ଲୁକ୍ 23
1 ୧ ତାର୍ ପଚେ ବିଚାର୍ କର୍ବା ବଡ୍ ସବାର୍ ଜାଗାଇ ବସିରଇଲା ସବୁ ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ଉଟିକରି ଜିସୁକେ ପିଲାତର୍ ଲଗେ ଦାରିଗାଲାଇ ।
AND the whole multitude of them rising up, led him to Pilate,
2 ୨ ସେ ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ଜିସୁକେ ନିନ୍ଦା କରି ଏନ୍ତି କଇବାର୍ ବସ୍ଲାଇ, “ଏ ଲକ୍ ଆମର୍ ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ବୁଲ୍ ସିକିଆ ଦେଇତେ ରଇଲା ଆରି କାଇସର୍ ସମ୍ରାଟ୍କେ ସିସ୍ତୁ ଦିଆସ୍ ନାଇ ବଲି ସିକାଇଲା ବେଲେ ତାକେ ଦାର୍ଲୁ । ଆରି ସେ ନିଜ୍କେ ମୁଇ ପର୍ମେସର୍ ବାଚି ପାଟାଇଲା ରାଜା କିରିସ୍ଟ ବଲି କଇଲାନି ।”
and began to accuse him, saying, We have found this fellow perverting the nation, and forbidding to pay tribute to Caesar; pretending that he himself is the King Messiah.
3 ୩ ସେଟାର୍ ପାଇ ପିଲାତ୍ ଜିସୁକେ ପାଚାର୍ଲା, “ତୁଇ କାଇ ଜିଉଦି ଲକ୍ମନର୍ ରାଜା କି?” ଜିସୁ ତାକେ କଇଲା, “ତମେତା କଇଲାସ୍ନି ।”
Then Pilate interrogated him, saying, Art thou the King of the Jews? And he answering said to him, Thou sayest so.
4 ୪ ତାର୍ ପଚେ ପିଲାତ୍ ମୁକିଅ ପୁଜାରିମନ୍କେ ଆରି ତେଇ ରଇଲା ସବୁ ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ କଇଲା, “ମୁଇ ଏ ଲକ୍ ଦସି ବଲି କାଇ ବୁଲ୍ ଦେକି ନାଇ ।”
Then said Pilate unto the chief priests and the multitudes, I find nothing culpable in this man.
5 ୫ ମାତର୍ ସେମନ୍ ତର୍କେତର୍ ଆଉଲିଅଇ କଇଲାଇ, “ତାର୍ ସିକିଆର୍ ଲାଗି ସେ ଜିଉଦାର୍ ସବୁବାଟର୍ ଲକ୍ମନର୍ ବିତ୍ରେ କଲି ଲାଗାଇଲାନି । ସେଟା, ସେ ଗାଲିଲିତେଇ ଆରାମ୍ କରି, ଏବେ ଇତି ଜାକ ଆଇଲା ଆଚେ ।”
But they were urgent, saying, He stirreth up the people, teaching through all Judea, beginning from Galilee even to this place.
When Pilate heard of Galilee, he asked whether the man were a Galilean?
7 ୭ ପିଲାତ୍ ଜିସୁକେ ଗାଲିଲି ଦେସର୍ ଲକ୍ ବଲି ଜାନି, ତାକେ ଗାଲିଲି ଦେସ୍ ସାସନ୍ କର୍ବା ଏରଦର୍ଲଗେ ପାଟାଇ ଦେଲା । କାଇକେ ବଇଲେ, ସେ ବେଲେ ଏରଦ୍ ମିସା ଜିରୁସାଲମେ ରଇଲା ।
And when he knew that he came out of Herod’s jurisdiction, he sent him to Herod, who was himself at Jerusalem in those days.
8 ୮ ଏରଦ୍ ଜିସୁକେ ଦେକି କରି ବେସି ସାର୍ଦା ଅଇଲା । କାଇକେ ବଇଲେ ଜିସୁର୍ ବିସଇ ଆଗ୍ତୁ ସୁନି ରଇଲା ଆରି ତାର୍ ମୁଆଟେ କାବା ଅଇଜିବା କାମ୍ ଦେକ୍ବାକେ ମନ୍ କର୍ତେରଇଲା ।
Now when Herod saw Jesus, he was vastly delighted: for he had been long desirous to see him, because he had heard many things of him; and he hoped to see some miracle wrought by him.
