1 Og HERREN talede til Moses og sagde:

And Yahweh spake, unto Moses, saying:

2 Tal til Israeliterne og sig: Når nogen af Vanvare forsynder sig mod noget af HERRENs Forbud og overtræder et af dem, da skal følgende iagttages:

Speak thou unto the sons of Israel, saying—When any person, shall sin by mistake, departing from any of the commandments of Yahweh, as to things which should not be done, and shall do any one of them, —

3 Er det den salvede Præst, der forsynder sig, så der pådrages Folket Skyld, skal han for den Synd, han har begået, bringe HERREN en lydefri ung Tyr som Syndoffer.

If, the anointed priest, shall sin, so as to bring guilt upon the people, then shall he bring near for his sin which he hath committed a choice young bullock without defect, unto Yahweh as a sin-bearer.

4 Han skal føre Tyren hen til Åbenbaringsteltets Indgang for HERRENs Åsyn og lægge sin Hånd på dens Hoved og slagte den for HERRENs Åsyn,

And he shall bring in the bullock unto the entrance of the tent of meeting, before Yahweh, —and shall lean his hand upon the head of the bullock, and shall slay the bullock before Yahweh.

5 og den salvede Præst skal tage noget af Tyrens Blod og bringe det ind i Åbenbaringsteltet,

And the anointed priest shall take of the blood of the bullock, —and bring it into the tent of meeting;

6 og Præsten skal dyppe sin Finger i Blodet og stænke det syv Gange for HERRENs Åsyn foran Helligdommens Forhæng;

and the priest shall dip his finger in the blood, —and sprinkle of the blood seven times, before Yahweh, in front of the veil of the sanctuary.

7 og Præsten skal stryge noget af Blodet på Røgelsealterets Horn for HERRENs Åsyn, det, som står i Åbenbaringsteltet; Resten af Tyrens Blod skal han udgyde ved Foden af Brændofferalteret, som står ved Indgangen til Åbenbaringsteltet.

Then shall the priest put of the blood upon the horns of the altar of fragrant incense before Yahweh, which is in the tent of meeting, —and, all the [remainder of the] blood of the bullock, shall he pour out at the base of the altar of ascending-sacrifice, which is at the entrance of the tent of meeting,

8 Men alt Syndoffertyrens Fedt skal han tage ud Fedtet, som dækker Indvoldene, og alt Fedtet på Indvoldene,

And all the fat of the sin-bearing bullock, shall he heave up therefrom, —the fat that covereth over the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards;

9 begge Nyrerne med det Fedt, som sidder på dem ved Lændemusklerne, og Leverlappen, som han skal skille fra ved Nyrerne,

and the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them which is upon the loins, —and as for the caul upon the liver, upon the kidneys, shall he remove it:

10 på samme Måde som det udtages af Takofferoksen. Og Præsten skal bringe det som Røgoffer på Brændofferalteret.

just as it is heaved up from the ox of the peace-offering, —and the priest shall make of them a perfume on the altar of ascending-sacrifice,

11 Men Tyrens Hud og alt dens Kød tillige med dens Hoved, Skinneben, Indvolde og Skarn,

But, as for the skin of the bullock and all its flesh with its head and with its legs, —and its inwards, and its dung,

12 hele Tyren skal han bringe uden for Lejren til et urent Sted, til Askedyngen, og brænde den på et Bål af Brænde; oven på Aske; dyngen skal den brændes.

he shall take forth the entire bullock—unto the outside of the camp, unto a clean place unto the outpoured heap of fat-ashes, and shall burn it up on wood in the fire, —upon the outpoured heap of fat-ashes, shall it be burned up.

13 Men hvis det et hele Israels Menighed, der forser sig, uden at Forsamlingen ved af det, og de har overtrådt et af HERRENs Forbud og derved pådraget sig Skyld,

And, if the whole assembly of Israel, shall make a mistake, and a matter be hidden from the eyes of the convocation, —and so they do something, whereby they depart from any of the commandments of Yahweh as to things which should not be done, and become guilty;

14 da skal Forsamlingen, når den Synd, de har begået mod Forbudet, bliver kendt, bringe en ung, lydefri Tyr som Syndoffer; de skal føre den hen foran Åbenbaringsteltet,

and the sin shall become known, which they have committed therein, then shall the convocation bring near a choice young bullock as a sin-bearer, yea they shall bring it in. before the tent of meeting;

15 og Menighedens Ældste skal lægge deres Hænder på Tyrens Hoved for HERRENs Åsyn, og man skal slagte den for HERRENs Åsyn.

and the elders of the assembly shall lean their hands upon the head of the bullock before Yahweh, —and shall slay the bullock, before Yahweh;

16 Derpå skal den salvede Præst bringe noget af Tyrens Blod ind i Åbenbaringsteltet,

and the anointed priest shall bring in of the blood of the bullock, —into the tent of meeting;

17 og Præsten skal dyppe sin Finger i Blodet og stænke det syv Gange for HERRENs Åsyn foran Forhænget;

and the priest shall dip his finger in the blood, —and shall sprinkle of the blood seven times before Yahweh, upon the face of the veil;

18 og han skal stryge noget af Blodet på Hornene af Alteret, som står for HERRENs Åsyn i Åbenbaringsteltet; Resten af Blodet skal han udgyde ved Foden af Brændofferalteret, som står ved Indgangen til Åbenbaringsteltet,

and, some of the blood, shall he put upon the horns of the altar which is before Yahweh, which is in the tent of meeting; and, all the [remainder of the] blood, shall he pour out at the base of the altar of ascending-sacrifice, which is at the entrance of the tent of meeting;

19 Men alt, Fedtet skal han tage ud og bringe det som Røgoffer på Alteret.

and, as for all the fat thereof, he shall heave up therefrom, —and make a perfume at the altar.

