Nehemias 12
1 Følgende er Præsterne og Leviter, der drog op med Zerubbabel, Sjealtiels Søn, og Jesua: Seraja, Jirmeja, Ezra,
Now these are the priests and the Levites who went up with Zerubbabel, the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua: Seraiah, Jeremiah, Ezra,
2 Amarja, Malluk, Hattusj.
Amariah, Malluch, Hattush,
3 Sjekanja, Harim, Meremot,
Shecaniah, Rehum, Meremoth,
4 Iddo, Ginnetoj, Abija,
Iddo, Ginnethoi, Abijah,
5 Mijjamin, Ma'adja, Bilga,
Mijamin, Maadiah, Bilgah,
6 Sjemaja, Jojarib, Jedaja,
Shemaiah, and Joiarib, Jedaiah,
7 Sallu, Amok, Hilkija og Jedaja. Det var Overhovederne for Præsterne og deres Brødre paa Jesuas Tid.
Sallu, Amok, Hilkiah, Jedaiah. These were the chiefs of the priests and of their brothers in the days of Jeshua.
8 Leviterne: Jesua, Binnuj, Kadmiel, Sjerebja, Juda, Mattanja, der sammen med sine Brødre forestod Lovsangen,
And the Levites: Jeshua, Binnui, Kadmiel, Sherebiah, Judah, and Mattaniah, who was over the music-makers, he and his brothers.
9 medens Bakbukja og Unni sammen med deres Brødre stod over for dem efter deres Afdelinger.
And Bakbukiah and Unno, their brothers, were opposite them in their watches.
10 Jesua avlede Jojakim, Jojakim avlede Eljasjib, Eljasjib avlede Jojada,
And Jeshua was the father of Joiakim, and Joiakim was the father of Eliashib, and Eliashib was the father of Joiada,
11 Jojada avlede Johanan, og Johanan avlede Jaddua.
And Joiada was the father of Jonathan, and Jonathan was the father of Jaddua.
12 Paa Jojakims Tid var Overhovederne for Præsternes Fædrenehuse følgende: Meraja for Seraja, Hananja for Jirmeja,
And in the days of Joiakim there were priests, heads of families: of Seraiah, Meraiah; of Jeremiah, Hananiah;
13 Mesjullam for Ezra, Johanan for Amarja,
Of Ezra, Meshullam; of Amariah, Jehohanan;
14 Jonatan for Malluk, Josef for Sjebanja,
Of Malluchi, Jonathan; of Shebaniah, Joseph;
15 Adna for Harim, Helkaj for Merajot,
Of Harim, Adna; of Meraioth, Helkai;
16 Zekarja for Iddo, Mesjullam for Ginneton,
Of Iddo, Zechariah; of Ginnethon, Meshullam;
17 Zikri for Abija, .... for Minjamin, Piltaj for Ma'adja,
Of Abijah, Zichri; of Miniamin, of Moadiah, Piltai;
18 Sjammua for Bilga, Jonatan for Sjemaja,
Of Bilgah, Shammua; of Shemaiah, Jehonathan;
19 Mattenaj for Jojarib, Uzzi for Jedaja,
And of Joiarib, Mattenai; of Jedaiah, Uzzi;
20 Kallaj for Sallu, Eber for Amok,
Of Sallai, Kallai; of Amok, Eber;
21 Hasjabja for Hilkija og Netan'el for Jedaja.
Of Hilkiah, Hashabiah; of Jedaiah, Nethanel.
22 Leviterne: .... . I Eljasjibs, Jojadas, Johanans og Jadduas Dage optegnedes Overhovederne for Fædrenehusene og Præsterne indtil Perseren Darius's Regering.
The Levites in the days of Eliashib, Joiada, and Johanan, and Jaddua, were listed as heads of families; and the priests, when Darius the Persian was king.
23 Af Levis Efterkommere optegnedes Overhovederne for Fædrenehusene i Krønikebogen ned til Johanans, Eljasjibs Søns, Dage.
