Esajas 8

1 Og HERREN sagde til mig: "Tag dig en stor Tavle og skriv derpå med Menneskeskrift: Hurtigt-Bytte, Hastigt-Rov!,

And he said Yahweh to me take yourself a tablet large and write on it with a stylus of a person Maher-Shalal-Hash-Baz.

2 Og tag mig pålidelige Vidner, Præsten Urija og Zekarja, Jeberekjahus Søn!"

And I will call as witness for myself witnesses reliable Uriah the priest and Zechariah [the] son of Jeberekiah.

3 Og jeg nærmede mig Profetinden, og hun blev frugtsommelig og fødte en Søn. Så sagde HERREN til mig: "Kald ham Hurtigt-Bytte, Hastigt-Rov!

And I drew near to the prophetess and she conceived and she bore a son and he said Yahweh to me call name his Maher-Shalal-Hash-Baz.

4 Thi før Drengen kan sige Fader og Moder, skal Rigdommene fra Damaskus og Byttet fra Samaria bringes til Assyrerkongen!"

For before he will know the lad to call out O father my and O mother my someone will carry off - [the] wealth of Damascus and [the] plunder of Samaria before [the] king of Assyria.

5 Fremdeles sagde HERREN til mig:

And he repeated Yahweh to speak to me again saying.

6 Eftersom dette Folk lader hånt om Siloas sagte rindende Vande i Angst for Bezin og Remaljas Søn,

Because for it has rejected the people this [the] waters of Shiloah which go to gentleness and rejoicing with Rezin and [the] son of Remaliah.

7 se, så lader Herren Flodens Vande, de vældige, store, oversvømme dem, Assyrerkongen og al hans Herlighed; over alle sine Bredder skal den gå, trænge ud over alle sine Diger,

And therefore there! [the] Lord [is] about to bring up on them [the] waters of the River mighty and many [the] king of Assyria and all glory his and it will rise over all channels its and it will go over all banks its.

8 styrte ind i Juda, skylle over, vælte frem og nå til Halsen; og dens udbredte Vinger skal fylde dit Land, så vidt det når Immanuel!

And it will pass on in Judah it will overflow and it will pass over to [the] neck it will reach and it will be [the] spreading of wings its [the] fullness of [the] breadth of land your O Immanu-el.

9 I Folkeslag, mærk jer det med Rædsel, lyt til, alle fjerne Lande: Rust jer, I skal ræddes, rust jer, I skal ræddes.

Be bad O peoples and be shattered and give ear O all [the] distant places of [the] earth gird yourselves and be shattered gird yourselves and be shattered.

10 Læg Råd op, det skal dog briste, gør Aftale, det slår dog fejl, thi - Immanuel!

Plan a plan so it may be frustrated speak a word and not it will stand for [is] with us God.

11 Thi så sagde HERREN til mig, da hans Hånd greb mig med Vælde, og han advarede mig mod at vandre på dette Folks Vej:

For thus he said Yahweh to me according to [the] strength of the hand and he will instruct me from walking in [the] way of the people this saying.

12 Kald ikke alt Sammensværgelse, hvad dette Folk kalder Sammensværgelse, frygt ikke, hvad det frygter, og ræddes ikke!

Not you must say! conspiracy of all that it is saying the people this conspiracy and fear its not you must fear and not you must regard with awe.

13 Hærskarers HERRE, ham skal I holde hellig, han skal være eders Frygt, han skal være eders Rædsel.

Yahweh of hosts him you will regard as holy and he [will be] fear your and he [the] [one whom] regard with awe you.

14 Han bliver en Helligdom, en Anstødssten og en Klippe til Fald for begge Israels Huse og en Snare og et Fangegarn for Jerusalems Indbyggere,

And he will become a sanctuary and a stone of striking and a rock of stumbling for [the] two [the] houses of Israel a trap and a snare for [the] inhabitant[s] of Jerusalem.

15 og mange iblandt dem skal snuble, falde og kvæstes, fanges og bindes.

And they will stumble over them many [people] and they will fall and they will be broken and they will be ensnared and they will be captured.

16 Bind Vidnesbyrdet til og sæt Segl for Læren i mine disciples Sind!

Bind up [the] testimony seal up [the] instruction among disciples my.

17 Jeg bier på HERREN, han, som dølger sit Åsyn for Jakobs Hus, til ham står mit Håb:

And I will wait for Yahweh who is hiding face his from [the] house of Jacob and I will wait eagerly for him.

18 Se, jeg og de Børn, HERREN gav mig, er Varsler og Tegn i Israel fra Hærskarers HERRE, som bor på Zions Bjerg.

Here! I and the children whom he has given to me Yahweh for signs and for portents in Israel from with Yahweh of hosts who dwells on [the] mountain of Zion.

19 Og siger de til eder: "Søg Genfærdene og Ånderne, som hvisker og mumler!" skal et Folk ikke søge sin Gud, skal man søge de døde for de levende?

And if they will say to you consult the necromancers and the soothsayers who whisper and who mutter ¿ not a people God its will it consult for the living the dead.

20 Nej! Til Læren og Vidnesbyrdet! Således skal visselig de komme til at tale, som nu er uden Morgenrøde.

To [the] instruction and to [the] testimony if not they will speak according to the manner this that not [belongs] to it dawn.

21 Han skal vanke om i Landet, trykket og hungrig. Og når han hungrer, skal han blive rasende og bande sin Konge og sin Gud. Vender han sig til det høje,

And it will pass in it hard pressed and hungry and it will be that it will be hungry and it will be enraged and it will curse king its and God its and it will turn upwards.

22 eller skuer han ud over Jorden, se da er der Trængsel og Mørke, knugende Mulm; i Bælgmørke er han stødt ud.

And to [the] earth it will look and there! trouble and darkness gloom of distress and gloom [it is] thrust out.
