ପେରିତ୍ 1
1 ୧ ସାର୍ଦାର୍ ତିଅପିଲ୍, ମର୍ ପର୍ତୁମ୍ ଲେକିରଇବା ଲୁକ୍ବଇଟାନେ ଆରାମେଅନି, ପର୍ମେସର୍ ତାକେ ସର୍ଗେ ନେବା ଦିନ୍ ଜାକ, ଜିସୁ କରିରଇବା ଆରି ସିକାଇରଇବା ସବୁ ବିସଇ ଲେକିରଇଲି ।
THE former treatise, Theophilus, I composed, concerning all things which Jesus began both to do and to teach,
until that day, when having given a charge to his apostles through the Holy Ghost, whom he had chosen, he was taken up:
3 ୩ ସେ ଦୁକ୍ କସ୍ଟ ଅଇଲାପଚେ, ସେମନ୍କେ ନିଜେ ବେସି ତର୍ ଦେକାଇଅଇଲା । ଚାଲିସ୍ ଦିନ୍ଜାକ ବିନ୍ ବିନ୍ ବେଲାଇ ଦେକାଇଅଇଲା । ମଲାତେଇଅନି ଉଟ୍ଲାଟା ସତ୍ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ଜାନାଇଲା । ସେମନ୍ ତାକେ ଦେକ୍ଲାଇ, ଆରି ସେ ସେମନର୍ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ରାଇଜ୍ ବିସଇନେଇ କାତା ଅଇଲା ।
to whom also he had shewed himself alive, after he had suffered, by many infallible proofs, during forty days being frequently seen by them, and speaking of the things which relate to the kingdom of God:
4 ୪ ତରେକ୍ ସେମନର୍ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ମିସିକରି କାଇବା ବେଲେ, ସେ ଏ ଆଦେସ୍ ଦେଲା, “ଜିରୁସାଲମ୍ ଚାଡାନାଇ । ମାତର୍ ଜନ୍ଟା ମର୍ ସରଗର୍ ବାବା, ଇନାମେ ଦେବିବଲି କଇଆଚେ, ସେଟା ନ ମିଲ୍ବା ଜାକ ଜାଗିରୁଆ ।
and assembling them together, commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the promise of the Father, which, said he, ye have heard from me.
5 ୫ କାଇକେବଇଲେ ଜଅନ୍ ପାନିତେଇ ଡୁବନ୍ ଦେଇରଇଲା, ମାତର୍ କେତେ ଦିନ୍ ବିତ୍ରେ ପର୍ମେସର୍ ତମ୍କେ ସୁକଲ୍ ଆତ୍ମାଇ ଡୁବନ୍ ଦେଇସି ।”
For John indeed baptised with water; but ye shall be baptised with the Holy Ghost not many days after the present.
6 ୬ ଦିନେକ୍ ପେରିତ୍ ସିସ୍ମନ୍ ଗଟେକ୍ତେଇ ରୁଣ୍ଡିରଇଲା ବେଲେ ଜିସୁକେ ପାଚାର୍ଲାଇ, “ମାପ୍ରୁ, ତମେ କାଇ ଏବେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର୍ ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ତାକର୍ ରାଇଜ୍ ଆରିତରେକ୍ ବାଉଡାଇ ଦେଇସୁ କି?”
They then accordingly assembling together, asked him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time reestablish the kingdom of Israel?
7 ୭ ଜିସୁ ସେମନ୍କେ କଇଲା, “ମର୍ ବାବା ତାର୍ ନିଜର୍ ଅଦିକାର୍ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ବେଲାଗଡି ଟିକ୍କରି ସଙ୍ଗଇ ଆଚେ । ଏ ସବୁ କେବେ ଗଟ୍ସି, ସେଟା ତମର୍ ଜାନ୍ବା ଦର୍କାର୍ ନାଇ ।
But he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times and the seasons, which the Father hath reserved under his own authority.