The sons of Levi, heads of families, were recorded in the book of the histories, even till the days of Johanan, the son of Eliashib.
24 Og Leviternes Overhoveder var: Hasjabja, Sjerebja, Jesua, Binnuj, Kadmiel og deres Brødre, der stod over for dem for at synge Lovsangen og Takkesangen efter den Guds Mand Davids Bud, den ene Afdeling efter den anden;
And the chiefs of the Levites: Hashabiah, Sherebiah, and Jeshua, the son of Kadmiel, with their brothers opposite them, to give blessing and praise as ordered by David, the man of God, watch against watch.
25 og Mattanja, Bakbukja og Obadja, Mesjullam, Talmon og Akkub var Dørvogtere og holdt Vagt ved Portenes Forraadskamre.
Mattaniah, and Bakbukiah, Obadiah, Meshullam, Talmon, Akkub, were door-keepers keeping the watch at the store-houses of the doors.
26 Disse var Overhoveder paa Jojakims Tid, en Søn af Jesua, en Søn af Jozadak, og paa Statholderen Nehemias's og Præsten Ezra den Skriftlærdes Tid.
These were in the days of Joiakim, the son of Jeshua, the son of Jozadak, and in the days of Nehemiah the ruler and of Ezra the priest, the scribe.
27 Da Jerusalems Mur skulde indvies, opsøgte man Leviterne alle Vegne, hvor de boede, og bragte dem til Jerusalem, for at de skulde fejre Indvielsen med Fryd og Takkesang, med Sang, Cymbler, Harper og Citre.
And when the time came for the wall of Jerusalem to be made holy, they sent for the Levites out of all their places to come to Jerusalem, to keep the feast with joy, and with praise and melody, with brass and corded instruments of music.
28 Da samledes Sangerne fra Egnen om Jerusalem og fra Netofatiternes Landsbyer,
And the sons of the music-makers came together from the lowland round about Jerusalem and from the daughter-towns of the Netophathites,
29 fra Bet-Gilgal, fra Gebas og Azmavets Marker; thi Sangerne havde bygget sig Landsbyer rundt om Jerusalem.
And from Beth-gilgal and from the fields of Geba and Azmaveth: for the music-makers had made daughter-towns for themselves round about Jerusalem.
30 Da Præsterne og Leviterne havde renset sig, rensede de Folket, Portene og Muren.
And the priests and the Levites made themselves clean; and they made the people clean, and the doorways and the wall.
31 Saa lod jeg Judas Øverster stige op paa Muren og opstillede to store Lovprisningstog. Det ene drog til højre oven paa Muren ad Møgporten til,
Then I made the rulers of Judah come up on the wall, and I put in position two great bands of them who gave praise, walking in ordered lines; one went to the right on the wall, in the direction of the doorway where the waste was put;
32 og med det fulgte Hosjaja og den ene Halvdel af Judas Øverster;
And after them went Hoshaiah and half of the rulers of Judah,
33 dernæst nogle af Præsterne med Trompeter, Azarja, Ezra, Mesjullam,
And Azariah, Ezra, and Meshullam,
34 Juda, Benjamin, Sjemaja og Jirmeja;
Judah and Benjamin and Shemaiah and Jeremiah,
35 endvidere Zekarja, en Søn af Jonatan, en Søn af Sjemaja, en Søn af Mattanja, en Søn af Mika, en Søn af Zakkur, en Søn af Asaf,
And certain of the priests' sons with wind instruments; Zechariah, the son of Jonathan, the son of Shemaiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Micaiah, the son of Zaccur, the son of Asaph,
36 og hans Brødre Sjemaja, Azar'el, Milalaj, Gilalaj, Ma'aj, Netan'el, Juda, Hanani med den Guds Mand Davids Musikinstrumenter, med Ezra den Skriftlærde i Spidsen;
And his brothers, Shemaiah, and Azarel, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethanel and Judah, Hanani, with the music-instruments of David, the man of God; and Ezra the scribe was at their head;
37 og de gik over Kildeporten; derpaa gik de lige ud op ad Trinene til Davidsbyen, ad Opgangen paa Muren oven for Davids Palads hen til Vandporten mod Øst.
