1 Saaledes skal du bære dig ad med dem, naar du helliger dem til at gøre Præstetjeneste for mig: Tag en ung Tyr, to lydefri Vædre,

“And this [is] the thing which you do to them, to hallow them, for being priests to Me: take one bullock, a son of the herd, and two rams, perfect ones,

2 usyrede Brød, usyrede Kager, rørte i Olie, og usyrede Fladbrød, smurte med Olie; af fint Hvedemel skal du bage dem.

and unleavened bread, and unleavened cakes anointed with oil; you make them of fine wheat flour,

3 Læg dem saa i een Kurv og bær dem frem i Kurven sammen med Tyren og de to Vædre.

and you have put them on one basket, and have brought them near in the basket, also the bullock and the two rams.

4 Lad derpaa Aron og hans Sønner træde hen til Aabenbaringsteltets Indgang og tvæt dem med Vand.

And you bring Aaron and his sons near to the opening of the Tent of Meeting, and have bathed them with water;

5 Tag saa Klæderne og ifør Aron Kjortelen, Efodkaaben, Efoden og Brystskjoldet og bind Efoden fast paa ham med Bæltet.

and you have taken the garments, and have clothed Aaron with the coat, and the upper robe of the ephod, and the ephod, and the breastplate, and have girded him with the girdle of the ephod,

6 Læg Hovedklædet om hans Hoved og fæst det hellige Diadem paa Hovedklædet.

and have set the turban on his head, and have put the holy crown on the turban,

7 Tag saa Salveolien og udgyd den paa hans Hoved og salv ham.

and have taken the anointing oil, and have poured [it] on his head, and have anointed him.

8 Lad dernæst hans Sønner træde frem og ifør dem Kjortler,

And you bring his sons near, and have clothed them [with] coats,

9 omgjord dem med Bælter og bind Huerne paa dem. Og Præsteværdigheden skal tilhøre dem med evig Ret. Saa skal du indsætte Aron og hans Sønner.

and have girded them [with] a girdle (Aaron and his sons), and have bound caps on them; and the priesthood has been theirs by a continuous statute, and you have consecrated the hand of Aaron, and the hand of his sons,

10 Før Tyren frem foran Aabenbaringsteltet, og Aron og hans Sønner skal lægge deres Hænder paa Tyrens Hoved.

and have brought the bullock near before the Tent of Meeting, and Aaron has laid—his sons also—their hands on the head of the bullock.

11 Slagt saa Tyren for HERRENS Aasyn ved Indgangen til Aabenbaringsteltet

And you have slaughtered the bullock before YHWH, at the opening of the Tent of Meeting,

12 og tag noget af Tyrens Blod og stryg det paa Alterets Horn med din Finger og udgyd Resten af Blodet ved Alterets Fod.

and have taken of the blood of the bullock, and have put [it] on the horns of the altar with your finger, and you pour out all the blood at the foundation of the altar;

13 Tag saa alt Fedtet paa Indvoldene, Leverlappen og begge Nyrerne med Fedtet paa dem og bring det som Røgoffer paa Alteret;

and you have taken all the fat which is covering the innards, and the redundance on the liver, and the two kidneys, and the fat which [is] on them, and have made incense on the altar;

14 men Tyrens Kød, dens Hud og dens Skarn skal du brænde uden for Lejren. Det er et Syndoffer.

and the flesh of the bullock, and his skin, and his dung, you burn with fire at the outside of the camp; it [is] a sin-offering.

15 Derpaa skal du tage den ene Væder, og Aron og hans Sønner skal lægge deres Hænder paa dens Hoved.

And you take the first ram, and Aaron and his sons have laid their hands on the head of the ram,

16 Slagt saa Væderen, tag dens Blod og spræng det rundt om paa Alteret.

and you have slaughtered the ram, and have taken its blood, and have sprinkled [it] around the altar,

17 Skær saa Væderen i Stykker, tvæt dens Indvolde og Skinneben, læg dem paa Stykkerne og Hovedet

and you cut the ram into its pieces, and have washed its innards, and its legs, and have put [them] on its pieces, and on its head;

18 og bring saa hele Væderen som Røgoffer paa Alteret. Det er et Brændoffer for HERREN; en liflig Duft, et Ildoffer for HERREN er det.

and you have made incense with the whole ram on the altar. It [is] a burnt-offering to YHWH, a refreshing fragrance; it [is] a fire-offering to YHWH.

