୧ମ କରନ୍ତିୟ 13
1 ୧ ଜଦି ମୁଇ ଲକ୍ମନର୍ ବାସାଇ କି ସରଗର୍ ଦୁତ୍ମନର୍ ବାସାଇ କାତା ଅଇବି । ମର୍ ବାଇମନ୍କେ ମୁଇ ଆଲାଦ୍ ନ କରି ବଇଲେ, ମର୍ କାତା ଚୁଚାଇସେ, ଜେନ୍ତିକି ଗଟେକ୍ ସବଦ୍ ଅଇକରି ବାଜ୍ବା ଗଁଟା ପାରା ।
If I could speak in every tongue of men, and in that of angels, and there should be no love in me, I should be like brass that resoundeth, or the cymbal that maketh a noise.
2 ୨ ସେନ୍ତାରି ମକେ ମାପ୍ରୁର୍ ବାକିଅ ବୁଜାଇବା ବପୁ ରଇଲେ ମିସା, କି ମୁଇ ସବୁ ବିସଇ ଜାନିରଇଲେ ମିସା, ଟିକି ନିକି ବିସଇ ବୁଜିରଇଲେ ମିସା ଆରି ମର୍ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ ଏଡେକ୍ ଡାଟ୍ ଆଚେ ଜେ, ଡଙ୍ଗର୍ ଉଟ୍କାଇବା ପାରା ମର୍ ଡାଁଟର୍ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ ରଇଲେ ମିସା ବାଇମନର୍ ପାଇ ଆଲାଦ୍ ନାଇ ବଇଲେ ମୁଇ ଚୁଚାଇସେ ।
And if there should be in me the gift of prophecy, and I should understand all the mysteries, and every science; and if there should be in me all faith, so that I could move mountains, and love should not be in me, I should be nothing.
3 ୩ ଜଦି ମୁଇ ମର୍ ସବୁ ଦନ୍ ସଁପତି ଅର୍କିତ୍ ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ଦେଇରଇଲେ ମିସା, ଆରି କିରିସ୍ଟର୍ପାଇ ମର୍ ଗାଗଡ୍ ପଡାଇବାକେ ସର୍ପି ଦେଲେ ମିସା ମର୍ ଆଲାଦ୍ ନାଇ ବଇଲେ, ମର୍ପାଇ କାଇ ଲାବ୍ ନାଇ ।
And if I should feed out to the destitute all I possess; and if I should give my body to be burned; and there should be no love in me, I gain nothing.
4 ୪ ଆମେ ବାଇମନ୍କେ ଆଲାଦ୍ କଲେ ଦାପେ ରିସା ନ ଅଇ ଦୟା ଦେକାଇବୁ । ଆଁକାର୍ ନ ଅଇ, ବଡ୍ପନ୍ ନ ଅଇ ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ନିଜର୍ ତଲିଆ ନ ଦେକୁ ।
Love is long-suffering, and is kind; love is not envious; love is not boisterous; and is not inflated;
5 ୫ ଆମେ କାରାପ୍ ବେବାର୍ ନ କରୁ, ନିଜେ ପାଇବାକେ ମନ୍ ନ କରୁ । ଦାପେ ବିର୍ବିରା ନ ଅଉଁ ଆରି ଆଗେ କଲା ବୁଲ୍ କାମ୍ମନର୍ ଇସାବ୍ ନ କରୁ ।
and doth nothing that causeth shame; and seeketh not her own; is not passionate; and thinketh no evil;
rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all, and endureth all.
8 ୮ ଆଲାଦ୍ କରାକରି ଅଇବାଟାର୍ ସେସ୍ ନାଇ । ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ବାକିଅ କଇବା ବପୁ, ଆରି ନାଜାନ୍ବା ବାସା କଇବା ବପୁ, ସବୁ ସାରିଜାଇସି । ସେନ୍ତାରିସେ ଆମ୍କେ ଗିଆନ୍ ରଇଲେ ମିସା ସେଟା ଆଜିଜାଇସି ।
Love will never cease. But prophesyings will end; and tongues will be silent; and knowledge will vanish.
