Kolossensern 3
1 Når I altså, ere blevne oprejste med Kristus, da søger det, som er oventil, hvor Kristus sidder ved Guds højre Hånd.
IF, then, you have risen with the Meshiha, seek (the realities) which are on high, where the Meshiha sitteth at the right hand of Aloha.
2 Tragter efter det, som er oventil, ikke efter det, som er på Jorden.
Think of that which is on high, and not of that on earth.
3 Thi I ere døde, og eders Liv er skjult med Kristus i Gud.
For you are dead, and your life is hid with the Meshiha in Aloha;
4 Når Kristus, vort Liv, åbenbares, da skulle også I åbenbares med ham i Herlighed.
and when the Meshiha, who is our life, shall be manifested, then also will you be manifested with him in glory.
5 Så døder da de jordiske Lemmer, Utugt Urenhed, Brynde, ondt Begær og Havesygen, som jo er Afgudsdyrkelse;
Put to death, then, your members that are upon the earth: fornication, uncleanness, and passions, and evil desires, and covetousness, which itself is idolatry.
6 for disse Tings Skyld kommer Guds Vrede.
For on account of these cometh the anger of Aloha upon the sons of disobedience.
7 I dem vandrede også I fordum, da I levede deri.
In these also you walked aforetime, when you were conversant in them.
8 Men nu skulle også I aflægge det alt sammen, Vrede, Hidsighed, Ondskab, Forhånelse, slem Snak af eders Mund.
But now cease you from all these; anger, wrath, malice, reviling, impure speech:
9 Lyver ikke for hverandre, da I have afført eder det gamle Menneske med dets Gerninger
and lie not one to another, but put off the old man with all his manners,
10 og iført eder det nye, som fornyes til Erkendelse efter hans Billede, der skabte det;
and wear the new, who is renovated by knowledge in the image of his Creator,
11 hvor der ikke er Græker og Jøde, Omskærelse og Forhud, Barbar, Skyther, Træl, fri, men Kristus er alt og i alle.
where there is not Jihudoya and Aramoya, nor circumcision and uncircumcision, nor Javanoya and Barbaroya, nor slave and freeman, but the Meshiha is all and in all.
12 Så ifører eder da som Guds udvalgte, hellige og elskede inderlig Barmhjertighed, Godhed, Ydmyghed, Sagtmodighed, Langmodighed,
Wear, therefore, as the chosen of Aloha, saints and beloved, compassions and tenderness, and benignity, and lowliness of mind, and composure, and patience.
13 så I bære over med hverandre og tilgive hverandre, dersom nogen har Klagemål imod nogen; ligesom Kristus tilgav eder, således også I!
And bear with one another, and forgive one another, if any man have a complaint against his neighbour; even as the Meshiha hath forgiven you, so also forgive;
14 Men over alt dette skulle I iføre eder Kærligheden, hvilket er Fuldkommenhedens Bånd.
and with all these charity, which is the girdle of perfection.
15 Og Kristi Fred råde i eders Hjerter, til hvilken I også bleve kaldede i eet Legeme; og vorder taknemmelige!
And let the peace of the Meshiha direct your hearts, for to it you have been called in one body; and give thanks to the Meshiha,
16 Lad Kristi Ord bo rigeligt iblandt eder, så I med al Visdom lære og påminde hverandre med Salmer, Lovsange og åndelige Viser, idet I synge med Ynde i eders Hjerter for Gud.
whose word shall dwell in you abundantly, in all wisdom. And teach and admonish yourselves in psalms and in hymns and in songs of the Spirit, and with grace sing with your hearts unto Aloha.
17 Og alt, hvad I gøre i Ord eller i Handling, det gører alt i den Herres Jesu Navn, takkende Gud Fader ved ham.
And whatsoever you do, either in word or work, do (it) in the name of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha, and with thanksgiving through him unto Aloha the Father.
18 I Hustruer! underordner eder under eders Mænd, som det sømmer sig i Herren.
WIVES, be subject to your husbands, as it is right in the Meshiha.
19 I Mænd! elsker eders Hustruer, og værer ikke bitre imod dem!
Men, love your wives, and be not bitter against them.
20 I Børn! adlyder i alle Ting eders Forældre, thi dette er velbehageligt i Herren.
Children, obey your parents in every thing, for so it is pleasing before our Lord.
21 I Fædre! opirrer ikke eders Børn, for at de ikke skulle tabe Modet.
Fathers, exasperate not your children, that they be not discouraged.
22 I Trælle! adlyder i alle Ting eders Herrer efter Kødet, ikke med Øjentjeneste som de, der ville tækkes Mennesker, men i Hjertets Enfold, frygtende Herren.
Servants, obey in every thing your masters according to the flesh, not in the sight of the eye (only), as those who please men, but from a simple heart, and in the fear of the Lord.
23 Hvad I end foretage eder, så gører det af Hjertet, som for Herren og ikke for Mennesker,
And all that you do, from all your heart do (it), as to our Lord, and not as to men.
24 da I vide, at I af Herren skulle få Arven til Vederlag; det er den Herre Kristus, I tjene.
And know that from our Lord you receive the reward in the inheritance; for the Lord the Meshiha you serve.
25 Thi den, som gør Uret, skal få igen, hvad Uret han gjorde, og der er ikke Persons Anseelse.
But he who injureth is recompensed as he had injured, and there is no acceptance of persons.
