Salme 25
1 Af David. HERRE, jeg løfter min Sjæl til dig,
Of David to you O Yahweh desire my I lift up.
2 min Gud, jeg stoler paa dig, lad mig ikke beskæmmes, lad ej mine Fjender fryde sig over mig.
O God my in you I trust may not I be ashamed may not they exult enemies my to me.
3 Nej, ingen som bier paa dig, skal beskæmmes; beskæmmes skal de, som er troløse uden Grund.
Also all [those who] wait for you not they will be ashamed they will be ashamed those [who] act treacherously in vain.
4 Lad mig kende dine Veje, HERRE, lær mig dine Stier.
Ways your O Yahweh make known to me paths your teach me.
5 Led mig paa din Sandheds Vej og lær mig, thi du er min Frelses Gud; jeg bier bestandig paa dig.
Lead me in truth your - and teach me for you [are] [the] God of salvation my you I have waited for all the day.
6 HERRE, kom din Barmhjertighed i Hu og din Naade, den er jo fra Evighed af.
Remember compassion your O Yahweh and covenant loyalti your for [are] from long ago they.
7 Mine Ungdomssynder og Overtrædelser komme du ikke i Hu, men efter din Miskundhed kom mig i Hu, for din Godheds Skyld, o HERRE!
[the] sins of Youth my - and transgressions my may not you remember according to covenant loyalty your remember me you on account of goodness your O Yahweh.
8 God og oprigtig er HERREN, derfor viser han Syndere Vejen.
[is] good And upright Yahweh there-fore he teaches sinners the way.
9 Han vejleder ydmyge i det, som er ret, og lærer de ydmyge sin Vej.
He leads humble [people] in justice so he may teach humble [people] way his.
10 Alle HERRENS Stier er Miskundhed og Trofasthed for dem, der holder hans Pagt og hans Vidnesbyrd.
All [the] paths of Yahweh [are] covenant loyalty and faithfulness to [those who] keep covenant his and testimonies his.
11 For dit Navns Skyld, HERRE, tilgive du min Brøde, thi den er stor.
For [the] sake of name your O Yahweh you will forgive iniquity my for [is] great it.
12 Om nogen frygter HERREN, ham viser han den Vej, han skal vælge;
Who? this [is] the person fearing Yahweh he teaches him [the] way [which] he will choose.
13 selv skal han leve i Lykke og hans Sæd faa Landet i Eje.
Self his in good it will remain and offspring his it will possess [the] land.
14 Fortroligt Samfund har HERREN med dem, der frygter ham, og han kundgør dem sin Pagt.
[the] counsel of Yahweh [belongs] to [those] fearing him and covenant his to make known to them.
15 Mit Øje er stadig vendt imod HERREN, thi han frier mine Fødder af Snaren.
Eyes my continually [are] to Yahweh for he he will bring out from [the] net feet my.
16 Vend dig til mig og vær mig naadig, thi jeg er ene og arm.
Turn to me and show favor to me for [am] solitary and afflicted I.
17 Let mit Hjertes Trængsler og før mig ud af min Nød.
[the] troubles of Heart my they have made wide from distresses my deliver me.
18 Se hen til min Nød og min Kvide og tilgiv alle mine Synder.
Consider affliction my and trouble my and forgive to all sins my.
19 Se hen til mine Fjender, thi de er mange og hader mig med Had uden Grund.
Consider enemies my for they have become many and hatred of violence they have hated me.
20 Vogt min Sjæl og frels mig, jeg lider paa dig, lad mig ikke beskæmmes.
Preserve! life my and deliver me may not I be put to shame for I have taken refuge in you.
21 Lad Uskyld og Retsind vogte mig, thi jeg bier paa dig, HERRE.
Integrity and uprightness may they preserve me for I have waited for you. (Yahweh *X*)
22 Forløs, o Gud, Israel af alle dets Trængsler!
redeem O God Israel from all troubles its.
