< 2 Jo-Korintho 4 >

1 Emomiyo, ka koro Nyasaye osekechowa momiyowa tijni mondo watim, chunywa ok nyosre.
Therefore seeing we have this ministry, even as we obtained mercy, we do not faint.
2 Wasekwedo timbe malingʼ-lingʼ mag miriambo makwodo wich, ok wakonyre gi wuond, bende ok wagaj wach Nyasaye, to wawuotho e ler mar adiera kendo wachiwore ni ji duto, mondo chunygi orwakwa e nyim Nyasaye.
But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by the manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.
3 Kapo ni Injili mwayalo ogengʼore, to ogengʼore mana ni joma olal.
Even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing;
4 Joma kamago otamore yie nikech nyasach pinyni osedino pachgi mondo kik gine ler mar Injili manyiso duongʼ mar Kristo, ma en e kido mar Nyasaye. (aiōn g165)
in whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, so they would not see the light of the glorious gospel of Messiah, who is the image of God. (aiōn g165)
5 Nikech ok wayal wach kuomwa wawegi, to wayalo Yesu Kristo kaka Ruoth, to wan wawegi wan jotich magu kuom Yesu.
For we do not preach ourselves, but Messiah Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your slaves because of Jesus.
6 Nikech Nyasaye mane owacho niya, “Ler mondo orieny koa e mudho” ema osemiyo lerne omenyo chunywa, momiyowa ler mar ngʼeyo duongʼ Nyasaye mineno kuom Yesu Kristo.
For it is God, who spoke for light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Messiah.
7 To mwandu mawan-goni watingʼo e agulni mag lowo, mondo oyangre ni teko maduongʼ mawan-goni oa kuom Nyasaye, to ok oa kuomwa wawegi.
But we have this treasure in clay vessels, that the exceeding greatness of the power may be of God, and not from ourselves.
8 Pile weche matek olworowa koni gi koni, to ok chunywa ool; wadhier nono, to ok wajogi;
We are pressed on every side, yet not crushed; perplexed, yet not to despair;
9 isandowa, to ok jwangʼwa; idwaro negwa, to ok tiekwa.
pursued, yet not forsaken; struck down, yet not destroyed;
10 Kinde duto wawuotho ka watingʼo tho mar Yesu e ringrewa, mondo eka ngima mar Yesu onere e ringrewa.
always carrying in the body the death of Jesus, that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.
11 Wan ma wangima tho ochomowa kinde duto nikech wach Yesu, mondo omi ngima mar Yesu onere e ringrewa matho.
For we who live are always delivered to death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus may be revealed in our mortal flesh.
12 Omiyo koro wan tho tiyo kuomwa, to un, ngima tiyo kuomu.
So then death works in us, but life in you.
13 Muma wacho niya, “Ne ayie emomiyo ne awuoyo.” Gi chuny mar yie machalre, wan bende wayie kendo wawuoyo,
But having the same spirit of faith, according to that which is written, "I believed, and therefore I spoke." We also believe, and therefore also we speak;
14 nikech wangʼeyo ni Jal mane ochiero Ruoth Yesu oa kuom joma otho biro chierowa wan bende gi Yesu, kendo obiro kelowa kaachiel gi un, e nyime.
knowing that he who raised the Lord Jesus will raise us also with Jesus, and will present us with you.
15 Magi duto timore mondo okonyu, mondo kaka ngʼwono medo chopo ni ji mangʼeny moloyo, e kaka ji mangʼeny dwoko erokamano ni Nyasaye, mondo Nyasaye oyud duongʼ.
For all things are for your sakes, that the grace, being multiplied through the many, may cause the thanksgiving to abound to the glory of God.
16 Emomiyo chunywa ok nyosre. Kata obedo ni ringrewa ma oko rumo kamano, to chunywa iloko manyien odiechiengʼ kodiechiengʼ.
Therefore we do not become discouraged, but even though our outer nature is wearing away, yet our inner nature is being renewed day by day.
17 Nikech chandruok mwayudo matindo kendo makadho piyo biro kelonwa duongʼ mosiko kendo moloyo chandruogego duto. (aiōnios g166)
For this momentary light affliction is working for us a far more exceeding and everlasting weight of glory; (aiōnios g166)
18 Omiyo ok wachom wengewa kuom gik mineno, to kuom gik ma ok ne. Nikech gik mineno gi wangʼ rumo, to gik ma ok ne siko nyaka chiengʼ. (aiōnios g166)
while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are everlasting. (aiōnios g166)
