ପେରିତ୍ 12
And about that time, Herod the king put forth his hands to do evil to certain of those of the Assembly,
and he killed James, the brother of John, with the sword,
3 ୩ ଜାକୁବ୍କେ ମରାଇଲାଟା ଜିଉଦିମନ୍କେ ସାର୍ଦା କରାଇଲା । ଏଟା ଦେକି ଏରଦ୍ ପିତର୍କେ ମିସା ବନ୍ଦି କର୍ବାକେ ତିଆର୍ଲା । ଏଟା ଜିଉଦିମନ୍ କମିର୍ ନ ମିସାଇତେ ରୁଟିକର୍ବା ପରବ୍ ବେଲେ ଅଇରଇଲା ।
and having seen that it is pleasing to the Jews, he added to lay hold of Peter also—and they were the days of the Unleavened [Bread]—
4 ୪ ସଇନମନ୍ ପିତର୍କେ ବାନ୍ଦିକରି ବନ୍ଦିଗରେ ପୁରାଇଲାଇ । ରକିଆ ପାଇବା ପରବର୍ ପଚେ ସବୁ ଲକର୍ ମୁଆଟେ ବିଚାର୍ନା କର୍ବି ବଲି ଏରଦ୍ ବାବି ରଇଲା । ସେଟାର୍ପାଇ ଗଟେକ୍ ଦଲେ ଚାରିଲକ୍ ଲାକା ଅଇ, ଚାରିଟା ଦଲ୍କରି ସନିଅମନ୍ ତାକେ ଜାଗିରଇଲାଇ ।
whom also having seized, he put in prison, having delivered [him] to four squads of four soldiers to guard him, intending to bring him forth to the people after the Passover.
5 ୫ ପିତର୍ ବନ୍ଦିଗରେ ରଇଲାବେଲେ ଜିରୁସାଲେମେ ରଇବା ମଣ୍ଡଲିର୍ ବିସ୍ବାସିମନ୍ ଗଟେକ୍ ଅଇକରି ତାର୍ପାଇ ପର୍ମେସର୍କେ ପାର୍ତନା କର୍ତେରଇଲାଇ ।
Peter, therefore, indeed, was kept in the prison, and fervent prayer was being made by the Assembly to God for him,
6 ୬ ଜନ୍ ଦିନେ ଏରଦ୍ ପିତର୍କେ ଲକ୍ମନର୍ ମୁଆଟେ ଆନ୍ବାକେ କାତା ଦେଇରଇଲା, ତାର୍ ଆଗ୍ତୁର୍ ରାତି ପିତର୍ ବନ୍ଦିଗରେ ଦୁଇଟା ଜାଗୁଆଲ୍ମନର୍ ମଜାଇ ସଇରଇଲା । ତାକେ ସନିଅମନର୍ ମିସ୍ତେ ଦୁଇଟା ଆତେ ଦୁଇଟା ସିକ୍ଲି ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ବାନ୍ଦିରଇଲାଇ । ଆରି ଜାଗୁଆଲ୍ମନ୍ ବନ୍ଦିଗରର୍ ଦୁଆରେ ଜାଗିରଇଲାଇ ।
and when Herod was about to bring him forth, the same night was Peter sleeping between two soldiers, having been bound with two chains, guards were also keeping the prison before the door,
7 ୭ ସେ ଦାପ୍ରେ, ଏଦେ ଦେକା! ମାପ୍ରୁର୍ ଗଟେକ୍ ଦୁତ୍ ଆସି ପିତରର୍ ମୁଆଟେ ଟିଆଅଇଲା ଆରି ଗୁଲାଇ ବାକ୍ରା ଉଜଲ୍ ଅଇଗାଲା । ସରଗର୍ ଦୁତ୍ ପିତର୍କେ କନ୍ଦେ ଦାରି ଚୁଲ୍ବୁଲାଇଲା ଆରି ସଇଲାଟାନେଅନି ଉଟାଇକରି କଇଲା “ଦାପ୍ରେ ଉଟ୍!” ଉଟ୍ଲା ଦାପ୍ରେ ବାନ୍ଦି ଅଇରଇଲା ସିକ୍ଲି କୁସ୍ଲିଗାଲା ।
and behold, a messenger of the LORD stood by, and a light shone in the buildings, and having struck Peter on the side, he raised him up, saying, “Rise in haste,” and his chains fell from off [his] hands.
