୧ମ ତିମତି 5
1 ୧ ତର୍ଟାନେଅନି ବୟସେ ବଡ୍ ରଇବା ଲକ୍କେ ଡାଟ୍ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ଦାକାପୁକା ଦେସ୍ନାଇ । ତାର୍ ବାଦୁଲେ ନିଜର୍ ବାବାକେ ବାବୁଜିଆ କଲାପାରା ସନ୍ମାନ୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ କର୍ । ବଇସେ ସାନ୍ ରଇଲା ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ନିଜର୍ ବାଇ ଇସାବେ କାତା ଅ ।
REBUKE not harshly an aged man, but admonish him as a father; the younger men as brethren;
2 ୨ ବଇସେ ବଡ୍ ରଇବା ମାଇଜିମନ୍କେ ନିଜର୍ ମାଆ ପାରା ଆରି ଦାଙ୍ଗ୍ଡିମନ୍କେ ନିଜର୍ ବଇନି ପାରା ମାନିକରି ର । ସେମନ୍କେ ମନେ ମନେ ମିସା ପାପ୍ ଇସାବେ ଦେକ୍ନାଇ ।
the aged women as mothers; the younger as sisters, with all purity.
Honour the widows, that are widows indeed.
4 ୪ ଜଦି କନ୍ ରାଣ୍ଡିମାଇଜିକେ ପିଲାଟକି କି ନାତିତିତି ରଇଲେ, ସେମନ୍ ନିଜର୍ କୁଟୁମର୍ ଲକ୍ ଇସାବେ ତାକେ ଜତନ୍ କରତ୍ । ସେନ୍ତାରି ସେମନ୍ ଆୟା ବାବାମନ୍କେ ଆରି ଆନିଦାଦିମନ୍କେ ତାକର୍ ଆଲାଦ୍ ବାଉଡାଇ ଦେଅତ୍ । ଏଟା ପର୍ମେସର୍କେ ସାର୍ଦା କରାଇସି ।
But if any widow has children or grandchildren, let them learn as their first duty to shew their piety towards their own family, and make a grateful return to their progenitors: for this is becoming and acceptable before God.
5 ୫ ଜନ୍ ରାଣ୍ଡିମାଇଜି ଜାକେ କି ଆକାସାକା ନାଇ, ସେ ପର୍ମେସର୍କେ ଆସାକରିଆଚେ, ସେ ଦିନ୍ରାତି ତାକେ ଗୁଆରିକଲାନି, ତାକେସେ ମଣ୍ଡଲିର୍ ବିସ୍ବାସିମନ୍ ଜତନ୍ କର୍ବାର୍ ଆଚେ ।
But she who is a widow indeed, and abandoned to solitude, hopeth in God, and continueth in supplications and prayers night and day.
6 ୬ ମାତର୍ ଗଟେକ୍ ରାଣ୍ଡି ମାଇଜି ଅବ୍କା ନିଜେ କର୍ବା ବିସଇ ମନ୍କରି, ପର୍ମେସର୍ ତାକେ ଜନ୍ଟା କର ବଲି ମନ୍ କଲାନି, ସେଟା ନ କରିରଇଲେ, ସେ ବଁଚିରଇକରି ମିସା ମଲା ସମାନ୍ ଆଚେ ।
But she who lives voluptuously is dead, though she liveth.
7 ୭ ରାଣ୍ଡି ମାଇଜିମନର୍ ଜତନ୍ ପାଇ ମୁଇ ଜେତ୍କି ଆଦେସ୍ ଦେଲିଆଚି, ସେଟା ସବୁ ମାନା ବଲି ବିସ୍ବାସିମନ୍କେ ତିଆର୍ । ଜେନ୍ତାରିକି ସେମନ୍କେ କେ ମିସା ନିନ୍ଦା କରି ନାପାରତ୍ ।
And these things inculcate, that they may be blameless.
8 ୮ କେ ଜଦି, ତାର୍ ନିଜର୍ ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ କି କୁଟୁମର୍ ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ଲଡାକେ ରଇବା ବିସଇ ନ ଦେଲେ, ସେ ଜନ୍ଟା ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କଲିନି ବଲି କଇସି, ସେ ସତଇସେ ସେଟା ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କରେନାଇ । ସେ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ ନ କରିରଇବା ଲକର୍ଟାନେଅନି ଅଦିକ୍ ଇନ୍ ।
But if any man provide not for his own relations, and especially for those more immediately of his own family, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.