9 ୯ ସେଟାର୍ ପାଇ ଏରଦ୍ ତାକେ କାଇ କାଇ ବିସଇ ପାଚାର୍ବାର୍ ଦାର୍ଲା । ମାତର୍ ଜିସୁ ତାକେ କାଇବଲି ମିସା କଏ ନାଇ ।
And he put a variety of questions to him; but he made him no reply.
10 ୧୦ ସେଡିକି ବେଲେ ତେଇ ଟିଆଅଇରଇଲା ମୁକିଅ ପୁଜାରିମନ୍ ଆରି ନିୟମ୍ ସିକାଉମନ୍ ସବୁ ମିସି କରି ଜିସୁର୍ ବିରୁଦେ ଆଉଲିଅଇ କଇବାର୍ ଦାର୍ଲାଇ ।
And the chief priests and the scribes stood up vehemently accusing him.
11 ୧୧ ଏରଦ୍ ଆରି ତାର୍ ସନିଅମନ୍ ଜିସୁକେ କିଜାଇଲାଇ ଆରି ନିନ୍ଦା କଲାଇ । ଜିସୁକେ ରାଜାମନ୍ ପିନ୍ଦ୍ବା ନିମାନ୍ ପଚିଆ ପିନ୍ଦାଇ ପିଲାତ୍ଟାନେ ପାଟାଇ ଦେଲାଇ ।
Then Herod with his guards treated him with contempt, and in derision clothed him in a splendid robe, and sent him back to Pilate.
And Pilate and Herod the same day became friends together: for they had previously been at enmity with each other.
13 ୧୩ ତାର୍ପଚେ ପିଲାତ୍ ମୁକିଅ ପୁଜାରିମନ୍କେ, ନେତାମନ୍କେ ଆରି ସବୁ ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ଗଟେକ୍ଟାନେ ରୁଣ୍ଡାଇକରି ସେମନ୍କେ କଇଲା,
Then Pilate, convoking the chief priests and the rulers and the people,
14 ୧୪ ଏ ଲକ୍ ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ସର୍କାରର୍ ବିରୁଦେ ବୁଲ୍ ସିକିଆ ଦେଲାନି ବଲି ମର୍ ଲଗେ ଆନିଆଚାସ୍ । ଆରି ଦେକା ମୁଇ ତମର୍ ମୁଆଟେ ତାକେ ପରିକା କଲି, ତାର୍ ବିରଦେ ତମେ ସବୁଲକ୍ ନିନ୍ଦାକଲାଟା ମିଲେନାଇ ।
said unto them, Ye have brought this man to me, as one who perverteth the people: and lo! on examining him before you, I have found nothing culpable in this man, respecting the charges ye bring against him:
15 ୧୫ ଏରଦ୍ ମିସା ତାର୍ଟାନେ କାଇ ବୁଲ୍କଲାଟା ନ ଦେକି ଆମ୍କେ ବାଉଡାଇଦେଲା ଆଚେ । ଏ ଲକ୍ ମରନ୍ ଡଣ୍ଡ୍ ପାଇବାପାରା ବୁଲ୍ କାମ୍ କରେ ନାଇ ।
nor Herod neither: for I referred you to him; and, lo, nothing is done to this man, as if he deserved death.
I will therefore, after scourging, discharge him.
17 ୧୭ ଆରି ଦେକା ସବୁ ବର୍ସେ ରକିଆ ପାଇବା ପରବ୍ ବେଲାଇ ଜିଉଦି ଜାତିକେ ସନ୍ମାନ୍ ଦେବାକେ ଗଟେକ୍ ବନ୍ଦିକେ ମୁକ୍ଲାଇ ଦେବା ନିୟମ୍ ରଇଲା ।
(Now he held it necessary to release one to them at the feast.)
Then the whole multitude set up a cry, saying, Away with this fellow, and release unto us Barabbas!