9 ୯ ମାତର୍ ଆମର୍ ଗିଆନ୍ ଏବେ ଜାକ ପୁରାପୁରୁନ୍ ଅଏ ନାଇତା । ଆରି ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ବାକିଅ କଇବାଟା ମିସା ଏବେ ଜାକ ପୁରାପୁରୁନ୍ ଅଏ ନାଇତା ।
For we know but partially; and we prophesy but partially.
10 ୧୦ ମାତର୍ ଜେଡେବେଲେ ଗଟେକ୍ ଦିନ୍ ଆଇସି, ଆମେ ସବୁ ନିକକରି ଜାନ୍ବୁ । ସେ ଦିନ୍ମନ୍କେ ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ସଙ୍ଗର୍ ବିସ୍ବାସିମନ୍କେ ସିକାଇବାକେ ଦର୍କାର୍ ନ ପଡେ ।
But when completeness shall come, then that which is partial will vanish away.
11 ୧୧ ମୁଇ ଜେଡେବେଲେ ପିଲା ରଇଲି, ପିଲାମନ୍ କଇଲାପାରା କାତା ଅଇଲି ଆରି ପିଲାମନ୍ ଚିନ୍ତା କଲାପାରା ଚିନ୍ତା କର୍ତେରଇଲି ଆରି ସେମନ୍ ବାବ୍ଲା ପାରା ବାବ୍ତେରଇଲି । ମାତର୍ ମୁଇ ଏବେ ବୟସେ ବଡ୍ ଅଇଗାଲିଜେ ପିଲାମନର୍ ପାରା ଚଲାଚଲ୍ତି କର୍ବାଟା ଚାଡିଦେଲି ।
When I was a child, I talked as a child, and I reasoned as a child, and I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I laid aside the things of childhood.
12 ୧୨ ମାତର୍ ଜନ୍ଟା ଆମେ ଏବେ ଦେକ୍ଲୁନି, ସେଟା ଦର୍ପନେ ଦେକ୍ଲାପାରା ସେତେକ୍ ନିକ ଡିସେ ନାଇ । ମାତର୍ ଗଟେକ୍ ଦିନ୍ ଆଇସି, ଜେବେ କିରିସ୍ଟକେ ଆମର୍ ମୁଆଟେ ଦେକ୍ବୁ । ସେ ବେଲେ ଆମେ ନିକସଙ୍ଗ୍ ଜାନ୍ବୁ । ଏବେ ଆମେ ଉନା ବିସଇ ଜାନ୍ଲୁନି, ମାତର୍ ସେ ଦିନ୍ମନ୍କେ ଆମେ ପୁରାପୁରୁନ୍ ବାବେ ଜାନ୍ବୁ । ଜେନ୍ତାର୍ କି ପର୍ମେସର୍ ଆମ୍କେ ପୁରାପୁରୁନ୍ ବାବେ ଜାନେ ।
And now we see, as by a mirror, in similitude; but then face to face: now I know partially; but then shall I know, just as I am known.
13 ୧୩ ସାରାସାରି ତିନ୍ଟା ବିସଇ ଆଚେ, ପର୍ମେସର୍ ଟାନେ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କର୍ବାଟା, ସେ କାତା କଇଲାଟା ଆସା କର୍ବାଟା, ଆରି ବାଇମନର୍ ପାଇ ରଇବା ଆମର୍ ଆଲାଦ୍ । ଏ ତିନ୍ଟା ବିତ୍ରେଅନି ବାଇମନ୍କେ ଆଲାଦ୍ କର୍ବାଟା ସବୁର୍ଟାନେଅନି ମୁକିଅ ବିସଇ ।
For these three things are abiding, faith, and hope, and love; but the greatest of these is love.
