1 HERREN talede fremdeles til Moses og sagde:

2 Byd Israeliterne at fjerne alle spedalske fra Lejren, alle, der lider af Flåd, og alle, der er blevet urene ved Lig;

to command [obj] son: descendant/people Israel and to send: let go from [the] camp all be leprous and all to flow: discharge and all unclean to/for soul: dead

3 både Mænd og Kvinder skal I fjerne og føre uden for Lejren, for at de ikke skal gøre deres Lejr uren, hvor jeg bor midt iblandt dem.

from male till female to send: depart to(wards) from outside to/for camp to send: depart them and not to defile [obj] camp their which I to dwell in/on/with midst their

4 Det gjorde Israeliterne så; de førte dem uden for Lejren, således som HERREN havde pålagt Moses.

5 HERREN talede fremdeles til Moses og sagde:

and to speak: speak LORD to(wards) Moses to/for to say

6 Sig til Israeliterne: Når en Mand eller Kvinde begår nogen af alle de Synder, som Mennesker begår, således at han gør sig skyldig i Svig mod HERREN, og det Menneske derved pådrager sig Skyld,

to speak: speak to(wards) son: descendant/people Israel man or woman for to make from all sin [the] man to/for be unfaithful unfaithfulness in/on/with LORD and be guilty [the] soul: person [the] he/she/it

7 så skal de bekende Synden, de har begået, og Gerningsmanden skal erstatte det, han har forbrudt sig med, efter dets fulde Værdi med Tillæg af en Femtedel og give det til den, han har forbrudt sig imod.

and to give thanks [obj] sin their which to make and to return: rescue [obj] guilt (offering) his in/on/with head: first his and fifth his to add upon him and to give: give to/for which be guilty to/for him

8 Og hvis denne ikke har efterladt sig nogen Løser, hvem han kan yde Erstatningen, så skal Erstatningen, som ydes, tilfalde HERREN, det vil sige Præsten, foruden den Soningsvæder, ved hvilken der skaffes ham Soning.

9 Al Offerydelse, alle Helliggaver, som Israeliterne frembærer til Præsten, skal tilfalde ham.

10 Alle Helliggaver skal tilfalde ham; hvad nogen giver Præsten, skal tilfalde ham.

11 HERREN talede fremdeles til Moses og sagde:

and to speak: speak LORD to(wards) Moses to/for to say

12 Tal til Israeliterne og sig til dem: Når en Hustru forser sig imod sin Mand og er ham utro,

to speak: speak to(wards) son: descendant/people Israel and to say to(wards) them man man for to turn aside woman: wife his and be unfaithful in/on/with him unfaithfulness

13 idet en anden Mand har Samleje med hende, uden at det er kommet til hendes Mands Kundskab, og uden at det er blevet opdaget, skønt hun har besmittet sig, og uden at der er noget Vidne imod hende, da hun ikke er grebet på fersk Gerning,

14 og han gribes af Skinsygens Ånd, så han bliver skinsyg på sin Hustru, som også i Virkeligheden har besmittet sig, eller han gribes af Skinsygens Ånd, så han bliver skinsyg på sin Hustru, skønt hun ikke har besmittet sig,

and to pass upon him spirit jealousy and be jealous [obj] woman: wife his and he/she/it to defile or to pass upon him spirit jealousy and be jealous [obj] woman: wife his and he/she/it not to defile

15 så skal Manden bringe sin Hustru til Præsten og medbringe som Offergave for hende en Tiendedel Efa Bygmel; han må hverken hælde Olie over eller komme Røgelse på, thi det er et Skinsyge Afgrødeoffer, et Minde Afgrødeoffer, der skal minde om Brøde.

and to come (in): bring [the] man [obj] woman: wife his to(wards) [the] priest and to come (in): bring [obj] offering her upon her tenth [the] ephah flour barley not to pour: pour upon him oil and not to give: put upon him frankincense for offering jealousy he/she/it offering memorial to remember iniquity: crime

16 Så skal Præsten føre hende frem og stille hende for HERRENs Åsyn.

and to present: come [obj] her [the] priest and to stand: stand her to/for face: before LORD

17 Og Præsten skal tage helligt Vand i et Lerkar, og af Støvet på Boligens Gulv skal Præsten tage noget og komme i Vandet.

and to take: take [the] priest water holy in/on/with article/utensil earthenware and from [the] dust which to be in/on/with floor [the] tabernacle to take: take [the] priest and to give: put to(wards) [the] water

18 Så skal Præsten stille Kvinden frem for HERRENs Åsyn, løse hendes Hår og lægge Minde Afgrødeofferet i hendes Hænder; det er et Skinsyge Afgrødeoffer; og Præsten skal have den bitre Vandes Forbandelsesvand i Hånden.