19 ୧୯ ଏ ବାର୍ବା ବଲ୍ବା ଲକ୍, ସର୍କାରର୍ ବିରଦେ ବୁଲ୍ କରିରଇଲା ଆରି ଗଟେକ୍ ଲକ୍କେ ମାରି ରଇଲା । ସେଟାର୍ପାଇ ତାକେ ବନ୍ଦି କରିରଇଲାଇ ।
(who for a certain sedition raised in the city, and for murder, had been cast into prison.)
20 ୨୦ ମାତର୍ ପିଲାତ୍ ଜିସୁକେ ଚାଡିଦେବାକେ ମନ୍କରି ତାର୍ ଲଗେ କାଇ ବୁଲ୍କଲାଟା ଡିସେନାଇ ବଲି ସେମନ୍କେ ତର୍କେ ତର୍ ବୁଜାଇଲା ।
Again therefore Pilate called out to them, desirous to see Jesus at liberty.
But they clamoured the more, saying, Crucify, crucify him.
22 ୨୨ ତାର୍ପଚେ ପିଲାତ୍ ସେମନ୍କେ ଆଗେ ଦୁଇତର୍ ପାଚାର୍ଲାଟା ଚାଡି ଆରିତରେକ୍ ସମାନ୍ଟାସେ କଇଲା, “କାଇକେ? ସେ କାଇ ବୁଲ୍ କଲାଆଚେ ଜେ? ତାର୍ଟାନେ କାଇମିସା ମରନ୍ ପାଇବା ଡଣ୍ଡ୍ ଏତ୍କି ଦସ୍ ମିଲେ ନାଇ । ଏନ୍ତି ବଇଲେ ମିସା ତାକେ କର୍ଡା ମାଡ୍ ମାରି ଚାଡି ଦେବି ।”
Then the third time he said to them, What evil hath this man done? I have found nothing deserving death in him: I will therefore, after scourging, discharge him.
23 ୨୩ ମାତର୍ ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ଆରି ବେସି ଆଉଲିଅଇ ତର୍କେ ତର୍ “ତାକେ କୁର୍ସେ ଚଗାଇ ମରାଆ!” ବଲି ବାଦିଅ କଲାଇ । ସାରାସାରି ପଚେ ସେମନ୍ ଆଉଲିଅଇଲାଟା ଜିତ୍ଲା ।
But they were instant with the most clamorous vociferations, soliciting that he might be crucified. And their clamours, and those of the chief priests, bore him down.
24 ୨୪ ତାର୍ ପଚେ ପିଲାତ୍ ଲକ୍ମନର୍ ଜାଇଟା କର୍ବାକେ ମନ୍ କଲାଇ, ସେ ଇସାବେ ଜିସୁକେ ମରନର୍ ଡଣ୍ଡ୍ ଦେବାକେ ରାଜି ଅଇଲା ।
Then Pilate decreed that their petition should be granted.
25 ୨୫ ପଚେ ପିଲାତ୍ ଲକ୍ମନର୍ କଇବା ଇସାବେ, ବାର୍ବା ନାଉଁର୍ ଲକ୍ ଜେ କି, ଆଗ୍ତୁ ଗଟେକ୍ ଲକ୍କେ ମରାଇରଇଲା ଆରି ସର୍କାରର୍ ବିରୁଦେ ବୁଲ୍କାମ୍ କରି ବନ୍ଦି ଅଇରଇଲା, ତାକେ ମୁକ୍ଲାଇଲା । ଜିସୁକେ ତାକର୍ ମନ୍କଲା ଇସାବେ ଡଣ୍ଡ୍ ଦେବାକେ ସର୍ପିଦେଲା ।
Then released he to them him who for sedition and murder had been cast into prison; but he gave up Jesus to their will.
