Lukas 3
1 Men i Kejser Tiberius's femtende Regeringsår, da Pontius Pilatus var Landshøvding i Judæa, og Herodes var Fjerdingsfyrste i Galilæa, og hans Broder Filip var Fjerdingsfyrste i Ituræa og Trakonitis's Land og Lysanias Fjerdingsfyrste i Abilene,
In year then fifteenth of the reign of Tiberius Caesar, when is being governor Pontius Pilate of Judea and when is being tetrarch of Galilee Herod, Philip now the brother when he is being tetrarch of Ituraea and of Trachonitis [the] region and Lysanias of Abilene being tetrarch
2 medens Annas og Kajfas vare Ypperstepræster, kom Guds Ord til Johannes, Sakarias's Søn, i Ørkenen.
during ([the] high priesthood *N(k)O*) of Annas and Caiaphas, came [the] declaration of God upon John the (*k*) of Zechariah son in the wilderness.
3 Og han gik ud i hele Omegnen om Jordan og prædikede Omvendelses-Dåb til Syndernes Forladelse,
And he went into all the surrounding region of the Jordan proclaiming a baptism of repentance for forgiveness of sins
4 som der er skrevet i Profeten Esajas's Talers Bog: "Der er en Røst af en, som råber i Ørkenen: Bereder Herrens Vej, gører hans Stier jævne;
as it has been written in [the] book of [the] words of Isaiah the prophet (saying: *k*) [The] voice of one crying in the wilderness do prepare the way of [the] Lord, straight do make the paths of Him.
5 hver Dal skal opfyldes, og hvert Bjerg og Høj skal nedtrykkes, og det krumme skal gøres lige, og de ujævne Veje skulle gøres jævne;
Every valley will be filled and every mountain and hill will be made low; and will become the crooked into (straight *NK(o)*) and the rough into ways smooth;
6 og alt Kød skal se Guds Frelse."
and will behold all flesh the salvation of God.
7 Han sagde altså til de Skarer, som gik ud for at døbes af ham: "I Øgleunger! hvem har lært eder at fly fra den kommende Vrede?
He was saying therefore to the coming out crowds to be baptized by him; Offspring of vipers, who forewarned you to flee from the soon coming wrath?
8 Bærer da Frugter, som ere Omvendelsen værdige, og begynder ikke at sige ved eder selv: Vi have Abraham til Fader; thi jeg siger eder, at Gud kan opvække Abraham Børn af disse Sten.
do produce therefore fruits worthy of repentance; and not may begin to say in yourselves; [As] father We have Abraham. I say for to you that is able God from stones these to raise up children to Abraham.
9 Men Øksen ligger også allerede ved Roden af Træerne; så bliver da hvert Træ, som ikke bærer god Frugt, omhugget og kastet i Ilden."
Already now also the ax to the root of the trees is applied; every therefore tree not producing fruit good is cut down and into [the] fire is thrown.
10 Og Skarerne spurgte ham og sagde: "Hvad skulle vi da gøre?"
And were asking him the crowds saying; What then (shall we do? *N(k)O*)
11 Men han svarede og sagde til dem: "Den, som har to Kjortler, dele med den, som ingen har; og den, som har Mad, gøre ligeså!"
Answering now (he was saying *N(k)O*) to them; The [one] having two tunics he should impart to the [one] none having and the [one] having food likewise he should do.
12 Men også Toldere kom for at døbes, og de sagde til ham: "Mester! hvad skulle vi gøre?"
Came then also tax collectors to be baptized and they said to him; Teacher, what (shall we do? *N(k)O*)
13 Men han sagde til dem: "Kræver intet ud over, hvad eder er forordnet."
And he said to them; Nothing more beyond that appointed to you do collect.
14 Men også Krigsfolk spurgte ham og sagde: "Hvad skulle vi da gøre?" Og han sagde til dem: "Øver ikke Vold imod nogen, bruger ikke Underfundighed imod nogen, og lader eder nøje med eders Sold!"
Were asking then him also those being soldiers saying; What (may do *N(k)O*) also we ourselves And he said (to *k*) (to them; *N(k)O*) No one may extort nor may accuse falsely and do be content with the wages of you.
15 Men da Folket var i Forventning, og alle tænkte i deres Hjerter om Johannes, om ikke han skulde være Kristus,
When were expecting then the people and wondering all in the hearts of them concerning John, whether whether he himself would be the Christ,
16 da svarede Johannes og sagde til alle: "Jeg døber eder med Vand; men den kommer, som er stærkere end jeg, og hvis Skotvinge jeg ikke er værdig at løse; han skal døbe eder med den Helligånd og Ild.
Answered saying ([to] all *N(k)O*) John: I myself indeed with water baptize you; comes however the [One] mightier than I, of whom not I am worthy to untie the strap of the sandals of Him. He himself you will baptize with [the] Spirit Holy and with fire,
17 Hans Kasteskovl er i hans Hånd, for at han skal gennemrense sin Lo og sanke Hveden i sin Lade, men Avnerne skal han opbrænde med uslukkelig Ild."
of whom the winnowing fork [is] in the hand of Him (and *k*) (to scour *N(k)O*) the threshing floor of Him and (to gather *N(k)O*) the wheat into the barn of Him. But the chaff He will burn up with fire unquenchable.
18 Ligeså formanede han også Folket om mange andre Ting og forkyndte dem Evangeliet.
Many indeed therefore other things exhorting he was evangelising the people.
19 Men da Fjerdingsfyrsten Herodes blev revset af ham for hans Broders Hustru, Herodias's Skyld og for alt det onde, som Herodes gjorde,
And Herod the tetrarch being reproved by him concerning Herodias the wife (of Philip *K*) of the brother of him and concerning all that did [the] evils Herod,
20 så føjede han til alt det øvrige også dette, at han kastede Johannes i Fængsel.
added yet this to all: Also he locked up John in (*k*) prison.
21 Men medens hele Folket blev døbt, skete det, da også Jesus var bleven døbt og bad, at Himmelen åbnedes,
It came to pass now in baptizing all the people and when Jesus having been baptized and having prayed [was] opening the heaven
22 og at den Helligånd dalede ned over ham i legemlig Skikkelse som en Due, og at en Røst lød fra Himmelen: "Du er min Søn, den elskede, i dig har jeg Velbehag."
and descending the Spirit Holy in a bodily form (as *N(k)O*) a dove upon Him and a voice out of heaven coming (saying: *k*) You yourself are the Son of Mine the beloved, in You I am well pleased.
23 Og Jesus selv var omtrent tredive År, da han begyndte, og han var, som man holdt for, en Søn af Josef Elis Søn,
And Himself was (*k*) Jesus beginning about years [old] thirty being son, as was supposed of Joseph of Heli
