2 Jo-Korintho 1
1 An Paulo, jaote mar Kristo Yesu kuom dwaro mar Nyasaye; kod owadwa Timotheo, Ne kanisa Nyasaye man Korintho, kaachiel gi jomaler duto man Akaya:
Paul an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, to the church of God which is at Corinth, and all the saints that are in Achaia:
2 Ngʼwono gi kwe moa kuom Nyasaye Wuonwa kod Ruoth Yesu Kristo obed kodu.
grace be to you, and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
3 Duongʼ obed ni Nyasaye ma Wuon Ruodhwa Yesu Kristo, kendo ma Wuon ngʼwono kendo Nyasach Loch duto,
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and God of all consolation; who comforteth us in all our affliction,
4 en ema olochonwa e chandruok duto mamakowa, mondo wabed gi nyalo mar hoyo joma moko manie chandruok, ka wahoyogi gi hoch ma Nyasaye osehoyowago wan wawegi.
that we may be able to comfort those, that are in any trouble, by the consolation wherewith we ourselves are comforted by God.
5 Nikech, mana kaka wan e achiel gi Kristo e sandruok duto mane oneno, e kaka wan kode e hoch mochiwo.
For as the sufferings for the sake of Christ abound on us, so our consolation by Christ doth also abound.
6 Ka isandowa, to mano timorenwa mondo uyud hoch kod warruok; to ka wayudo hoch, to en mana ni mondo Nyasaye okonyu mondo udhil gi sand ma wan bende wayudo.
And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is wrought out by the patient enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or if we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation.
7 Kendo geno marwa kuomu ogurore motegno; nikech wangʼeyo ni kaka uyudo sand kodwa e kaka uyudo hoch kodwa.
And our hope is firm concerning you, knowing that as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so also of the consolation.
8 Jowete, ok wadwar mondo ubed ka ukia, kaka ne waneno masiche mapek e piny Asia. Ne oyie kuomwa masiche madongo kendo mapek moingowa tingʼo mine wajok gibedo mangima.
For we would not have you ignorant, brethren, concerning our affliction which befel us in Asia, that we were exceedingly pressed above our strength, so that we despaired even of life:
9 Chutho, ne wawinjo e chunywa ka gima nosengʼadnwa buch tho. To magi notimorenwa mondo waket genowa kuom Nyasaye ma chiero joma otho, to ok kuomwa wawegi.
but we had the sentence of death within ourselves, that we might not trust in ourselves, but in God who raiseth the dead:
10 En ema noseresowa e dho tho malich kamano kendo obiro resowa. Kuome waseketoe genowa ni pod obiro resowa,
who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver, in whom we trust that He will yet deliver us:
11 ka umedo konyowa gi lemo maru. Mano nomi ji mangʼeny nodwokne Nyasaye erokamano kuom gweth momiyowa, kodwoko lemo mag ji mangʼeny.
you also assisting by prayer for us, that the favor obtained for us by the prayers of many might be thankfully acknowledged by many on our account.
12 Koro ma e sunga marwa: Chunywa miyowa ratiro ni wasedak e pinyni, to moloyo e winjruok marwa kodu, ka waluoro Nyasaye kendo ka wawuotho e ler mar adier. Ok wasedak kamano nikech waluwo rieko mar pinyni, to nikech ngʼwono mar Nyasaye.
For this is our rejoicing, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and pious sincerity, not with carnal wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world, and especially towards you.
13 Nikech ok wandiknu gik matek ma ok unyal somo mi uwinj tiendgi. Omiyo ageno ni,
For we write no other things to you, but what ye own and acknowledge, and I hope ye will always acknowledge.
14 mana kaka koro usengʼeyowa moromo, e kaka ubiro medo ngʼeyowa chuth, mondo uchop e okangʼ munyalo sungoru nikech wan, mana kaka wan bende wabiro sungore nikech un e odiechieng Ruoth Yesu.
As ye have acknowledged us in part, that we are your boasting, as ye also are ours, in the day of the Lord Jesus.
15 Nikech ne an-gi ratiro kuom wachni, ne achano mar limou mokwongo mondo ne uyud gweth manyadiriyo.
And in this confidence I had a mind to come to you first, (that ye might have a second benefit, ) and to pass by you into Macedonia;
16 Ne achano mondo alimu kane anie wuodha adhi Makedonia, bende ne achano rawo iru ka aa kuno, mondo ayud kony kuomu e wuodha madhi Judea.
and then to come to you again from Macedonia, and by you to be forwarded on my way to Judea.
17 Kane achano kamano, uparo nine atimo kamano ka atugo? Koso uparo ni aloso chenrona ka japiny, ma anyalo kiko wach ka ayie niya, “Ee, Ee” kendo achako akwer ni “Ooyo, Ooyo?”
Now when I intended this, was I chargeable with levity? or what I purpose, do I purpose from carnal motives, that with me there should be yea, yea, and then no, no?
18 Kaka Nyasachwa en ja-adiera, wach ma wasebedo ka wawacho kodu ok en “Ee” gi “Ooyo.”
But the faithful God, He knows, that our word to you was not yes and no.
19 Nikech Yesu Kristo, Wuod Nyasaye, mane wayalonu wachne, wan gi Sila gi Timotheo, ne ok en “ee” gi “ooyo” to osebedo “ee” kinde duto,
For Jesus Christ the Son of God, who was preached among you by us, even by me, and Silvanus, and Timothy, was not yea and nay,
20 nikech singruok ma Nyasaye osetimo kodwa duto kar rombgi gin, “Ee kuom Kristo.” Mano emomiyo kwamiyo Nyasaye duongʼ kwalamo e nying Kristo to wawacho niya, “Amin.”
but was yea in Him, (for all the promises of God are in Him yea, and in Him amen, ) to the glory of God by us:
21 To Nyasaye owuon ema osemiyo un kod wan wachungʼ motegno kuom Kristo. En ema osewirowa,
but He that establisheth us as well as you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God; who hath also sealed us,
22 mi oketo kido kuomwa manyiso ni wan joge bende oseketo Roho mare e chunywa kaka singo mar gima biro.
and given us the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.
23 Aluongo Nyasaye mondo obed janeno mara, ka anyisou ni ne ok aduogo Korintho mana mondo omi kik akelnu kuyo.
But I call God to witness on my soul, that to spare you I came not as yet to Corinth:
24 Ok wawach kamano nikech watemo bedo gi teko kuom yie maru, to watiyo kodu kaachiel mondo uchungʼ motegno e yie maru ka umor.
not that we are lords over your faith, but are helpers of your joy: for by faith ye stand.