26 ୨୬ ସନିଅମନ୍ ଜିସୁକେ ଦାରିଜିବା ବେଲେ କୁରିଣିୟ ସିମନ୍ ନାଉଁର୍ ଲକ୍କେ ବେଟ୍ପାଇଲାଇ । ଜେ କି ଗାଏଁଅନି ଜିରୁସାଲାମେ ଆଇତେରଇଲା । ତାକେ ଅଟ୍କାଇକରି ଜିସୁ ବଇଲା କୁର୍ସ ଲାଦିଦେଲାଇ ଆରି ତାର୍ ପଚେ ଜିବାକେ ବାଦିଅ କଲାଇ ।
And as they led him out, laying hold on one Simon, a Cyrenian, who was coming from the country, they laid on him the cross, to carry after Jesus.
27 ୨୭ ଆରି ବେସି ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ଜିସୁର୍ ପଚେ ପଚେ ଜାଇତେ ରଇଲାଇ । ତେଇ କେତେଟା ବୁକେ ପିଟିଅଇ କାନ୍ଦ୍ବା ମାଇଜିମନ୍ ମିସା ରଇଲାଇ ।
And a great multitude of the people and of women followed him, who also beat their breasts and lamented him bitterly.
28 ୨୮ ମାତର୍ ଜିସୁ ସେମନର୍ ବାଟେ ପାସ୍ଲିକରି କଇଲା, ଏ ଜିରୁସାଲମ୍ ଗଡର୍ ମାଇଜିମନ୍, ମର୍ପାଇ କାନ୍ଦା ନାଇ । ମାତର୍ ନିଜର୍ ପାଇ ଆରି ନିଜର୍ ପିଲାମନର୍ ପାଇ କାନ୍ଦା ।
But Jesus turning to them, said, Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for me, but for yourselves, and for your children.
29 ୨୯ କାଇକେବଇଲେ ଦେକା “ଜନ୍ ମାଇଜି ବାଞ୍ଜି ଆରି କେବେ ମିସା ଗାଗ୍ଡେ ନ ଅଇକରି ଆଚତ୍, ଆରି ଜେ କି କେବେ ମିସା ଦୁଦ୍ କୁଆଏ ନାଇ, ସେମନ୍ କେଡେକ୍ ନିକ କରମର୍ ଲକ୍!” ବଲି କଇବା ଦିନ୍ ଆଇଲାନି ।
For, behold, the days are coming, in which they shall say, Blessed are the barren, and the wombs which have not borne, and the breasts which never suckled.
30 ୩୦ ସେବେଲାଇ ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ଡଙ୍ଗର୍ମନ୍କେ କଇବାର୍ ଦାର୍ବାଇ, ଆମର୍ ଉପ୍ରେ ଅଦ୍ରି ଦିଆସ୍ । କୁପ୍ଲିମନ୍କେ କଇବାର୍ ଦାର୍ବାଇ, ଆମ୍କେ ତପିଦିଆସ୍ ।
Then shall they begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us! and to the hills, Cover us!
31 ୩୧ କାଇକେ ବଇଲେ ଗଚ୍ କାଁଚାପତ୍ରିଆ ରଇଲା ବେଲେ, ଜଦି ଏ ସବୁ ଗଟ୍ନା ଗଟ୍ଲାନି ବଇଲେ ସେଟା ସୁକିଗାଲେ ଆରି କାଇଟା ଅଇସି ।
For if they do all these things with the green wood, what will be done with the dry?
Now there were two other persons, malefactors, led out with him to be executed.
33 ୩୩ ଆରି ସେମନ୍ କପ୍ରି ନାଉଁର୍ ଗଟେକ୍ ଜାଗାଇ କେଟିକରି ଜିସୁକେ ଆରି ଚର୍ମନ୍କେ, ତାର୍ ଡେବ୍ରି ବାଟେ ଗଟେକ୍ ଲକ୍କେ ଆରି ଉଜାବାଟେ ଗଟେକ୍ ଲକ୍କେ ଆତେ, ପାଦେ କୁଟିମାରି ଟେକିଦେଲାଇ ।
And when they came to a place called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, the one on the right hand, and the other on the left.
34 ୩୪ ସେବେଲା ଜିସୁ କଇଲା, “ଏ ବାବା ଏମନ୍କେ କେମା କରିଦିଆସ୍, କାଇକେ ବଇଲେ ଏମନ୍ କାଇଟା କଲାଇନି ସେଟା ନାଜାନତ୍ ।” ସେମନ୍ ଜିସୁର୍ ପଚିଆ ନେଇ କାକେ ମିଲ୍ସି ବଲି କେଡ୍ ପୁଟାଇଲାଇ ।
And Jesus said, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. Then dividing his garments, they cast the lot.
