< Salme 67 >

1 Til Sangmesteren. Med Strengespil. En Salme. En Sang.
God, be merciful to us and bless us; be kind to us [IDM],
2 Gud være os naadig og velsigne os, han lade sit Ansigt lyse over os, (Sela)
in order that [everyone in] the world may know what you want them to do, and [the people of] all nations may know that you [have the power to] save [them].
3 for at din Vej maa kendes paa Jorden, din Frelse blandt alle Folk.
God, I desire that [all] people-groups [will] praise you; I want them all to praise you!
4 Folkeslag skal takke dig, Gud, alle Folkeslag takke dig;
I desire that [the people of all] nations will be glad and sing joyfully, because you judge the people-groups equally/justly, and you guide [all] nations in the world.
5 Folkefærd skal glædes og juble, thi med Retfærd dømmer du Folkeslag, leder Folkefærd paa Jorden. (Sela)
God, I desire that the people-groups [will] praise you; I want them all to praise you!
6 Folkeslag skal takke dig, Gud, alle Folkeslag takke dig!
Good crops have grown on our land; God, our God, has blessed us.
7 Landet har givet sin Grøde, Gud, vor Gud, velsigne os, Gud velsigne os, saa den vide Jord maa frygte ham!
[And because] God has blessed us, I desire that all [people] everywhere [MTY] on the earth will revere him.
