Jeremias 24

1 HERREN lod mig skue et syn, og se, der var to kurve, som stod foran HERRENs Tempel: det var, efter at Kong Nebukadrezar af Babel havde bortført Jojakims Søn, Kong Jekonja af Juda, og Judas Fyrster, Kunsthåndværkerne og Smedene fra Jerusalem til Babel.

2 Den ene kurv indeholdt såre gode Figener, så gode som tidligmodne, den anden såre slette Figener, så slette, at de ikke kunde spises.

[the] pot one fig pleasant much like/as fig [the] early fig and [the] pot one fig bad: harmful much which not to eat from evil

3 Og HERREN sagde til mig: "Hvad ser du, Jeremias?" Jeg svarede: "Figener! De gode er såre gode og de slette såre slette, så slette, at de ikke kan spises."

4 Da kom HERRENs Ord til mig således:

and to be word LORD to(wards) me to/for to say

5 Så siger HERREN, Israels Gud: Som man ser på disse gode Figener, vil jeg se på de bortførte Judæere, som jeg drev bort fra dette Sted til Kaldæernes Land.

thus to say LORD God Israel like/as fig [the] pleasant [the] these so to recognize [obj] captivity Judah which to send: depart from [the] place [the] this land: country/planet Chaldea to/for welfare

6 Jeg vil fæste mine Øjne på dem med Velbehag og føre dem hjem til dette Land. Jeg vil opbygge og ikke nedbryde dem, plante og ikke oprykke dem.

and to set: make eye my upon them to/for welfare and to return: return them upon [the] land: country/planet [the] this and to build them and not to overthrow and to plant them and not to uproot

7 Jeg giver dem Hjerte til at kende mig, at jeg er HERREN; de skal være mit Folk, og jeg vil være deres Gud, når de omvender sig til mig af hele deres Hjerte.

and to give: give to/for them heart to/for to know [obj] me for I LORD and to be to/for me to/for people and I to be to/for them to/for God for to return: return to(wards) me in/on/with all heart their

8 Men som man, gør med de slette Figener, for slette til at spises, vil jeg, så siger HERREN, gøre med Kong Zedekias af Juda og hans Fyrster og Resten af Jerusalem, dem, der er levnet i dette Land, og dem, der bor i Ægypten;

9 jeg gør dem til Rædsel for alle Jordens Riger, til Spot og Mundheld, til Hån og til et Forbandelsens Tegn på alle de Steder, hvorhen jeg bortstøder dem;

and to give: make them (to/for horror *Q(K)*) to/for distress: evil to/for all kingdom [the] land: country/planet to/for reproach and to/for proverb to/for taunt and to/for curse in/on/with all [the] place which to banish them there

10 jeg sender Sværd, Hunger og Pest imod dem, indtil de er udryddet af det Land, jeg gav dem og deres Fædre.
