2 Jo-Korintho 9
1 Onge tiende mondo andiknu kendo kuom kony monego oor ni jo-Nyasaye.
Now concerning the relief intended for the saints, it is superfluous for me to write to you:
2 Angʼeyo ni uikoru konyo, kendo asepwoyou ni jo-Makedonia, ka anyisogi ni owete man Akaya osebedo moikore konyo chakre higa mokalo kendo ramo maru osejiwo thothgi.
for I know your readiness of mind, which I boast of concerning you to the Macedonians, that Achaia was ready a year ago; and your zeal hath excited many.
3 Koro ee aoro owetegi mondo pwochwa kuomu kuom wachni kik lokre mana weche manono; to mondo giyudu kuikoru mana kaka ne asewachonegi.
But I have sent the brethren, that our boasting of you might not become vain in this respect, but that ye might be ready, as I had said:
4 Nono to, ka jo-Makedoniagi obiro koda moyudo ka ok uikoru, wiwa dikuodi, ka ok awuoyo kuom wichkuot ma un bende duyudi, nikech geno maduongʼ ma waseketo kuomu.
least if the Macedonians should come with me, and find you unprepared, we should be ashamed (not to say you also) in this confident boasting.
5 Kuom mano, ne aneno ni ber mondo ajiw owetegi mondo olimu chon mondo utiek chenro duto mag chiwo mag ngʼwono mane usesingoru ni ubiro chiwo. Kamano, ka abiro to anayud ka chiwo maru mar ngʼwono oikore, kendo mano nonyis ni uchiwe gi ngʼwono, to ok kuom achuna.
Therefore I thought it necessary to exhort the brethren to go first to you, and before our coming to collect your bounty beforementioned, that it may be ready, as of munificence, and not of force.
6 Paruru wachni: Ngʼat mochwoyo kodhi manok kayo cham manok, to ngʼat mochwoyo kothe mangʼeny kayo cham mangʼeny.
But this I say, He that soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he that soweth bountifully shall also reap bountifully.
7 Ngʼato ka ngʼato mondo ochiw kaka chunye oyiero, ma ok oywago angʼe, kata nikech ochune, nimar Nyasaye ohero ngʼat ma chiwone ka mor.
Let every one give as he chuses in his own heart; not with reluctance, or constraint: for God loveth a chearful giver.
8 To Nyasaye nyalo miyo ubed gi gweth mogundho, mondo kinde duto ubed gi gik moko duto munyalo konyorugo un uwegi, kod mamoko malangʼ munyalo konyogo joma moko.
And God is able to make all grace abound towards you; that having always all sufficiency in every thing, ye may abound in every good work:
(as it is written, "He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor, his righteousness continueth for ever." (aiōn g165)
10 Koro Jal machiwo kodhi ne jachwoyo kendo machiwo chiemo michamo biro chiwonu kendo medonu nyadi mangʼeny kodhi michwoyo kendo obiro miyo timu makare medore.
And may He, who supplieth seed to the sower, and giveth bread for food, furnish and multiply your sowing, and increase the fruits of your bounty: )
11 Obiro miyo udok jo-mwandu e yore duto, mondo ubed mangʼwon kinde duto, kendo mondo ji mangʼeny odwok erokamano ni Nyasaye kuom mich mane watero nigi koa kuomu.
being in every thing enriched to all liberality, which produceth through us thanksgiving to God.
12 Nikech tich ma utimo ok chop mana dwaro jo-Nyasaye kende, to bende omiyo ji dwoko erokamano ne Nyasaye nikech kony ma giyudo.
For the ministration of this service not only supplieth the wants of the saints, but aboundeth also, through many thanksgivings, to the glory of God.
13 Kuom nyiso ni uchungʼ kodwa e tijni, umiyo Nyasaye duongʼ nikech mano nyiso ni umako chik mar Injili mar Kristo mwalando, kuom ngʼwono mane omiyo uyie pogo kodgi giu, kaachiel gi jomoko bende.
(While from the experience of this ministration they glorify God for your professed subjection to the gospel of Christ, and the liberality of your communication to them, and to all men.)
14 Omiyo gibiro lamonu Nyasaye, ka chunygi otwere kodu, kuom ngʼwono mogundho ma Nyasaye osemiyou.
And in their prayer for you, who long after you because of the transcendent grace of God towards you.
15 Wagouru erokamano ne Nyasaye kuom michne maduongʼ mokalo apima!