9 ୯ ଗଟେକ୍ ରାଣ୍ଡି ମାଇଜି କଡେଚାରି ବରସ୍ ନ ଅଇତେ, ତାକେ ରାଣ୍ଡି ବଲି ଲେକା କର୍ବାର୍ ନାଇ । ସେ ଗଟେକ୍ ମୁନୁସର୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ସେ ମିସିରଇବାର୍ଆଚେ ।
Let no widow be put on the list under sixty years of age, who hath been the wife of one husband,
10 ୧୦ ବିନ୍ ଲକ୍ ଦେକ୍ବା ଇସାବେ, ସେ ବେସି ଦରମ୍ ଅଇ, ବିନ୍ ଲକ୍କେ ସାଇଜ କର୍ବାର୍ ଆଚେ । ଜେନ୍ତାରି କି ନିଜର୍ ପିଲାମନ୍କେ ନିକ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ବଡାଇରଇସି, ଆଇଲା ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ଗତିଆ ଇସାବେ ଡାକ୍ସି, ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ସୁକଲ୍ ଲକ୍ମନର୍ ଗଡ୍ ଦଇଦେଇସି, ଦୁକ୍ କସ୍ଟେ ରଇବା ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ସାଇଜ କର୍ସି, ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ସାଇଜ କର୍ବାକେ ବିନ୍ ବିନ୍ କାମ୍ କର୍ତେରଇସି ।
bringing attestation of her good works; that she hath well educated her children, that she hath been hospitable to strangers, that she hath washed the saints feet, that she hath assisted the afflicted, that she hath followed diligently every good work.
11 ୧୧ ଡକ୍ରି ନ ରଇବା ରାଣ୍ଡିମନ୍କେ ରାଣ୍ଡି ଇସାବେ ଲେକା କର୍ ନାଇ । କାଇକେବଇଲେ ସେମନ୍ ରାଣ୍ଡି ଇସାବେ କିରିସ୍ଟକେ ସେବା କର୍ବି ବଲି କାତା ଦେଇରଇଲେ ମିସା, ମୁନୁସର୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ରଇବି ବଲି ମନ୍ ଆଇଲେ, ଆଗ୍ତୁ ଦେଇରଇବା କାତା ପାସ୍ରିଜାଇ ଆରିତରେକ୍ ବିବା ଅଇବାକେ ମନ୍ କର୍ବାଇ ।
But the younger widows reject: for when they give themselves to wantonness contrary to Christ, they will marry;
12 ୧୨ ଆରିତରେକ୍ ବିବା ଅଇଲାର୍ ପାଇ ସେମନ୍ ଦସି ଅଇବାଇ । କାଇକେବଇଲେ, ସେମନ୍ ଆଗ୍ତୁ ଦେଇରଇବା କାତା ପୁରାପୁରୁନ୍ କରତ୍ ନାଇ ।
incurring censure, for having violated their former engagement.
13 ୧୩ ଏଟାର୍ ମିସ୍ତେ ସେମନ୍ ଅଲସ୍ ଅଇବାଟା ସିକ୍ବାଇ । ଆର୍ ଗରେ ତାର୍ ଗରେ ଜାଇ ବେଲା ବିତାଇବାଇ । ତିପୁଲ୍ କାତା କଇ ବିନ୍ ଲକର୍ ବିସଇ କାତାବାର୍ତା ଅଇବାଇ ।
And at the same time also they learn to be idle, visiting about in the houses; and not merely idle, but talkative and inquisitive, speaking things they ought not.
14 ୧୪ ତେବର୍ପାଇ ଡକ୍ରି ନ ରଇବା ରାଣ୍ଡିମନ୍କେ ମୁଇ ତିଆର୍ଲିନି, ଆରିତରେକ୍ ଗର୍ ବସାଇ ପିଲାଟକିର୍ ଜତନ୍ କରା । ସେନ୍ତାରି କଲେ ଆମର୍ ବିରଦିମନ୍ ଆମ୍କେ ନିନ୍ଦା ନ କରତ୍ ।
I would therefore have the younger widows to marry, bear children, govern their house, give no occasion to the adversary to bring a reproach on them.
For some are already turned aside after Satan.
16 ୧୬ ଜଦି କନ୍ଆଲେ ମାଇଜି କିରିସ୍ଟକେ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କର୍ସି, ଆରି ତାର୍ କୁଟୁମେ ରାଣ୍ଡିମାଇଜିମନ୍ ରଇବାଇ, ସେ ଆକା ସେମନ୍କେ ସାଇଜ କର୍ବାର୍ ଆଚେ । ବିନ୍ ବିସ୍ବାସିମନ୍ ସେ ଦାଇତ୍ ନେଇ କରତ୍ ବଲି ସେ ଆସା କର୍ବାର୍ ନାଇ । ଏଟା ଜେନ୍ତାରିକି ଜାକେ ଆକାସାକା ନ ରଅତ୍ ସେମନ୍କେ ବିସ୍ବାସିମନ୍ ଜତନ୍ କରିପାରତ୍ ।
But if any man or woman who believes hath widows their relations, let him provide for them, and let not the church be burdened; that there may be a sufficiency for the real widows.