8 ୮ ମାତର୍ ସୁକଲ୍ ଆତ୍ମା ତମର୍ ଉପ୍ରେ ଉତର୍ଲେ, ତମେ ପୁରାପୁରୁନ୍ ବପୁ ଅଇସା ଆରି ଜିରୁସାଲମ୍, ଜିଉଦାର୍ ସବୁଟାନେ, ସମିରଣ୍ ଆରି ଜଗତର୍ ସାରାସାରି ଜାକ ମର୍ ନାଉଁ ଦାରି ସାକି ଅଇସା ।”
But ye shall receive power, when the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses for me, both in Jerusalem, and throughout all Judea, and Samaria, and unto the extremity of the earth.
9 ୯ ଏତ୍କି କାତା ସେମନ୍କେ କଇସାରାଇଲା ପଚେ, ସେମନ୍ ଜିସୁକେ ସର୍ଗେ ନେବାଟା ଦେକ୍ଲାଇ । ଗଟେକ୍ ଚେଲ୍କା ବାଦଲ୍ ଆସି ଡାବିଅଇଲାକେ ସେ ବାନା ଅଇଗାଲା । ଆରି ସେମନ୍ ତାକେ ଦେକି ନାପାର୍ଲାଇ ।
And as he was speaking these things, while they were looking upon him, he was taken up; and a cloud enveloping him hid him from their eyes.
10 ୧୦ ସେ ସର୍ଗେ ଗାଲାପଚେ ମିସା ସେମନ୍ ଆଁକି ମରାଇକରି ଉପ୍ରେ ସେ ଦେକ୍ତେ ରଇଲାଇ । ସେଡ୍କିବେଲେ ଏଦେ ଦେକା! ଦବ୍ ପଚିଆ ପିନ୍ଦ୍ଲା ଦୁଇ ଲକ୍, ସେମନର୍ ମୁଆଟେ ଆସି ଟିଆଅଇଲାଇ ।
And as they looked up earnestly into the heaven, while he was passing, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;
11 ୧୧ ଆରି କଇଲାଇ “ଏ ଗାଲିଲିର୍ ଲକ୍ମନ୍, ତମେ କାଇକେ ଇତି ଟିଆଅଇ ଆକାସେ ଦେକ୍ଲାସ୍ନି? ଏ ଜିସୁକେ ପର୍ମେସର୍ ତମର୍ଟାନେଅନି ସର୍ଗେ ନେଲା ଆଚେ । ସେ ସର୍ଗେ ଜେନ୍ତି ଜାଇରଇଲା, ସେନ୍ତାରିସେ ଦର୍ତନିତେଇ ଆଇବାଟା ଦେକ୍ସା ।”
who also said to them, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up to heaven? this Jesus, who hath been taken up from you into heaven, shall so come, in the same manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
12 ୧୨ ତାର୍ପଚେ ପେରିତ୍ ସିସ୍ମନ୍ ଜିତ୍ ପର୍ବତେଅନି ଜିରୁସାଲାମ୍ ବାଉଡି ଗାଲାଇ । ସେ ପର୍ବତ୍, ଜିରୁସାଲମ୍ ନଅରେଅନି ଗଟେକ୍ କିଲମିଟର୍ ଦୁର୍ ରଇଲା ।
Then they returned unto Jerusalem, from the mount called Olivet, which is near Jerusalem, about a sabbath-day’s journey distant.
