5 Mosebog 29

1 Det er den Pagts Ord, som HERREN bød Moses at slutte med Israelitterne i Moabs Land foruden den Pagt, han havde sluttet med dem ved Horeb.

these word [the] covenant which to command LORD [obj] Moses to/for to cut: make(covenant) with son: descendant/people Israel in/on/with land: country/planet Moab from to/for alone: besides [the] covenant which to cut: make(covenant) with them in/on/with Horeb

2 Og Moses kaldte hele Israel sammen og sagde til dem: I har set alt, hvad HERREN i Ægypten for eders Øjne gjorde ved Farao og alle hans Tjenere og hele hans Land,

and to call: call to Moses to(wards) all Israel and to say to(wards) them you(m. p.) to see: see [obj] all which to make: do LORD to/for eye: before(the eyes) your in/on/with land: country/planet Egypt to/for Pharaoh and to/for all servant/slave his and to/for all land: country/planet his

3 de store Prøvelser, I så med egne Øjne, disse store Tegn og Undere.

[the] trial [the] great: large which to see: see eye your [the] sign: miraculous and [the] wonder [the] great: large [the] they(masc.)

4 Men hidindtil har HERREN ikke givet eder Hjerte til at forstå med eller Øjne til at se med eller Ører til at høre med.

and not to give: give LORD to/for you heart to/for to know and eye to/for to see: see and ear to/for to hear: hear till [the] day: today [the] this

5 I fyrretyve År har jeg ført eder om i Ørkenen; eders Klæder blev ikke slidt af Kroppen på eder, og dine Sko blev ikke slidt af Fødderne på dig;

and to go: take [obj] you forty year in/on/with wilderness not to become old garment your from upon you and sandal your not to become old from upon foot your

6 Brød fik I ikke at spise, og Vin og stærk Drik fik I ikke at drikke, for at I skulde kende, at jeg er HERREN eders Gud.

7 Og da I kom til Stedet her, drog Kong Sihon af Hesjbon og Kong Og af Basan ud til Kamp imod os, men vi slog dem

and to come (in): come to(wards) [the] place [the] this and to come out: come Sihon king Heshbon and Og king [the] Bashan to/for to encounter: toward us to/for battle and to smite them

8 og erobrede deres Land og gav Rubeniterne og Gaditerne og Manasses halve Stamme det til Arvelod.

and to take: take [obj] land: country/planet their and to give: give her to/for inheritance to/for Reubenite and to/for Gad and to/for half tribe [the] Manassite

9 Tag derfor Vare på denne Pagts Ord og gør efter dem, for at I kan få Lykke til al eders Gerning.

and to keep: obey [obj] word [the] covenant [the] this and to make: do [obj] them because be prudent [obj] all which to make: do [emph?]

10 I står i Dag alle for HERREN eders Guds Åsyn, eders Stammeoverhoveder, Dommere, Ældste og Tilsynsmænd, hver Mand i Israel,

11 eders Småbørn og Hustruer og de fremmede, der opholder sig i din Lejr, både dine Brændehuggere og Vandbærere,

child your woman: wife your and sojourner your which in/on/with entrails: among camp your from to chop tree: wood your till to draw water your

12 for at indtræde i HERREN din Guds Pagt og det Edsforbund, HERREN din Gud. i Dag slutter med dig,

to/for to pass you in/on/with covenant LORD God your and in/on/with oath his which LORD God your to cut: make(covenant) with you [the] day

13 for at han i dag kan gøre dig til sit Folk, så han bliver din Gud, som han lovede dig og tilsvor dine Fædre, Abraham, Isak og Jakob.

because to arise: establish [obj] you [the] day to/for him to/for people and he/she/it to be to/for you to/for God like/as as which to speak: promise to/for you and like/as as which to swear to/for father your to/for Abraham to/for Isaac and to/for Jacob

14 Og ikke med eder alene slutter jeg denne Pagt og dette Edsforbund,

and not with you to/for alone you I to cut: make(covenant) [obj] [the] covenant [the] this and [obj] [the] oath [the] this

15 men både med dem, der i Dag står her hos os for HERREN vor Guds Åsyn, og med dem, der i Dag ikke er til Stede hos os her.

for with which there he here with us to stand: stand [the] day to/for face: before LORD God our and with which nothing he here with us [the] day

16 Thi I ved jo selv, at vi boede i Ægypten, og at vi drog igennem de forskellige Folkeslags Lande,

for you(m. p.) to know [obj] which to dwell in/on/with land: country/planet Egypt and [obj] which to pass in/on/with entrails: among [the] nation which to pass

