3 Mosebog 18
1 HERREN talede fremdeles til Moses og sagde:
And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
2 Tal til Israeliterne og sig til dem: Jeg er HERREN eders Gud!
Speak to the children of Israel, and thou shalt say to them, I [am] the Lord your God.
3 Som de handler i Ægypten, hvor I opholdt eder, maa I ikke handle, og som de handler i Kana'ans Land, hvor jeg fører eder hen, maa I ikke handle; I maa ikke vandre efter deres Anordninger.
Ye shall not do according to the devices of Egypt, in which ye dwelt: and according to the devices of the land of Chanaan, into which I bring you, ye shall not do; and ye shall not walk in their ordinances.
4 Efter mine Lovbud skal I handle, og mine Anordninger skal I holde, saa I vandrer efter dem; jeg er HERREN eders Gud!
Ye shall observe my judgments, and shall keep my ordinances, and shall walk in them: I [am] the Lord your God.
5 I skal holde mine Anordninger og Lovbud; det Menneske, der handler efter dem, skal leve ved dem. Jeg er HERREN!
So ye shall keep all my ordinances, and all my judgments, and do them; which if a man do, he shall live in them: I [am] the Lord your God.
6 Ingen af eder maa komme sine kødelige Slægtninge nær, saa han blotter deres Blusel. Jeg er HERREN!
No man shall draw nigh to any of his near kindred to uncover their nakedness; I [am] the Lord.
7 Din Faders og din Moders Blusel maa du ikke blotte; hun er din Moder, du maa ikke blotte hendes Blusel!
Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father, or the nakedness of thy mother, for she is thy mother; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.
8 Din Faders Hustrus Blusel maa du ikke blotte, det er din Faders Blusel.
Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father's wife; it is thy father's nakedness.
9 Din Søsters Blusel, hvad enten hun er din Faders eller din Moders Datter, hvad enten hun er født i eller uden for Hjemmet, hendes Blusel maa du ikke blotte.
The nakedness of thy sister by thy father or by thy mother, born at home or abroad, their nakedness thou shalt not uncover.
10 Din Sønnedatters eller Datterdatters Blusel maa du ikke blotte, det er din egen Blusel.
The nakedness of thy son's daughter, or thy daughter's daughter, their nakedness thou shalt not uncover; because it is thy nakedness.
11 En Datter, din Faders Hustru har med din Fader hun er din Søster hendes Blusel maa du ikke blotte.
Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of the daughter of thy father's wife; she is thy sister by the same father: thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.
12 Din Fasters Blusel maa du ikke blotte, hun er din Faders kødelige Slægtning.
Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father's sister, for she is near akin to thy father.
13 Din Mosters Blusel maa du ikke blotte, hun er din Moders kødelige Slægtning.
Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy mother's sister, for she is near akin to thy mother.
14 Din Farbroders Blusel maa du ikke blotte, du maa ikke komme hans Hustru nær, hun er din Faster.
Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father's brother, and thou shalt not go in to his wife; for she is thy relation.
15 Din Sønnekones Blusel maa du ikke blotte, hun er din Søns Hustru, du maa ikke blotte hendes Blusel.
Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy daughter-in-law, for she is thy son's wife, thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.
16 Din Broders Hustrus Blusel maa du ikke blotte, det er din Broders Blusel.
Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy brother's wife: it is thy brother's nakedness.
17 En Kvindes og hendes Datters Blusel maa du ikke blotte, heller ikke maa du ægte hendes Sønnedatter eller Datterdatter, saa at du blotter hendes Blusel; de er hendes kødelige Slægtninge; det er grov Utugt.
The nakedness of a woman and her daughter shalt thou not uncover; her son's daughter, and her daughter's daughter, shalt thou not take, to uncover their nakedness, for they are thy kinswomen: it is impiety.
18 Søster maa du ikke tage til Søsters Medhustru, saa længe Søsteren lever, saa du blotter baade den enes og den andens Blusel.
Thou shalt not take a wife in addition to her sister, as a rival, to uncover her nakedness in opposition to her, while she is yet living.
19 Du maa ikke komme en Kvinde nær under hendes maanedlige Urenhed, saa du blotter hendes Blusel.
And thou shalt not go in to a woman under separation for her uncleanness, to uncover her nakedness.
20 Med din Næstes Hustru maa du ikke have Samleje, saa du bliver uren ved hende.
And thou shalt not lie with thy neighbour's wife, to defile thyself with her.
21 Dit Afkom maa du ikke give hen til at ofres til Molok; du maa ikke vanhellige din Guds Navn. Jeg er HERREN!
And thou shalt not give of thy seed to serve a ruler; and thou shalt not profane my holy name; I [am] the Lord.
22 Hos en Mand maa du ikke ligge, som man ligger hos en Kvinde; det er en Vederstyggelighed.
And thou shalt not lie with a man as with a woman, for it is an abomination.
23 Med intet som helst Dyr maa du have Omgang, saa du bliver uren derved; en Kvinde maa ikke stille sig hen for et Dyr til kønslig Omgang; det er en Skændsel.
Neither shalt thou lie with any quadruped for copulation, to be polluted with it: neither shall a woman present herself before any quadruped to have connexion with it; for it is an abomination.
24 Gør eder ikke urene med noget saadant, thi med alt saadant har de Folkeslag, jeg driver bort foran eder, gjort sig urene.
Do not defile yourselves with any of these things; for in all these things the nations are defiled, which I drive out before you,
25 Derved blev Landet urent, og jeg straffede det for dets Brøde, og Landet udspyede sine Indbyggere.
and the land is polluted; and I have recompensed their iniquity to them because of it, and the land is aggrieved with them that dwell upon it.
26 Hold derfor mine Anordninger og Lovbud og øv ikke nogen af disse Vederstyggeligheder, det gælder baade den indfødte og den fremmede, der bor iblandt eder —
And ye shall keep all my statutes and all my ordinances, and ye shall do none of these abominations; neither the native, nor the stranger that joins himself with you:
27 thi alle disse Vederstyggeligheder øvede Indbyggerne, som var der før eder, og Landet blev urent —
(for all these abominations the men of the land did who were before you, and the land was defiled, )
28 for at ikke Landet skal udspy eder, naar I gør det urent, ligesom det udspyede det Folk, som var der før eder.
and lest the land be aggrieved with you in your polluting it, as it was aggrieved with the nations before you.
29 Thi enhver, som øver nogen af alle disse Vederstyggeligheder, de, der øver dem, skal udryddes af deres Folk.
For whosoever shall do any of these abominations, the souls that do them shall be destroyed from among their people.
30 Saa hold mine Forskrifter, saa I ikke øver nogen af de vederstyggelige Skikke, som øvedes før eders Tid, at I ikke skal gøre eder urene ved dem. Jeg er HERREN eders Gud!
And ye shall keep mine ordinances, that ye may not do any of the abominable practices, which have taken place before your time: and ye shall not be polluted in them; for I [am] the Lord your God.