8 ୮ ତାର୍ପଚେ ଦୁତ୍ କଇଲା, “ଆଁଟାଇ ତୁଆଲ୍ ବାନ୍ଦିଅ ଆରି ପାଣ୍ଡଇ ପିନ୍ଦ୍ ।” ପିତର୍ ସେନ୍ତି କଲା ପଚେ ଦୁତ୍ କଇଲା, “ଚାଦର୍ ଡାବିଅଇକରି ମର୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ଆଉ ।”
The messenger also said to him, “Gird yourself, and bind on your sandals”; and he did so; and he says to him, “Cast your garment around and follow me”;
9 ୯ ପିତର୍ ଦୁତର୍ ପଚେ ପଚେ ବନ୍ଦିଗରେ ଅନି ବାରଇ ଆଇଲା । ଦୁତ୍ ଜନ୍ଟା କର୍ତେରଇଲା, ସେଟା ସତ୍ କି ନଏଁ ବଲି ଜାନି ନାପାର୍ତେରଇଲା । “ଏଟା ଗଟେକ୍ ଦର୍ସନ୍ ଦେକ୍ଲିନି ।” ବଲି ବାବ୍ତେରଇଲା ।
and having gone forth, he was following him, and he did not know that it is true that which is done through the messenger, and was thinking he saw a vision,
10 ୧୦ ସେମନ୍ ଜାଗୁଆଲ୍ମନ୍ ରଇବା ଦୁଇଟା ଜାଗା ଜିତିକରି ପଚେ ନଅରେ ପୁର୍ବା ଲୁଆ କାପାଟ୍ ରଇବା ଲଗେ ଆଇଲାଇ । ତାକର୍ପାଇ ଲୁଆ କାପାଟ୍ ତାର୍ମନ୍କେସେ ଉଗାଡିଅଇଗାଲା ଆରି ସେମନ୍ ବାରଇ ଉଟିଆଇଲାଇ । ସେମନ୍ ବାଟେ ଇଣ୍ଡୁ ଇଣ୍ଡୁ ଅଟାତ୍ ସରଗର୍ ଦୁତ୍ ପିତର୍କେ ଚାଡି ମାୟା ଅଇଗାଲା ।
and having passed through a first ward, and a second, they came to the iron gate that is leading into the city, which opened to them of its own accord, and having gone forth, they went on through one street, and immediately the messenger departed from him.
11 ୧୧ ତାର୍ପଚେ ଜାଇଟା ଗଟିରଇଲା, ସେଡ୍କିବେଲେ ତାକେ କାଇଟା ଅଇରଇଲା, ସେଟା ପିତର୍ ଜାନିପାରି କଇଲା, “ଏଟା ସତ୍ ବଲି ମୁଇ ଜାନିଆଚି । ଏରଦର୍ ଟାନେଅନି ଆରି ଜିଉଦି ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ଜାଇଟା ଗଟ୍ସି ବଲି ଆସା କରିରଇଲାଇ, ତେଇଅନି ମକେ ରକିଆ କର୍ବାକେ ମାପ୍ରୁ ସରଗର୍ ଦୁତ୍କେ ପାଟାଇରଇଲା ।”
And Peter having come to himself, said, “Now I have known of a truth that the LORD sent forth His messenger, and delivered me out of the hand of Herod, and all the expectation of the people of the Jews”;
12 ୧୨ ନିଜର୍ ବିସଇ ଜାନିକରି ସେ ଜଅନ୍ ମାର୍କର୍ ଆୟା ମରିୟମର୍ ଗରେ ଗାଲା । ତେଇ ବେସି ବିସ୍ବାସିମନ୍ ରୁଣ୍ଡିକରି ପିତରର୍ ପାଇ ପାର୍ତନା କର୍ତେ ରଇଲାଇ ।
also, having considered, he came to the house of Mary, the mother of John, who is surnamed Mark, where there were many thronged together and praying.