And by the doorway of the fountain and straight in front of them, they went up by the steps of the town of David, at the slope up of the wall, over the house of David, as far as the water-doorway to the east.
38 Det andet Lovprisningstog, hvor jeg og den anden Halvdel af Folkets Øverster var med, drog til venstre oven paa Muren, over Ovntaarnet til den brede Mur
And the other band of those who gave praise went to the left, and I went after them with half the people, on the wall, over the tower of the ovens, as far as the wide wall;
39 og videre over Efraimsporten, den gamle Port, Fiskeporten, Hanan'eltaarnet og Meataarnet til Faareporten og stillede sig op i Fængselsporten.
And over the doorway of Ephraim and by the old door and the fish door and the tower of Hananel and the tower of Hammeah, as far as the sheep door: and at the doorway of the watchmen they came to a stop.
40 Derpaa stillede de to Lovprisningstog sig op i Guds Hus, jeg sammen med Halvdelen af Øversterne
So the two bands of those who gave praise took up their positions in the house of God, and I and half of the chiefs with me:
41 og Præsterne Eljakim, Ma'aseja, Minjamin, Mika, Eljoenaj, Zekarja, Hananja med Trompeter,
And the priests; Eliakim, Maaseiah, Miniamin, Micaiah, Elioenai, Zechariah, and Hananiah, with wind instruments;
42 endvidere Ma'aseja, Sjemaja, El'azar, Uzzi, Johanan, Malkija, Elam og Ezer. Og Sangerne stemte i, ledede af Jizraja.
And Maaseiah and Shemaiah and Eleazar and Uzzi and Jehohanan and Malchijah and Elam and Ezer. And the makers of melody made their voices loud, with Jezrahiah their overseer.
43 Paa den Dag ofrede de store Slagtofre og var glade, thi Gud havde bragt dem stor Glæde; ogsaa Kvinderne og Børnene var glade; og Glæden i Jerusalem hørtes langt bort.
And on that day they made great offerings and were glad; for God had made them glad with great joy; and the women and the children were glad with them: so that the joy of Jerusalem came to the ears of those who were far off.
44 Paa den Dag indsattes der Mænd til at have Tilsyn med de Kamre, der brugtes til Forraadene, Offerydelserne, Førstegrøden og Tienden, for i dem at opsamle de i Loven foreskrevne Afgifter til Præsterne og Leviterne fra de forskellige Bymarker, thi Juda glædede sig over Præsterne og Leviterne, der gjorde Tjeneste;
And on that day certain men were put over the rooms where the things which had been given were stored, for the lifted offerings and the first-fruits and the tenths, and to take into them the amounts, from the fields of every town, fixed by the law for the priests and the Levites: for Judah was glad on account of the priests and the Levites who were in their places.
45 og disse tog Vare paa, hvad der var at varetage for deres Gud og ved Renselsen, ligesom ogsaa Sangerne og Dørvogterne gjorde deres Gerning efter Davids og hans Søn Salomos Bud.
And they kept the watch of their God, and were responsible for making things clean, and so did the music-makers and the door-keepers, as it was ordered by David and Solomon his son.
46 Thi allerede paa Davids Tid var Asaf Leder for Sangerne og for Lov— og Takkesangene til Gud.
For in the days of David and Asaph in the past, there was a master of the music, and songs of blessing and praise to God.
47 Hele Israel gav paa Zerubbabels og Nehemias's Tid Afgifter til Sangerne og Dørvogterne, efter som det krævedes Dag for Dag; og de gav Leviterne Helliggaver, og Leviterne gav Arons Sønner Helliggaver.
And all Israel in the days of Zerubbabel and in the days of Nehemiah gave what was needed by the music-makers and the door-keepers day by day: and they made the offerings holy for the Levites; and the Levites did the same for the sons of Aaron.
