2 Mosebog 35

1 Moses kaldte hele Israeliternes Menighed sammen og sagde til dem: Dette er, hvad HERREN har paalagt eder at gøre:

Therefore, when all the multitude of the sons of Israel had gathered together, he said to them: “These are the things that the Lord has ordered to be done:

2 I seks Dage maa der arbejdes, men paa den syvende Dag skal I holde Helligdag, en fuldkommen Hviledag for HERREN. Enhver, der den Dag udfører noget Arbejde, skal lide Døden.

For six days you shall do work; the seventh day, the Sabbath and the rest of the Lord, will be holy to you; whoever will have done any work in it shall be killed.

3 Paa Sabbatsdagen maa I ikke gøre Ild i nogen af eders Boliger.

You shall not kindle a fire in any of your dwelling places throughout the day of the Sabbath.”

4 Derpaa sagde Moses til hele Israeliternes Menighed: Dette er, hvad HERREN har paabudt:

And Moses said to the entire crowd of the sons of Israel: “This is the word which the Lord has instructed, saying:

5 I skal tage en Offerydelse til HERREN af, hvad I ejer. Enhver, som i sit Hjerte føler sig tilskyndet dertil, skal komme med det, HERRENS Offerydelse, Guld, Sølv, Kobber,

Separate from among you the first-fruits to the Lord. Let all who are willing and have a ready soul offer these to the Lord: gold, and silver, and brass,

6 violet og rødt Purpurgarn, karmoisinrødt Garn, Byssus, Gedehaar,

hyacinth, and purple, and twice-dyed scarlet, and fine linen, the hair of goats,

7 rødfarvede Væderskind, Tahasjskind, Akacietræ,

and the skins of rams, dyed red, and violet skins, setim wood,

8 Olie til Lysestagen, vellugtende Stoffer til Salveolien og Røgelsen,

and oil to prepare lights and to produce ointment, and most sweet incense,

9 Sjohamsten og Ædelsten til Indfatning paa Efoden og Brystskjoldet.

onyx stones and gems, to adorn the ephod and the breastplate.

10 Og alle kunstforstandige Mænd iblandt eder skal komme og lave alt, hvad HERREN har paabudt:

And whoever among you is wise, let him come and make what the Lord has commanded:

11 Boligen med dens Teltdække og Dække, dens Kroge, Brædder, Tværstænger, Piller og Fodstykker,

the tabernacle, certainly, and its roof, and also the covering, the rings, and the panels with the bars, the tent pegs and the bases,

12 Arken med Bærestængerne, Sonedækket og det indre Forhæng,

the ark and its bars, the propitiatory, and the veil that is drawn before it,

13 Bordet med dets Bærestænger og alt dets Tilbehør og Skuebrødene,

the table with its bars and vessels, and the bread of the presence,

14 Lysestagen med dens Tilbehør, dens Lamper og Olien til Lysestagen,

the lampstand to hold up the lights, its vessels and lamps, and the oil to the nourish the fire,

15 Røgelsealteret med dets Bærestænger, Salveolien og Røgelsen. Forhænget til Boligens Indgang,

the altar of incense and its bars, and the oil of unction, and the incense of aromatics, the tent at the door of the tabernacle,

16 Brændofferalteret med Kobbergitteret, Bærestængerne og alt dets Tilbehør, Vandkummen med dens Fodstykke,

the altar of holocaust and its grate of brass, with the bars and vessels, the washtub and its base,

17 Forgaardens Omhæng, dens Piller og Fodstykker og Forhænget til Forgaardens Indgang,

the curtains of the atrium, with the columns and the bases, the hanging at the doors of the vestibule,

18 Boligens og Forgaardens Pæle med Reb,

the tent pegs of the tabernacle and the atrium, with their little cords,

19 Pragtklæderne til Tjenesten i Helligdommen, de hellige Klæder til Præsten Aron og hans Sønners Klæder til Brug ved Præstetjenesten.

the vestments, which are to be used in the ministry of the Sanctuary, the vestments of Aaron, the high priest, as well as those of his sons, in order to exercise the priesthood to me.”