13 ୧୩ ଜିରୁସାଲେମ୍ ନଅରେ ଜାଇକରି ସେମନ୍ ରଇବା ବାକ୍ରାଇ ପୁର୍ଲାଇ । ପିତର୍, ଜଅନ୍, ଜାକୁବ୍ ଆରି ତାର୍ ବାଇ ଆନ୍ଦ୍ରିୟ, ପିଲିପ୍, ତମା, ବାର୍ତଲମି, ମାତିଉ, ଆଲ୍ପିର୍ ପିଲା ଜାକୁବ୍, ଦେସ୍ ଆଲାଦ୍କର୍ବା ସିମନ୍ ଆରି ଜାକୁବର୍ ପିଲା ଜିଉଦା, ଏମନ୍ ରଇଲା ତେଇର୍ ପେରିତ୍ ସିସ୍ମନ୍ ।
And when they had arrived, they went up to an upper room, where abode Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James son of Alpheus, and Simon the zealous, and Jude brother to James.
14 ୧୪ ସେମନ୍ ତର୍କେତର୍ ଗଟେକ୍ ଦଲ୍ ଇସାବେ ପାର୍ତନା କର୍ବାକେ ରୁଣ୍ଡ୍ତେ ରଇଲାଇ । ଆରି ସେମନର୍ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ଜିସୁର୍ ଆୟା ମରିୟମ୍, ବିନ୍ ମାଇଜିମନ୍ ଆରି ଜିସୁର୍ ବାଇମନ୍ ମିସା ମିସ୍ତେରଇଲାଇ ।
These all persevered unanimously in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.
15 ୧୫ କେତେ ଦିନ୍ ଗାଲାପଚେ ପାକାପାକି ସଏ କଡେ ଲକ୍ ବିସ୍ବାସି ବାଇମନ୍ ରଇଲା ଗଟେକ୍ ସବାଇ, ପିତର୍ ଲକ୍ମନର୍ ମୁଆଟେ ଉଟି ଟିଆଅଇ କଇଲା,
And in those days arose Peter in the midst of the disciples, and said, (there was a number of persons together, about an hundred and twenty, )
16 ୧୬ “ଏ ମର୍ ବାଇବଇନିମନ୍, ଜନ୍ ଇସ୍କାରିୟତ୍ ଜିଉଦା ଜିସୁକେ ଦାରାଇଦେବାକେ ସତ୍ରୁମନ୍କେ ବାଟ୍ ଦେକାଇ ଆନିରଇଲା, ତାର୍ ବିସଇ, ଦାଉଦ୍ ସୁକଲ୍ଆତ୍ମାଇ ପୁରୁନ୍ଅଇ ବବିସତ୍କାତା ସୁନାଇ ରଇଲା । ଦରମ୍ ସାସ୍ତରର୍ କାତା ସିଦ୍ ଅଇବାକେ ଏଟା ଗଟ୍ବାର୍ ରଇଲା ।
Men and brethren, it must needs be that this scripture should be fulfilled, which the Holy Ghost delivered before by the mouth of David concerning Judas, who was the conductor of those who seized on Jesus.
For he was reckoned of our number, and had obtained an appointment to this ministry.
18 ୧୮ ଜିଉଦା କରିରଇବା କରାପ୍ କାମେଅନି ମିଲାଇଲା ଡାବୁକେ ଗଟେକ୍ ଜମି ଗେନାଅଇରଇଲା । ଆରି ସେ ଜମିତେଇ, ଉମ୍ତାଡିଅଇ ଅଦ୍ରି ମଲା । ତାର୍ ପେଟ୍ ଚିରିଅଇ ଆଁତି ବାରଇଗାଲା ।
This man indeed accordingly purchased a spot of ground with the wages of iniquity; and projected forward, he burst in the midst, and all his bowels fell out.
19 ୧୯ ଜିରୁସାଲମ୍ ନଅରେ ବାସାଅଇରଇବା ସବୁ ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ଏ ସବୁ ବିସଇ ସୁନ୍ଲାଇ । ସେମନର୍ ବାସାଇ ସେ ଜମିର୍ ନାଉଁ ଆକେଲ୍ଦାମା ତାର୍ ଅରତ୍ ଅଇଲାନି ବନିର୍ ପଦା ବଲି ନାଉଁ ଦେଲାଇ ଆଚତ୍ ।
And it was a fact known to all who dwelt at Jerusalem; so that this field is called in their own dialect, Aceldama, that is, The field of blood.