20 Derpå skal han gøre med Tyren på samme Måde som med den før nævnte Syndoffertyr. Da skal Præsten skaffe dem Soning, så de finder Tilgivelse.

And he shall do to the bullock, as he did to the [first] sin-bearing bullock, so shall he do with this, —and the priest shall put a propitiatory-covering over them, and it shall be forgiven them.

21 Så skal Tyren bringes uden for Lejren og brændes på samme Måde som den før nævnte Tyr. Det er Menighedens Syndoffer.

And he shall take forth the bullock unto the outside of the camp, and burn it up, just as he burned up the first bullock, —the sin-bearer of the convocation, it is.

22 Men hvis det er en Øverste. der forsynder sig og af Vanvare overtræder et af HERRENs Forbud og derved på drager sig Skyld,

When a prince, shall sin, —and shall do something, departing from any of the commandments of Yahweh his God as to things which should not be done, by mistake and shall become aware of his guilt;

23 og den Synd, han har begået, bliver ham vitterlig, så skal den Offergave, han bringer, være en lydefri Gedebuk.

or his sin wherein he hath sinned be made known unto him, then shall he bring in. as his oblation a he-goat a male without defect;

24 Han skal lægge sin Hånd på Bukkens Hoved og slagte den der, hvor Brændofferet slagtes for HERRENs Åsyn. Det er et Syndoffer.

and shall lean his hand upon the head of the goat, and shall slay it in the place where they slay the ascending-sacrifice before Yahweh, —a sin-bearer, it is.

25 Præsten skal tage noget af Syndofferets Blod på sin Finger og stryge det på Brændofferalterets Horn, og Resten af Blodet skal han udgyde ved Brændofferalterets Fod.

And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin-bearer with his finger, and put upon the horns of the altar of ascending-sacrifice; and, the [remainder of the] blood thereof, shall he pour out at the base of the altar of ascending-sacrifice;

26 Og alt dets Fedt skal han bringe som Røgoffer på Alteret ligesom Fedtet fra Takofferet. Da skal Præsten skaffe ham Soning for hans Synd, så han finder Tilgivelse.

and with all the fat thereof, shall he make a perfume at the altar, as with the fat of the peace-offering, —so shall the priest put a propitiatory-covering over him because of his sin, and it shall be forgiven him.

27 Men hvis det er en af Almuen, der af Vanvare forsynder sig ved at overtræde et af HERRENs Forbud og derved pådrager sig Skyld,

And, if, any person, shall sin, by mistake from among the people of the land, —by his doing anything departing from any of the commandments of Yahweh, as to things which should not be done, and shall become aware of his guilt;

28 og den Synd, han har begået, bliver ham vitterlig, så skal Offergaven, han bringer for den Synd, han har begået, være en lydefri Ged.

or his sin which he hath committed shall be made known unto, him, then shall he bring in, as his oblation, a kid of the goats a female, without defect, for his sin which he hath committed;

29 Han skal lægge sin Hånd på Syndofferets Hoved og slagte Syndofferet der, hvor Brændofferet slagtes.

and shall lean his hand upon the head of the sin-bearer, —and shall slay the sin-bearer in the place of the ascending-sacrifice.

30 Præsten skal tage noget af Gedens Blod på sin Finger og stryge det på Brændofferalterets Horn, og Resten af Blodet skal han udgyde ved Alterets Fod.

Then shall the priest take of the blood thereof with his finger, and put upon the horns of the altar of ascending-sacrifice, —and all the [remaining] blood thereof, shall he pour out, at the base of the altar;

31 Og alt Fedtet skal han tage ud, på samme Måde som Fedtet tages ud af Takofferet, og Præsten skal bringe det som Røgoffer på Alteret til en liflig Duft for HERREN. Da skal Præsten skaffe ham Soning, så han finder Tilgivelse.

and all the fat thereof, shall he remove as the fat from off the peace-offering was removed, and the priest shall make a perfume at the altar, for a satisfying odour unto Yahweh, —so shall the priest put a propitiatory-covering over him, and it shall be forgiven him.

32 Men hvis den Offergave, han vil bringe som Syndoffer, er et Lam, da skal det være et lydefrit Hundyr, han bringer.

And, if a lamb, he bring in. as his oblation for a sin-bearer, a female without defect, shall he bring in;

33 Han skal lægge sin Hånd på Syndofferets Hoved og slagte det som Syndoffer der, hvor Brændofferet slagtes.

and shall lean his hand upon the head of the sin-bearer, —and shall slay it as a sin-bearer, in the place where they slay the ascending-sacrifice.

34 Og Præsten skal tage noget af Syndofferets Blod på sin Finger og stryge det på Brændofferalterets Horn, men Resten af Blodet skal han udgyde ved Alterets fod,

Then shall the priest take of the blood of the sin-bearer with his finger, and put upon the horns of the altar of ascending-sacrifice, —and all the [remaining] blood thereof, shall he pour out, at the base of the altar;

35 og alt Fedtet skal han tage ud, på samme Måde som Takofferlammets Fedt tages ud, og Præsten skal bringe det som Røgoffer på Alteret oven på HERRENs Ildofre. Da skal Præsten skaffe ham Soning for den Synd, han har begået, så han finder Tilgivelse.

and all the fat thereof, shall he remove as the fat of the lamb is removed, from the peace-offering, and the priest shall make a perfume therewith at the altar, upon the altar-flames of Yahweh, —so shall the priest put a propitiatory-covering over him on account of his sin which he hath committed, and it shall be forgiven him.