13 ୧୩ ପିତର୍ ବାଇରର୍ କାପାଟେ ଟକ୍ଟକ୍ କରି ମାର୍ଲାକେ, ରଦା ନାଉଁର୍ ଗଟେକ୍ ଗତିଦାଙ୍ଗ୍ଡି କାପାଟ୍ ଉଗାଡ୍ବାକେ ଆଇଲା ।
And Peter having knocked at the door of the porch, there came a girl to listen, by name Rhoda,
14 ୧୪ ପିତରର୍ କଁଟ୍ସର୍ ଜାନିପାରି ସେ ଏତେକ୍ ସାର୍ଦା ଅଇଲା ଜେ କାପାଟ୍ ନ ଉଗାଡି ବିତ୍ରେ ପାଲାଇକରି ତେଇର୍ ବିସ୍ବାସିମନ୍କେ କଇଲା, “ପିତର୍ ବାଇରେ ଟିଆଅଇଲା ଆଚେ ।”
and having known the voice of Peter, from the joy she did not open the porch, but having run in, told of the standing of Peter before the porch,
15 ୧୫ ସେମନ୍ ତାକେ କଇଲାଇ, “ତୁଇ ବାୟାଅଇଲୁସ୍ନି! ମାତର୍ ‘ଏଟା ସତ୍ ।’ ବଲି ସେ ଡାଟ୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ କଇଲାଗ୍ଲାକେ, ସେମନ୍ ଏଟା ତାର୍ ଦୁତ୍ କାଇକି,” ବଲି ବାବ୍ଲାଇ ।
and they said to her, “You are mad”; and she was confidently affirming [it] to be so, and they said, “It is his messenger”;
16 ୧୬ ପିତର୍ ତର୍କେ ତର୍ କାପାଟେ ମାର୍ତେ ରଇଲା । ସାରାସାରି ସେମନ୍ କାପାଟ୍ ଉଗାଡି ତାକେ ଦେକି କାବାଅଇଗାଲାଇ ।
and Peter was continuing knocking, and having opened, they saw him, and were astonished,
17 ୧୭ ସେ ଆତ୍ ସାଗିଆକରି ସେମନ୍କେ ଚିମ୍ରା ଅଇବାକେ କଇଲା । ଆରି ମାପ୍ରୁ କେନ୍ତି ତାକେ ବନ୍ଦି ଗରେଅନି ବାର୍କରାଇ ଆନ୍ଲା, ସେ ବିସଇ ସେମନ୍କେ କଇଲା । ତାର୍ ପଚେ ଏ ସବୁ କାତା ଜାକୁବ୍ ଆରି ବିନ୍ ସବୁ ବାଇମନ୍କେ ଜାନାଆ ବଲି କଇଲା । ପଚେ ସେ ତେଇଅନି ବିନ୍ବାଟେ ଉଟିଗାଲା ।
and having beckoned to them with the hand to be silent, he declared to them how the LORD brought him out of the prison, and he said, “Declare these things to James and to the brothers”; and having gone forth, he went on to another place.