and to stand: stand [the] priest [obj] [the] woman to/for face: before LORD and to neglect [obj] head [the] woman and to give: put upon palm her [obj] offering [the] memorial offering jealousy he/she/it and in/on/with hand [the] priest to be water [the] bitter [the] to curse

19 Derpå skal Præsten besværge Kvinden og sige til hende: "Hvis ingen har haft Samleje med dig, hvis du ikke har forset dig imod din Mand og besmittet dig, så skal dette den bitre Vandes Forbandelsesvand ikke skade dig.

and to swear [obj] her [the] priest and to say to(wards) [the] woman: wife if not to lie down: have sex man with you and if not to turn aside uncleanness underneath: under man: husband your to clear from water [the] bitter [the] to curse [the] these

20 Men har du forset dig imod din Mand og besmittet dig, og har en anden end din Mand haft Samleje med dig"

and you(f. s.) for to turn aside underneath: under man: husband your and for to defile and to give: give(marriage) man in/on/with you [obj] copulation his from beside man: husband your

21 Præsten besværger nu kvinden med Forbandelsens Ed og siger til hende "så gøre HERREN dig til en Forbandelse og Besværgelse i dit Folk, idet han lader din Lænd visne og din Bug svulme op;

and to swear [the] priest [obj] [the] woman in/on/with oath [the] oath and to say [the] priest to/for woman to give: make LORD [obj] you to/for oath and to/for oath in/on/with midst people your in/on/with to give: make LORD [obj] thigh your to fall: fall and [obj] belly: body your swollen

22 Forbandelsesvandet her komme ind i dine Indvolde, så din Bug svulmer op og din Lænd visner!" Og kvinden skal sige: "Amen, Amen!"

and to come (in): come [the] water [the] to curse [the] these in/on/with belly your to/for to swell belly: womb and to/for to fall: fall thigh and to say [the] woman amen amen

23 Derpå skal Præsten skrive disse Forbandelser op på et Blad og vaske dem ud i den bitre Vandes Vand

and to write [obj] [the] oath [the] these [the] priest in/on/with scroll: book and to wipe to(wards) water [the] bitter

24 og give Kvinden den bitre Vandes Forbandelsesvand at drikke, for at Forbandelsesvandet kan komme ind i hende til bitter Vånde.

and to water: drink [obj] [the] woman [obj] water [the] bitter [the] to curse and to come (in): come in/on/with her [the] water [the] to curse to/for bitter

25 Derefter skal Præsten tage Skinsyge Afgrødeofferet af Kvindens Hånd, udføre Svingningen dermed for HERRENs Åsyn og bære det hen til Alteret.

and to take: take [the] priest from hand [the] woman [obj] offering [the] jealousy and to wave [obj] [the] offering to/for face: before LORD and to present: bring [obj] her to(wards) [the] altar

26 Og Præsten skal tage en Håndfuld af Afgrødeofferet, det, som skal ofres deraf, og bringe det som Røgoffer på Alteret og derpå give Kvinden Vandet at drikke.

and to grasp [the] priest from [the] offering [obj] memorial her and to offer: burn [the] altar [to] and after to water: drink [obj] [the] woman [obj] [the] water

27 Når han har givet hende Vandet at drikke, vil Forbandelsesvandet, dersom hun har besmittet sig og været sin Mand utro, blive til bitter Vånde, når det kommer ind i hende, hendes Bug vil svulme op og hendes Lænd visne, og Kvinden bliver en Forbandelse i sit Folk.

and to water: drink her [obj] [the] water and to be if to defile and be unfaithful unfaithfulness in/on/with man: husband her and to come (in): come in/on/with her [the] water [the] to curse to/for bitter and to swell belly: womb her and to fall: fall thigh her and to be [the] woman to/for oath in/on/with entrails: among people her

28 Men dersom Kvinden ikke har besmittet sig, dersom hun er ren, bliver hun uskadt og kan få Børn.

and if not to defile [the] woman and pure he/she/it and to clear and to sow seed: children

29 Det er Loven om Skinsyge; når en Hustru forser sig imod sin Mand og besmittes,

this instruction [the] jealousy which to turn aside woman: wife underneath: under man: husband her and to defile

30 eller når en Mand gribes af Skinsygens Ånd og bliver skinsyg på sin Hustru, så skal han fremstille Hustruen for HERRENs Åsyn, og Præsten skal handle med hende efter alt i denne Lov;

or man which to pass upon him spirit jealousy and be jealous [obj] woman: wife his and to stand: stand [obj] [the] woman to/for face: before LORD and to make: do to/for her [the] priest [obj] all [the] instruction [the] this

31 Manden skal være sagesløs, men sådan en Hustru skal undgælde for sin Brøde.

and to clear [the] man from iniquity: crime and [the] woman [the] he/she/it to lift: guilt [obj] iniquity: crime her
