Jo-Efeso 1
1 An Paulo, jaote mar Kristo Yesu kuom dwaro mar Nyasaye, andikonu un jomaler man Efeso, jogo maluwo Yesu gi chunygi duto.
Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus:
2 Ngʼwono gi kwe moa kuom Nyasaye Wuonwa kod Ruodhwa Yesu Kristo obed kodu.
Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
3 Pak obed ni Nyasaye ma wuon Ruodhwa Yesu Kristo, mosegwedhowa kod gweth duto mag chuny koa e polo kuom Kristo.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
4 Kane pok ochwe piny, noyierowa kuom Kristo mondo wabed maler kendo maonge songa e nyime.
According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
5 Kuom herane, nowalowa chon mondo wabed yawuote kuom Yesu Kristo nikech mano ema ne chenrone kod dwarone.
Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
6 Notimo kamano mondo ngʼwonone man-gi duongʼ mane ochiwo nono oyud pak, ma osemiyowa nono kuom Wuode mohero.
To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
7 Ne owarowa kuom rembe koweyonwa richowa koluwore gi ngʼwonone mathoth.
In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
8 Mano kaka mich ma Nyasaye oseolo kuomwa kuom ngʼwonone ogundho.
Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;
9 Kuom riekone kod ngʼeyone, oseelonwa dwarone mopondo, mana kaka nochano chon ni notimrenwa kuom Kristo,
Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:
10 ka kindeno nochopi nochano mondo oket gik moko duto manie polo gi piny e bwo loch achiel, ma en Kristo.
That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:
11 Kuome bende ema noyierowae mondo wabed jocham girkeni; kaluwore gi chenrone motimogo gik moko duto moluwore gi dwarone,
In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
12 mondo mi wan mane wakwongo geno kuom Kristo, wadag ngima mamiyo ipako duongʼne maler.
That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
13 To un bende nokwanu kaka joma oyie kane uwinjo wach mar adier ma en Injili mar warruok. Kane useyie kuome noketonu kido mar Roho Maler mane osingi,
In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
14 Rohono en singo manyiso ni wanayud girkeni nyaka chopi kinde mar warruok mar jo-Nyasaye, mondo duongʼne oyud pak.
Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
15 Mano emomiyo, nyaka ne awinj wach yie ma un-go kuom Ruoth Yesu kendo kuom hera ma uherogo joma oyie duto,
Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,
16 pok aweyo goyo erokamano ni Nyasaye nikech un, ka aparou e lemona.
Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;
17 Asiko kakwayo mondo Nyasach Ruodhwa Yesu Kristo, Wuon duongʼ duto omiu Roho Maler mamiyou rieko kendo mafwenyonu tiend gik mopondo mondo ungʼeye maber.
That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
18 Bende alamonu mondo chunyu maiye oyawre mondo ungʼe tiend geno ma oseluongoue, ma gin girkeni mogundho mokano ni joma oyie,
The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
19 kod tekone maduongʼ mokalo apima mosemiyowa wan joma oyie. Tekoneno nyiso tich mar tekre maduongʼ,
And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
20 ma nonyiso kuom Kristo kane ochiere oa kuom joma otho, mi omiyo obedo e bade ma korachwich e polo,
Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
21 kuma oyombo loch duto gi teko gi telo gi nyalo kod nyinge duto minyalo chiw ok e ndaloni kende to kata e ndalo mabiro. (aiōn g165)
Far above all principality, and authority, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: (aiōn g165)
22 To Nyasaye noketo gik moko duto e bwo tiende, kendo nomiyo obedo wi kanisa;
And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the Assembly,
23 ma en ringre Kristo. En e Jal mapongʼo kendo romo gik moko duto.
Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.