And day having come, there was not a little stir among the soldiers what then was become of Peter,
19 ୧୯ ଏରଦ୍ ଏଟା ସୁନିକରି ପିତର୍କେ କଜ୍ବାକେ ତାର୍ ସନିଅମନ୍କେ ଆଦେସ୍ ଦେଲା । ମାତର୍ ସେମନ୍ ତାକେ ମିଲାଇ ନାପାର୍ଲାଇ । ତେବେ ସାରାସାରି ଜାଗୁଆଲ୍ମନ୍କେ ପାଚାର୍ଲା । କେନ୍ତି ଏଟା ଅଇଲାଟା କଇନାପାର୍ଲାକେ ସେମନ୍କେ ମରନର୍ ଡଣ୍ଡ୍ ଦେବାକେ ଆଦେସ୍ ଦେଲା । ତାର୍ ପଚେ ଏରଦ୍ ଜିଉଦା ରାଇଜେଅନି ଜାଇ କେତେ ଦିନର୍ପାଇ କାଇସରିଆଇ ବାସା ଅଇରଇଲା ।
and Herod having sought for him, and having not found, having examined the guards, commanded [them] to be led away to punishment, and having gone down from Judea to Caesarea, he was abiding [there].
20 ୨୦ ସେ ବେଲାଇ ଏରଦ୍ ସର୍ ଆରି ସିଦନର୍ ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ବେସି ରିସା ଅଇରଇଲା । ସେଟାର୍ ପାଇ ତେଇର୍ ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ଗଟେକ୍ ଦଲ୍, ତାକେ ବେଟ୍ ଅଇବାକେ ଗାଲାଇ । ପର୍ତୁମ୍ ସେମନ୍ ରାଜା ସଇବା ଗର୍ ଦାଇତେ ରଇଲା ବାଲସ୍ଟସ୍କେ ବୁଜାଇ, ତାର୍ ସାଇଜ ପାଇଲାଇ । ତାର୍ ପଚେ ସେମନ୍ ଏରଦର୍ ଲଗେ ଜାଇ ସାନ୍ତିସଙ୍ଗ୍ ରଉଁ ବଲି କାତା ଅଇଲାଇ, କାଇକେ ବଇଲେ ଏରଦର୍ ରାଇଜେଅନି ସେମନର୍ ଦେସେ କାଇବା ଜିନିସ୍ ଜାଇତେରଇଲା ।
And Herod was highly displeased with the Tyrians and Sidonians, and with one accord they came to him, and having made a friend of Blastus, who [is] over the bed-chambers of the king, they were asking peace, because of their country being nourished from the king’s;
21 ୨୧ ଜନ୍ ଦିନେ ଏରଦର୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ସେମନ୍ ବେଟ୍ ଅଇବାକେ ଟିକ୍ କରିରଇଲାଇ, ସେ ରାଜାମନ୍ ପିନ୍ଦ୍ବା ବସ୍ତର୍ ପିନ୍ଦ୍ଲା ଆରି ତାର୍ ବସ୍ବା ଜାଗାଇ ବସି ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ଗଟେକ୍ ବାସନ୍ ଦେଲା ।
and on a set day, Herod having clothed himself in kingly clothing, and having sat down on the judgment seat, was making an oration to them,
and the populace were shouting, “The voice of a god, and not of a man!”
23 ୨୩ “ମୁଇ ପର୍ମେସର୍ ନଇ,” ବଲି କଏ ନାଇକେ ଦାପ୍ରେ ମାପ୍ରୁର୍ ଦୁତ୍ ଏରଦ୍କେ ରଗି କରାଇଲା । ସେଟାର୍ପାଇ ତାର୍ ଗୁଲାଇଗାଗଡ୍ କିଡା କାଇଲାଇ ଆରି ମରିଗାଲା ।
And immediately a messenger of the LORD struck him in return for that he did not give the glory to God, and having been eaten of worms, he expired.
And the word of God grew and multiplied,
25 ୨୫ ଜିଉଦା ଦେସର୍ ବିସ୍ବାସିମନ୍କେ ଡାବୁ ଦେଇ ସାରାଇକରି ବର୍ନବା ଆରି ସାଉଲ୍, ଆନ୍ଟିଅକିଆଇ ଆଇଲାଇ । ଜଅନ୍ ଆରି ମାର୍କକେ ମିସା ସେମନ୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ନେଇ ଜିରୁସାଲମେ ବାଅଡ୍ଲାଇ ।
and Barnabas and Saul turned back out of Jerusalem, having fulfilled the ministry, having also taken John with [them], who was surnamed Mark.