35 ୩୫ ସବୁ ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ଟିଆଅଇ ଦେକ୍ବାବେଲେ ଜିଉଦି ନେତାମନ୍ ଜିସୁକେ କିଜାଇକରି ଆଁସ୍ଲାଇ ଆରି କଇଲାଇ “ସେ ବିନ୍ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ରକିଆ କଲା, ଜଦି ତୁଇ ପର୍ମେସର୍ ବାଚିପାଟାଇଲା କିରିସ୍ଟ ବଇଲେ ନିଜ୍କେ ରକିଆ କର ।”
And the people stood looking on. And the rulers also with them derided him, saying, He saved others; let him save himself, if this fellow is the Messiah, the elect of God.
And the soldiers also insulted him, coming and offering him vinegar,
and saying, if thou art the King of the Jews, save thyself.
And there was an inscription written over him in Greek, Roman, and Hebrew characters, THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.
39 ୩୯ ତେଇ ବଡ୍ ବୁଲ୍ କରି କୁର୍ସେ ଚଗାଇଅଇରଇବା ଗଟେକ୍ ଲକ୍ ଜିସୁକେ ନିନ୍ଦା କରି କଇଲା, “ତୁଇ ଜଦି ପର୍ମେସର ବାଚି ପାଟାଇଲା କିରିସ୍ଟ ରାଜା ଜିସୁ ବଇଲେ, ନିଜ୍କେ ରକିଆ କରି ଆମ୍କେ ମିସା ରକିଆ କର୍ ।”
Then one of the suspended malefactors blasphemed him, saying, If thou art the Messiah, save thyself and us.
40 ୪୦ ମାତର୍ ଆରି ଗଟେକ୍ ଲକ୍ ତାକେ ଦମ୍କାଇ କରି କଇଲା, “ତୁଇ କାଇ ପର୍ମେସର୍କେ ଡରୁସ୍ ନାଇ କି? ତୁଇ ମିସା ତାର୍ପାରା ସମାନ୍ ଡଣ୍ଡ୍ ପାଇଲୁସ୍ନି କି ନାଇ?
But the other addressing him, rebuked him, saying, Hast thou no fear of God, when thou art under the same condemnation?
And we indeed justly, for we receive deserved punishment for the crimes we have committed: but this man hath done nothing amiss.
And he said to Jesus, Remember me, Lord, when thou comest in thy kingdom.
And Jesus said to him. Verily I say unto thee, To-day thou shalt be with me in paradise.
44 ୪୪ ସେବେଲେ ଆଡ୍ବେଲା ଅଇରଇଲା । ଆରି ବେଲର୍ ଉଜଲ୍ ଜାଉଁଲିଜାଇକରି, ତିନ୍ ଗଁଟା ଜାକ ଗୁଲାଇ ଦେସ୍ ଆନ୍ଦାର୍ ଅଇଗାଲା
And it was about the sixth hour, and there was darkness over all the land until the ninth hour.
And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst.
46 ୪୬ ଆରି ଜିସୁ ଆଉଲିଅଇ କଇଲା, “ଏ ବାବା, ମର୍ ଆତ୍ମା ତକେ ସର୍ପିଦେଲିନି ।” ଏତ୍କି କଉ କଉ ତାର୍ ଜିବନ୍ ଚାଡିଗାଲା ।
And Jesus crying with a loud voice, said, Father, into thy hands I commit my spirit: and having said this, he expired.
47 ୪୭ ରମିୟ ସନିଅମନର୍ ସେନାପତି ଏ ଗଟ୍ନା ଦେକି, ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ମଇମା କରି କଇଲା, “ସତଇସେ ଏ ଗଟେକ୍ ଦରମ୍ ଲକ୍ ରଇଲା ।”
And the centurion observing what had come to pass, glorified God, saying, Verily this man was a righteous person.