17 ୧୭ ଜନ୍ ପାର୍ଚିନ୍ମନ୍ ମଣ୍ଡଲିର୍ ନେତା ଅଇ ଡାକିନେଲାଇନି, ସେମନ୍ ଦୁଇଗୁନ୍ ବୁତି ପାଇବା ଦର୍କାର୍ । କାଇକେବଇଲେ ସୁବ୍କବର୍ ଜାନାଇବାଟା ଆରି ସିକାଇବାଟା ସେମନ୍କେ ଦାଇତ୍ ଇସାବେ ଦେଲାଇ ଆଚତ୍ ।
Let the elders who preside properly be counted worthy of double honour, especially those who are laborious in preaching and teaching.
18 ୧୮ ସାସ୍ତରେ ଜେନ୍ତି ଲେକାଅଇଲା ଆଚେ, ଗାନାଇ ଦାନ୍ ମାଣ୍ଡାଇବାବେଲେ ବଲଦର୍ ଟଣ୍ଡେ କତ୍ରା ବାନ୍ଦା ନାଇ ଆରି କାମ୍ କରୁ ସାଉକାର୍ଟାନେଅନି ତାର୍ କୁଲି ପାଇସି ଆକା ।
For the Scripture saith, “Thou shalt not muzzle the ox while he treadeth out the corn.” And again, “The labourer is worthy of his hire.”
Against a presbyter receive not an accusation, except it be from two or three witnesses.
20 ୨୦ ପାପେ ରଇବା ଗଟେକ୍ ପାର୍ଚିନ୍କେ ସବୁର୍ ମୁଆଟେ ଲାଗ୍ । ଜେନ୍ତାରିକି ବିନ୍ ପାର୍ଚିନ୍ମନ୍ ସେନ୍ତାରି ପାପ୍ କର୍ବାକେ ଡର୍ବାଇ ।
Those who sin rebuke before all, that the rest also may tremble.
21 ୨୧ ଆମର୍ ବାବା ପର୍ମେସର୍ ଜିସୁକିରିସ୍ଟ ଆରି ସେ ବାଚିରଇବା ଦୁତ୍ମନ୍କେ ସାକିକରି ମୁଇ ତକେ ତିଆର୍ଲିନି, ମୁଇ ତିଆର୍ଲା ଏ ସବୁ ବିସଇ କାଇ ବଡ୍ସାନ୍ ନ ଦେକିକରି କର୍ ।
I adjure thee before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that thou observe these things without prejudice, doing nothing by partiality.
22 ୨୨ ଗଟେକ୍ ଲକ୍କେ ପରିକା ନ କର୍ବା ଜାକ ତାକେ ମୁକିଅ ଇସାବେ, ତର୍ ଆତ୍ ତାର୍ ମୁଣ୍ଡେ ସଙ୍ଗଇ, ସେବା କାମର୍ ପାଇ ସରପ୍ ନାଇ । ନଇଲେ ତାର୍ ପାପର୍ ପାଇ, ତୁଇ ଦାଇ ଅଇସୁ । ତୁଇ ନିଜେ ପାପ୍ ନ କର୍ବାକେ ଜାଗ୍ରତ୍ ର ।
Lay hands hastily on no man, nor share another’s sins: keep thyself pure;
23 ୨୩ ଆରି ଚୁଚା ପାନି ନ କାଇକରି ତର୍ ପେଟର୍ ଲାଗି ଅଲପ୍ ଅଙ୍ଗୁର୍ ମଦ୍ ମିସା କାଆ । କାଇକେବଇଲେ ତୁଇତା ସବୁବେଲେ ନିକ ରଉସ୍ ନାଇ ।
confine thyself no longer to water-drinking; but use a little wine for thy stomach’s sake, and thy frequent indispositions.
24 ୨୪ କେତେ ଲକ୍ ସବୁର୍ ଦେକ୍ତେ ପାପ୍ କଲାଇନି । ଜେନ୍ତିକି ତୁଇ ସେଟା ଜାନିପାର୍ଲୁସ୍ନି । ସେମନର୍ ଚଲାଚଲ୍ତି ପରିକା କର୍ବା ଆଗ୍ତୁ, ତୁଇ ସେଟା ଜାନ୍ସୁ । ମାତର୍ ଆରି କେତେଲକର୍ ପାପ୍ ବେସି ଦିନ୍ ଅଇଲେ ମିସା ଜାନି ନଏଁ ।
Some men’s sins are glaringly manifest, going before to judgment; and after others also they follow to detection.
25 ୨୫ ସେନ୍ତାରିସେ କେତେ ଲକ୍ କର୍ବା ନିକ ବିସଇ ସବୁକେ ଡିସ୍ସି । ସେମନ୍ କର୍ବା ନିକ ବିସଇ ଦାପ୍ରେ ନ ଡିସ୍ଲେ ମିସା କେତେଦିନ୍ ପଚେ, ସେଟା ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ଜାନ୍ବାଇ ।
In like manner also the good works of some are previously manifest; and it is not possible that what they have besides should be concealed.