20 Da forlod hele Israeliternes Menighed Moses.

And all the multitude of the sons of Israel, departing from the sight of Moses,

21 Og enhver, som i sit Hjerte følte sig drevet dertil, og hvis Aand tilskyndede ham, kom med HERRENS Offerydelse til Opførelsen af Aabenbaringsteltet og til alt Arbejdet derved og til de hellige Klæder.

offered the first-fruits to the Lord with a most ready and devout mind, to accomplish the work of the tabernacle of the testimony. Whatever was needed for worship and for the holy vestments,

22 De kom dermed, baade Mænd og Kvinder; enhver, som i sit Hjerte følte sig tilskyndet dertil, kom med Spænder, Ørenringe, Fingerringe og Halssmykker, alle Haande Guldsmykker. Og enhver, der vilde vie HERREN en Gave af Guld, kom dermed.

men along with women provided: arm bands and earrings, rings and bracelets. And every vessel of gold was separated, to be donated to the Lord.

23 Og enhver, i hvis Eje der fandtes violet og rødt Purpurgarn, karmoisinrødt Garn, Byssus, Gedehaar, rødfarvede Væderskind eller Tahasjskind, kom dermed.

If anyone had hyacinth, and purple, and twice-dyed scarlet, fine linen and the hair of goats, the skins of rams, dyed red, and violet skins,

24 Og enhver, der vilde give en Offerydelse af Sølv eller Kobber, kom med HERRENS Offerydelse. Og enhver, der ejede Akacietræ til alt Byggearbejdet, kom dermed.

metal of silver and brass, they offered it to the Lord, along with setim wood for various uses.

25 Og alle kunstforstandige Kvinder spandt med egne Hænder og kom med deres Spind, violet og rødt Purpur, Karmoisin og Byssus.

But the skillful women also gave whatever they had spun: hyacinth, purple, and vermillion, as well as fine linen,

26 Og alle Kvinder, som i Kraft af deres Kunstsnilde følte sig tilskyndede dertil i deres Hjerte, spandt Gedehaarene.

and the hair of goats, donating everything of their own accord.

27 Og Øversterne kom med Sjohamstenene og Ædelstenene til Indfatningen paa Efoden og Brystskjoldet

Yet truly, the leaders offered onyx stones and gems, for the ephod and the breastplate,

28 og de vellugtende Stoffer og Olien til Lysestagen og til Salveolien og Røgelsen.

and aromatics and oil, to maintain the lights, and to prepare ointment, and also to produce incense with a most sweet odor.

29 Enhver Mand og Kvinde af Israeliterne, som i sit Hjerte følte sig tilskyndet til at bringe, hvad der krævedes til Udførelsen af alt det Arbejde, HERREN gennem Moses havde paabudt, bragte det som en frivillig Gave til HERREN.

All the men and women offered donations with a devout mind, so that the works might be done which the Lord had ordered by the hand of Moses. All the sons of Israel dedicated voluntary offerings to the Lord.

30 Derpaa sagde Moses til Israeliterne: Se, HERREN har kaldet Bezal'el, en Søn af Hurs Søn Uri, af Judas Stamme

And Moses said to the sons of Israel: “Behold, the Lord has called by name Bezalel, the son of Uri, the son of Hur, from the tribe of Judah,

31 og fyldt ham med Guds Aand, med Kunstsnilde, Kløgt og Indsigt i alskens Arbejde

and he has filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, and understanding, and knowledge, and all teaching,

32 til at udtænke Kunstværker og til at arbejde i Guld, Sølv og Kobber

to design and to fashion, with gold and silver and brass,

33 og med Udskæring af Sten til Indfatning og med Træskærerarbejde, kort sagt til at udføre alskens Kunstarbejde.

and with engraving stones, and with the skill of a carpenter. Whatever can be skillfully invented,

34 Og tillige har han givet baade ham og Oholiab, Ahisamaks Søn, af Dans Stamme Gaver til at lære fra sig.

he has given to his heart. It is likewise with Oholiab, the son of Ahisamach from the tribe of Dan.

35 Han har fyldt dem med Kunstsnilde til at udføre alskens Udskæringsarbejde, Kunstvævning, broget Vævning af violet og rødt Purpurgarn, karmoisinrødt Garn og Byssus og almindelig Vævning, saa de kan udføre alt Slags Arbejde og udtænke Kunstværker.

He has taught both of them wisdom, in order to do the work of carpentry, tapestry, and embroidery, from hyacinth, and purple, and twice-dyed scarlet, and fine linen, and every textile, and to discover whatever may be new.”
