4 Mosebog 17
1 Og HERREN talede til Moses og sagde:
And he spoke Yahweh to Moses saying.
2 "Sig til Israelitterne, at Øversterne for Fædrenehusene skal give dig en Stav for hvert Fædrenehus, tolv Stave i alt, og skriv så hver enkelts Navn på hans Stav
Speak - to [the] people of Israel and take from with them a rod a rod for [the] house of an ancestor from with all leaders their to [the] house of ancestors their two [plus] ten rods each name his you will write on rod his.
3 og skriv Arons Navn på Levis Stav, thi hvert Overhoved for Fædrenehusene skal have een Stav.
And [the] name of Aaron you will write on [the] rod of Levi for a rod one [is] for [the] head of [the] house of ancestors their.
4 Læg dem så ind i Åbenbariogsteltet foran Vidnesbyrdet, der, hvor jeg åbenbarer mig for dig.
And you will deposit them in [the] tent of meeting before the testimony where I meet you there.
5 Den Mand, jeg udvælger, hans Stav skal da grønnes; således vil jeg bringe Israelitternes Knurren imod eder til Tavshed, så jeg kan blive fri for den."
And it will be the man whom I will choose him rod his it will bud and I will put an end to from on me [the] grumblings of [the] people of Israel which they [are] grumbling on you.
6 Moses sagde nu dette til Israelitterne, og alle deres Øverster gav ham en Stav, så der blev en Stav for hver Øverste efter deres Fædrenehuse, tolv Stave i alt, og Arons Stav var imellem Stavene.
And he spoke Moses to [the] people of Israel and they gave to him - all leaders their a rod for a leader one a rod for a leader one to [the] house of ancestors their two [plus] ten rods and [the] rod of Aaron [was] in among rods their.
7 Derpå lagde Moses Stavene hen foran HERRENs Åsyn i Vidnesbyrdets Telt.
And he deposited Moses the rods before Yahweh in [the] tent of the testimony.
8 Da Moses næste Dag kom ind i Vidnesbyrdets Telt, se, da var Arons Stav, Staven for Levis Hus, grønnedes; den havde sat Skud, var kommet i Blomst og bar modne Mandler.
And it was from [the] next day and he went Moses into [the] tent of the testimony and there! it had budded [the] rod of Aaron of [the] house of Levi and it had put forth bud[s] and it had blossomed blossom and it had ripened almonds.
9 Da tog Moses Stavene bort fra HERRENs Åsyn og bar dem ud til Israelitterne, og de så på dem og tog hver sin Stav.
And he brought out Moses all the rods from to before Yahweh to all [the] people of Israel and they saw and they took each one rod his.
10 Men HERREN sagde til Moses: "Læg Arons Stav tilbage foran Vidnesbyrdet, for at den kan opbevares til Tegn for de genstridige, og gør Ende på deres Knurren, så jeg kan blive fri for den, at de ikke skal dø!"
And he said Yahweh to Moses put back [the] rod of Aaron before the testimony for keeping for a sign for [the] sons of rebellion and may you put an end to grumblings their from on me and not they will die.
11 Og Moses gjorde som HERREN havde pålagt ham; således gjorde han.
And he did Moses just as he had commanded Yahweh him so he did.
12 Men Israelitterne sagde til Moses: "Se, vi omkommer, det er ude med os, det er ude med os alle sammen!
And they said [the] people of Israel to Moses saying here! we will die we will perish all of us (we will perish. *LAB(h)*)
13 Enhver, der kommer HERRENs Bolig nær, dør. Skal vi da virkelig omkomme alle sammen?"
Every [person] approaching - [person] approaching to [the] tabernacle of Yahweh he will die ¿ or will we complete to die.
