< 1 Jo-Korintho 2 >
1 Kuom mano jowetena, kane abiro iru to ne ok abiro gi weche mamit kata gi rieko kayalonu matut wach ma lingʼ-lingʼ mar Nyasaye.
AND I, when I came to you, brethren, came not with superior excellence of discourse or wisdom, preaching unto you the gospel of God.
2 Nikech nangʼado wach e chunya ni kik angʼe gimoro amora machielo makmana Yesu Kristo kod gur mare.
For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ and him crucified.
3 Ne abiro iru gi nyawo kod luoro, kendo ka denda duto tetni.
And in weakness, and in fear, and in much timidity, was I among you.
4 Kane awuoyo kodu kendo ayalonu, to ne ok akonyora gi weche mamit kata mariek maywayo ji, to teko mar Roho ema onyisou ni wach mane ayalonu ne en adier
And my conversation and my preaching was not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but with demonstration of the Spirit, and of power:
5 mondo yieu kik gurre kuom rieko dhano, to ogurre mana kuom teko Nyasaye.
that your faith might not stand on the wisdom of men, but on the power of God.
6 Kata kamano, wayalo rieko ni joma otegno, to ok rieko mag tiengʼni, kata mag ruodhi mandalogi, mabiro lal nono. (aiōn )
But we speak wisdom among the perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the rulers of this world, who are destroying themselves: (aiōn )
7 Ooyo, wawuoyo kuom rieko mopondo mar Nyasaye, ma en rieko mosebedo kopandi kendo mane Nyasaye oikonwa nyaka aa chakruok piny mondo wayud duongʼ. (aiōn )
but we speak the wisdom of God, which had been hid in mystery, which God predestined before the worlds were, for our glory: (aiōn )
8 Jotend pinyni kata achiel ok nowinjo tiend rieko mwayaloni, nikech ka dine giwinje, to ok dine giguro Ruodh Duongʼ. (aiōn )
which none of the rulers of this world have known: for if they had known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. (aiōn )
9 To en mana kaka ondiki niya, “Onge wangʼ moseneno, kata it mosewinjo, kata paro mosengʼeyo gima Nyasaye oseiko ne joma ohere.”
But, as it is written, “The things which eye hath not seen, and ear hath not heard, and that have not entered into the heart of man, these hath God prepared for those who love him.”
10 Wan to Nyasaye oseelonwa tiend wachne mopondo kuom teko mar Roho mare. Roho Maler fwenyo gik moko duto, nyaka weche matut mag Nyasaye.
But to us hath God revealed them by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth out all things, even the depths of God.
For who among men knoweth the things of man, save the spirit of man which is in him? so also the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
12 Roho mwaseyudo ok en roho mar piny, to en Roho moa kuom Nyasaye, mamiyo wangʼeyo mich ma Nyasaye osemiyowa.
Now we have not received the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is from God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
13 Mago e weche mwawuoyo kuomgi, ka ok wakonyre gi weche mopuonjwa gi rieko dhano, to wakonyore gi weche ma Roho ema opuonjo, kwalero adiera mag chuny gi weche mag chuny.
Which things also we speak, not in discourses framed by human wisdom, but taught by the Spirit of God; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
14 To ngʼat ringruok ok nyal rwako gik moa kuom Roho mar Nyasaye, nikech onenogi kaka fuwo kendo ok onyal winjo tiendgi, nikech iwinjogi kuom Roho.
But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are folly to him: and he cannot know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
15 Ngʼat man-gi Roho nono gik moko duto, to en to onge ngʼama none.
But the spiritual man discerneth indeed all things, though himself is discernible by no man.
16 “Koso en ngʼa mosengʼeyo pach Jehova Nyasaye ma dingʼadne rieko?” Wan to wan gi pach Kristo.
For who hath known the mind of the Lord? who will instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