17 og I så deres væmmelige Guder og de Afgudsbilleder af Træ og Sten, af Sølv og Guld, som de har.

and to see: see [obj] abomination their and [obj] idol their tree: wood and stone silver: money and gold which with them

18 Så lad der da ikke iblandt eder findes nogen Mand eller Kvinde, Slægt eller Stamme, hvis Hjerte i Dag vender sig bort fra HERREN vor Gud, så de går hen og dyrker disse Folks Guder; lad der ikke iblandt eder nådes nogen Rod, hvoraf Gift og Malurt vokser op,

lest there in/on/with you man or woman or family or tribe which heart his to turn [the] day from from with LORD God our to/for to go: went to/for to serve: minister [obj] God [the] nation [the] they(masc.) lest there in/on/with you root be fruitful poison and wormwood

19 så at han, når han hører dette Edsforbunds Ord, i sit Hjerte lover sig selv alt godt og tænker: "Det skal nok gå mig vel, selv om jeg vandrer med genstridigt Hjerte!" Thi så vil han ødelægge både frodigt og tørt.

20 HERREN vil ikke tilgive den Mand, nej, hans Vrede og Nidkærhed skal blusse op mod sådan en Mand, og al den Forbandelse, der er optegnet i denne Bog, vil lægge sig på ham, og HERREN vil udslette hans Navn under Himmelen!

21 HERREN vil udskille ham af alle Israels Stammer og bringe Ulykke over ham i Overensstemmelse med alle de Pagtens Forbandelser, som er skrevet i denne Lovbog.

and to separate him LORD to/for distress: harm from all tribe Israel like/as all oath [the] covenant [the] to write in/on/with scroll: book [the] instruction [the] this

22 Og når den kommende Slægt, eders Børn, der kommer efter eder. og de fremmede, der kommer langvejsfra, ser de Plager, der har ramt dette Land, og de Sygdomme, HERREN har hjemsøgt det med,

and to say [the] generation [the] last son: child your which to arise: rise from after you and [the] foreign which to come (in): come from land: country/planet distant and to see: see [obj] wound [the] land: country/planet [the] he/she/it and [obj] disease her which be weak: ill LORD in/on/with her

23 Svovl og Salt, hele Landet afsvedet, så det ikke kan tilsåes og ingen Afgrøde give, og ingen Urter kan gro deri, som dengang Sodoma og Gomorra, Adma og Zebojim blev ødelagt, da HERREN lod dem gå under i sin Vrede og Harme, da skal de spørge,

brimstone and salt fire all land: country/planet her not to sow and not to spring and not to ascend: rise in/on/with her all vegetation like/as overthrow Sodom and Gomorrah Admah (and Zeboiim *Q(k)*) which to overturn LORD in/on/with face: anger his and in/on/with rage his

24 og alle Folkeslag skal spørge: "Hvorfor har HERREN handlet således med dette Land? Hvorledes hænger det sammen med denne vældige Vredesglød?"

and to say all [the] nation upon what? to make: do LORD thus to/for land: country/planet [the] this what? burning [the] face: anger [the] great: large [the] this

25 Så skal man svare: "Det er, fordi de sveg den Pagt, HERREN, deres Fædres Gud, havde sluttet med dem, da han førte dem ud af Ægypten,

and to say upon which to leave: forsake [obj] covenant LORD God father their which to cut: make(covenant) with them in/on/with to come out: send he [obj] them from land: country/planet Egypt

26 og gik hen og dyrkede fremmede Guder og tilbad dem, Guder, som de ikke før havde kendt til, og som han ikke havde tildelt dem;

and to go: went and to serve: minister God another and to bow to/for them God which not to know them and not to divide to/for them

27 derfor blussede HERRENs Vrede op imod dette Land, så han lod al den Forbandelse, som er optegnet i denne Bog, komme over det,

and to be incensed face: anger LORD in/on/with land: country/planet [the] he/she/it to/for to come (in): bring upon her [obj] all [the] curse [the] to write in/on/with scroll: book [the] this

28 og derfor oprykkede han dem fra deres Land i Vrede og Harme og heftig Forbitrelse og slængte dem ud i et fremmed Land, som det nu er sket."

and to uproot them LORD from upon land: soil their in/on/with face: anger and in/on/with rage and in/on/with wrath great: large and to throw them to(wards) land: country/planet another like/as day: today [the] this

29 De skjulte Ting er for HERREN vor Gud, men de åbenbare er for os og vore Børn evindelig, at vi må lære at handle efter alle denne Lovs Ord!