48 ୪୮ ଆରି ଜନ୍ ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ଏ ଗଟ୍ନା ଦେକ୍ବାକେ ରୁଣ୍ଡିରଇଲାଇ ସେମନ୍ ସେଟା ସବୁ ଦେକି ଦୁକ୍କରି ବୁକେ ମାରିଅଇ ଗରେ ବାଅଡ୍ଲାଇ ।
And all the multitudes who had come together for this spectacle, when they saw the things which were done, beating their breasts, returned.
49 ୪୯ ମାତର୍ ଜିସୁର୍ ଚିନାର୍ଜାନାର୍ ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ଆରି ଗାଲିଲିଅନି ଆସି ତାର୍ ପଚ୍ପଚ୍ ଆଇତେରଇବା ମାଇଜିମନ୍ ଦୁରିକେ ଟିଆଅଇ ଏ ସବୁ ଦେକ୍ତେ ରଇଲାଇ ।
And all his acquaintance stood afar off, and the women which followed him from Galilee, beholding these things.
50 ୫୦ ଆରି ଦେକା, ଆରାମାତିଆ ଗଡର୍ ଜିଉଦିମନର୍ ନେତା ଜସେପ୍ ନାଉଁର୍ ଗଟେକ୍ ଦରମ୍ ଆରି ମର୍ଜିତାର୍ ଲକ୍ ରଇଲା । ସେ ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ରାଇଜ୍ ଆସ ବଲି ଜାଗିରଇଲା ।
And lo! a man named Joseph, being a member of the council, a good man, and a just;
51 ୫୧ ମାତର୍ ଆରାମାତିଆ ଗାଉଁର୍ ସେ ଲକ୍ ବଡ୍ସବାର୍ ଗଟେକ୍ ମେମର୍ ରଇଲେ ମିସା, ସେମନର୍ ନିଆଇ ଆରି କାମ୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ରାଜିଅଇ ନ ରଇଲା । ଆରି ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ରାଇଜ୍ ଜାଗ୍ତେରଇଲା ।
(who had not given his assent to their determination and deed; ) being of Arimathea, a city of the Jews: who himself also expected the coming of the kingdom of God.
He went in to Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus.
53 ୫୩ ଜିସୁର୍ ମଡ୍ କୁର୍ସେଅନି ଉତ୍ରାଇ ଉଲ୍ଉଲା ପଚିଆଇ ଗୁଡିଆଇକରି ଜେନ୍ତିକି କେବେ କାକେ ନ ସଙ୍ଗଇରଇଲା, ଗଟେକ୍ ରାଙ୍ଗ୍ନି କାଟି ତିଆର୍କରି ରଇଲା ପାଆରେ ନେଇ ସଙ୍ଗଇଲାଇ ।
And taking it down from the cross, he wrapped it in linen cloth, and laid it in a sepulchre hewn out of a rock, where none had ever yet lain.
And that was the preparation-day, and the sabbath’s twilight was approaching.
55 ୫୫ ଆରି ଗାଲିଲିଅନି ଜିସୁର୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ରଇଲା ମାଇଜିମନ୍ ଜସେପର୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ଜାଇକରି ପାଆର୍ ବିତ୍ରେ ଜିସୁର୍ ଗାଗଡ୍ କେନ୍ତି ସଙ୍ଗଇଲା ଆଚେ ବଲି ଦେକ୍ଲାଇ ।
Then the women also, his attendants, who had followed him out of Galilee, observed the sepulchre, and how his corpse was laid out.
56 ୫୬ ସେମନ୍ ବାଉଡିଜାଇ ବାସ୍ନା ଚିକନ୍ ଆରି ବାସ୍ନା ଦିନ୍ସୁ ତିଆର୍ କର୍ତେ ରଇଲାଇ । ସେ କାମ୍ ସାର୍ବାକେ ବିସ୍ରାମ୍ଦିନ୍ କେଟ୍ଲା । ଆରି ସେ ଦିନେ ମସାର୍ ନିୟମ୍ ଇସାବେ, ସେମନ୍ ବିସ୍ରାମ୍ କଲାଇ ।
And returning, they made preparation of aromatics and unguents; and they rested the sabbath-day, according to the commandment.