20 ୨୦ ଗିତ୍ସଙ୍ଗିତା ବଇଟାନେ ଏ ବିସଇ ଲେକା ଅଇଲା ଆଚେ, “ତାର୍ ଗର୍ ଚୁଚା ଅଇଜାଅ, ତେଇ ବାସା ଅଇବାକେ କେ ମିସା ନ ରଅତ୍ ।” ଆରି ମିସା ଲେକା ଅଇଲା ଆଚେ, “ତାର୍ ଜାଗାଇ ସେବା କର୍ବାକେ ଆରି ଗଟେକ୍ ଲକ୍ ମିସ ।”
For it is written in the book of Psalms, Let his habitation be desolate, and let there be no man to dwell in it: and his office, as bishop, let another take.
21 ୨୧ “ସେଟାର୍ ପାଇ, ଜିସୁମାପ୍ରୁ ଆମର୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ଗାଲାବେଲେ ଜେ ଆମର୍ ଦଲେ ସବୁବେଲେ ରଇଲା, ସେନ୍ତାରି ଗଟେକ୍ ଲକ୍କେ ବାଚ୍ବାର୍ ଆଚେ ।
Wherefore from among the men who have associated with us always during the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us,
22 ୨୨ ଜନ୍ ଲକ୍କେ ଆମେ ବାଚ୍ବୁ, ପର୍ମେସର୍ ଜିସୁକେ ଜେନ୍ତି ଜିବନ୍ କରି ଉଟାଇଲା, ସେ ବିସଇ ଆମର୍ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ସେ ସାକି ଅଇବାର୍ଆଚେ । ଜଅନ୍ ଜିସୁକେ ଡୁବନ୍ଦେଲା ବେଲେଅନି, ପର୍ମେସର୍ ଆମର୍ଟାନେଅନି ତାକେ ସର୍ଗେ ନେବା ଜାକ, ସେ ଲକ୍ ଆମର୍ ଦଲେ ରଇବାର୍ ଆଚେ ।”
beginning from his baptism by John, until the day in which he was taken up from us, must there be chosen with us a witness of his resurrection, even one of these.
So they appointed two persons, Joseph called Barsabas, whose sirname was Justus, and Matthias.
24 ୨୪ ଆରି ସେମନ୍ ପାର୍ତନା କଲାଇ, “ମାପ୍ରୁ ତମେତା ସବୁ ଲକର୍ ମନର୍ କାତା ଜାନାସ୍ । ଜିଉଦା ଜନ୍ ଜାଗାଇ ରଇବାର୍ରଇଲା, ଟିକ୍ ତେଇ ଉଟିଗାଲା । ପଚେ ତାର୍ ଜାଗାଇ ତମେ ବାଚିରଇବା ଲକ୍, ଏ ଦୁଇ ଲକର୍ ବିତ୍ରେ ଅନି କେ ଅଇରଇସି?
And joining in prayer, they said, Do thou, O Lord, who knowest the hearts of all men, point out the one of these two which thou hast chosen,
to take a part in this ministry and apostleship, from which Judas by transgression fell, to go to his own place.
26 ୨୬ ତାର୍ପଚେ ଦୁଇ ଲକର୍ଟାନେଅନି ଗଟେକ୍ ଲକ୍କେ ବାଚ୍ବାକେ କେଡ୍ପୁଟାଇଲାଇ । କେଡ୍ପୁଟାଇଲାକେ ମତିୟସର୍ ନାଉଁ ପୁଟ୍ଲା । ସେନ୍ତାରି, ଏଗାର୍ଟା ସିସ୍ମନର୍ ଦଲେ ସେ ମିସ୍ଲା ।
And they drew lots for them and the lot fell to Matthias and he was by unanimous suffrage numbered with the eleven apostles.
