and the ark of the testimony;
27 mesa gi gigene duto mag tije, rachungi taya gi gigene duto mag tich, kendo mar misango miwangʼoe ubani,
and the table and all its utensils, and the lampstand, and its utensils, —and the incense altar,
28 kendo mar misango miwangʼo pep gi gik moko duto mitiyogo e kendono, gi karaya kod rachungi mare.
and the altar for the ascending-sacrifice, and all its utensils, -and the laver, and its stand.
29 Nyaka ipwodhgi mondo gibed maler moloyo kendo gimoro amora morere kuomgi nobed maler.
So shalt thou hallow them, and they shall be most holy, —whosoever toucheth them, shall be holy.
30 “Wir Harun gi yawuote kendo pwodhgi mondo gitina kaka jodolo.
Aaron also, and his sons, shalt thou anoint, —so shalt thou hallow them to minister as priests unto me.
31 Nyis jo-Israel kama, ‘Ma ema nobed mor pwodhruok maler ne tienge duto mabiro.
And unto the sons of Israel, shalt thou speak, saying, An oil for holy anointing, shall this be to me, to your generations.
32 Kik iole e dend ji bende kik ilos mo moro amora machal kaka olos mono. En gima owal kendo nyaka ikawe kaka gima owal.
Upon the flesh of a common man, shall it not be poured, and according to the proportions thereof, shall ye not make any like it, —holy, it is, holy, shall it be to you.
33 Ngʼato angʼata manolos mo machal kamano kata manowir ngʼato angʼata ma ok jadolo nongʼad kare oko.’”
Whosoever compoundeth any like it, and whosoever bestoweth thereof upon a stranger, shall be cut off from among his people.
34 Eka Jehova Nyasaye nowacho ne Musa niya, “Kaw gik madum mangʼwe ngʼar kaka duogo, sare, mieny kod ubani maler, kendo pekgi nyaka bed maromre,
Then said Yahweh unto Moses—Take to thee aromatic spices stacte and onycha, and galbanum, —aromatic spices, and pure frankincense, —weight for weight, shall it be.
35 kendo riwgi milosgo ubani mangʼwe ngʼar ma en tich jalos gik mangʼwe ngʼar. Ketie chumbi mondo obed gima ler mowal.
And thou shalt make of it an incense, a perfume the work of a perfumer, —salted, pure, holy.
36 Kawe moko matin kuom gigo mondo ireg mayom kendo iketie Sandug Muma manie nyim Hemb Romo, kama abiro romoe kodu, kendo nobednu maler moloyo.
And thou shalt beat some of it to powder, and place thereof before the testimony, in the tent of meeting, where I am to meet with thee, —most holy, shall it be to you.
37 Kik ulos ubani moro amora e yo machal kama ne un uwegi, nikech en gima ler mowalne Jehova Nyasaye.
And the incense which thou shalt make, according to the proportions thereof, ye shall not make for yourselves, —holy, shall it be to thee, to Yahweh.
38 Ngʼato angʼata manolos ubani e yo machal kamano mondo owinj tik mamit ma aa kuome nyaka ngʼad kare oko kuom ogandane.”
Whosoever shall make like it, to smell of it shall be cut off from among his people.
