14 Elisha nopenjo Gehazi niya, “Angʼo ma onego timne?” Gehazi nodwoke niya, “Oonge wuowi kendo chwore bende oseti.”
So Elisha said, “What can we do for her, then?” Gehazi answered, “Indeed, she has no son, and her husband is old.”
15 Eka Elisha nokone niya, “Luonge.” Omiyo noluonge mochungʼ e wangʼ dhoot.
So Elisha answered, “Call her.” When he had called her, she stood in the door.

Elisha said, “At this time of year, in one year's time, you will be holding a son.” She said, “No, my master and man of God, do not lie to your servant.”
17 Dhakono nomako ich kendo kane ochopo higa machielo e kinde machal kamano, nonywolo wuowi mana kaka Elisha nowachone.
But the woman conceived and gave birth to a son at the same time in the following year, as Elisha had said to her.

She called to her husband, and said, “Please send me one of the servants and one of the donkeys so that I may hurry to the man of God and then come back.”
23 To nopenje niya, “Angʼo momiyo idwaro dhi ire kawuono, to pok ochopo Sawo mar Dwe Manyien kata Sabato?” En to nodwoke niya, “Onge rach moro.”
Her husband said, “Why do you want to go to him today? It is not a new moon nor a Sabbath.” She replied, “It will be all right.”
24 Dhakono nosembo pundano kendo nowachone jatichne niya, “Tel nyima kendo kik irita makmana kawachoni.”
Then she saddled a donkey and said to her servant, “Drive on quickly; do not slow down for me unless I say so.”

Please run to meet her and say to her, 'Is everything alright with you and with your husband and child?'” She answered, “It is alright.”
27 To kane ochopo ir ngʼat Nyasaye e got, nopodho e tiende, Gehazi ne obiro gole kanyo, to ngʼat Nyasaye nokwero Gehazi niya, Weye! En kod lit e chunye, makmana Jehova Nyasaye osepandona wachni kendo ok osenyisa gima omiyo.
When she came to the man of God at the mountain, she caught hold of his feet. Gehazi came near to thrust her away but the man of God said, “Leave her alone, for she is very upset, and Yahweh has hidden the problem from me, and has told me nothing.”
28 Dhakono nopenje niya, “Ruodha, bende dine akwayie nyathi ma wuowi? Donge ne akweri ni kik imiya abed gi geno?”
Then she said, “Did I ask you for a son, my master? Did I not say, 'Do not deceive me'?”
29 Eka Elisha nokone Gehazi niya, “Ngʼwan lepi, kaw ludha kendo ichak wuoth. Kik imos ngʼato angʼata miromogo e yo. Kichopo to iriw ludhani e lela wangʼ nyathi.”
Then Elisha said to Gehazi, “Dress for travel and take my staff in your hand. Go to her home. If you meet any man, do not greet him, and if anyone greets you, do not answer him. Lay my staff on the child's face.”
30 To min nyathi nowacho kama, “Akwongʼora gi nying Jehova Nyasaye kod nyingi iwuon ni ok anaweyi.” Omiyo noa malo moluwo dhakono.
But the mother of the child said, “As Yahweh lives, and as you live, I will not leave you.” So Elisha arose and followed her.

Gehazi hurried on ahead of them and laid the staff on the child's face, but the child did not speak or hear. So then Gehazi returned to meet Elisha and told him saying, “The child has not awakened.”

Then Elisha came again to Gilgal. There was famine in the land, and the sons of the prophets were sitting before him. He said to his servant, “Put the large pot on the fire and cook stew for the sons of the prophets.”
39 Achiel kuom jonabigo nodhi ngʼweto e pewe ma giyudo alode makech kod mzabibu ma ok nyal cham; kendo nochoko olembe mage motingʼogi e lawe. Kane odwogo nongʼadogi moketogi ei aguch tedo, kata kamano onge ngʼama nongʼeyo ni gin angʼo.

43 Jatichne nopenjo niya, “Ere kaka daket chiemo matin-gi ne ji mia achiel?” Elisha nomedo mana wachone niya, “Mi ji chiemo mondo ocham. Nimar Jehova Nyasaye wacho kama: ‘Gibiro chiemo kendo chiemo moko biro dongʼ.’”
His servant said, “What, should I set this before a hundred men?” But Elisha said, “Give this to the people, so they can eat, because Yahweh says, 'They will eat and will have some left.'”
44 Eka ne omiyogi chiemogo, negichamo ma giweyo moko kodongʼ kaluwore gi wach Jehova Nyasaye.
So his servant set it before them; they ate, and left some remaining, just as the word of Yahweh promised.