19 Derpaa skal du tage den anden Væder, og Aron og hans Sønner skal lægge deres Hænder paa dens Hoved.

And you have taken the second ram, and Aaron has laid—his sons also—their hands on the head of the ram,

20 Slagt saa Væderen, tag noget af dens Blod og stryg det paa Arons og hans Sønners højre Øreflip og paa deres højre Tommelfinger og højre Tommeltaa og spræng Resten af Blodet rundt om paa Alteret.

and you have slaughtered the ram, and have taken of its blood, and have put [it] on the tip of the right ear of Aaron, and on the tip of the right ear of his sons, and on the thumb of their right hand, and on the great toe of their right foot, and have sprinkled the blood around the altar;

21 Tag saa noget af Blodet paa Alteret og af Salveolien og stænk det paa Aron og hans Klæder, ligeledes paa hans Sønner og deres Klæder, saa bliver han hellig, han selv og hans Klæder og ligeledes hans Sønner og deres klæder.

and you have taken of the blood which [is] on the altar, and of the anointing oil, and have sprinkled [it] on Aaron, and on his garments, and on his sons, and on the garments of his sons with him, and he has been hallowed, he and his garments, and his sons, and the garments of his sons with him.

22 Derpaa skal du tage Fedtet af Væderen, Fedthalen, Fedtet paa Indvoldene, Leverlappen, begge Nyrerne med Fedtet paa dem, dertil den højre Kølle, thi det er en Indsættelsesvæder,

And you have taken from the ram the fat, and the fat tail, and the fat which is covering the innards, and the redundance on the liver, and the two kidneys, and the fat which [is] on them, and the right leg, for it [is] a ram of consecration,

23 og en Skive Brød, en Oliebrødkage og et Fladbrød af Kurven med de usyrede Brød, som staar for HERRENS Aasyn,

and one round cake of bread, and one cake of oiled bread, and one thin cake out of the basket of the unleavened things which [is] before YHWH;

24 og lægge det alt sammen paa Arons og hans Sønners Hænder og lade dem udføre Svingningen dermed for HERRENS Aasyn.

and you have set the whole on the hands of Aaron, and on the hands of his sons, and have waved them [for] a wave-offering before YHWH;

25 Tag det saa igen fra dem og bring det som Røgoffer paa Alteret oven paa Brændofferet til en liflig Duft for HERRENS Aasyn, et Ildoffer er det for HERREN.

and you have taken them out of their hand, and have made incense on the altar beside the burnt-offering, for refreshing fragrance before YHWH; it [is] a fire-offering to YHWH.

26 Tag derpaa Brystet af Arons Indsættelsesvæder og udfør Svingningen dermed for HERRENS Aasyn: det skal være din Del.

And you have taken the breast from the ram of the consecration which [is] for Aaron, and have waved it [for] a wave-offering before YHWH, and it has become your portion;

27 Saaledes skal du hellige Svingningsbrystet og Offerydelseskøllen, det, hvormed Svingningen udføres, og det, som ydes af Arons og hans Sønners Indsættelsesvæder.

and you have sanctified the breast of the wave-offering, and the leg of the raised-offering, which has been waved, and which has been lifted up from the ram of the consecration, of that which [is] for Aaron, and of that which [is] for his sons;

28 Og det skal tilfalde Aron og hans Sønner som en Rettighed, de har Krav paa fra Israeliternes Side til evig Tid; thi det er en Offerydelse, og som Offerydelse skal Israeliterne give det af deres Takofre, som deres Offerydelse til HERREN.

and it has been for Aaron and for his sons, by a continuous statute from the sons of Israel, for it [is] a raised-offering; and it is a raised-offering from the sons of Israel, from the sacrifices of their peace-offerings—their raised-offering to YHWH.

29 Arons hellige Klæder skal tilfalde hans Sønner efter ham, for at de kan salves og indsættes i dem.

And the holy garments which are Aaron’s are for his sons after him, to be anointed in them and to consecrate their hand in them;

30 I syv Dage skal de bæres af den af hans Sønner, som bliver Præst i hans Sted, den, som skal gaa ind i Aabenbaringsteltet for at gøre Tjeneste i Helligdommen.

[for] seven days the priest in his stead (of his sons) puts them on when he goes into the Tent of Meeting to minister in the holy place.

31 Saa skal du tage Indsættelsesvæderen og koge dens Kød paa et helligt Sted;

And you take the ram of the consecration and have boiled its flesh in the holy place;

32 og Aron og hans Sønner skal spise Væderens Kød og Brødet i Kurven ved Indgangen til Aabenbaringsteltet;

and Aaron has eaten—his sons also—the flesh of the ram, and the bread which [is] in the basket, at the opening of the Tent of Meeting;

33 de skal spise de Stykker, hvorved der skaffes Soning ved deres Indsættelse og Indvielse, og ingen Lægmand maa spise deraf, thi det er helligt.

and they have eaten those things by which there is atonement to consecrate their hand, to sanctify them; and a stranger does not eat [them], for they [are] holy;

34 Og dersom der bliver noget af Indsættelseskødet eller Brødet tilovers til næste Morgen, da skal du opbrænde det tiloversblevne; spises maa det ikke, thi det er helligt.

and if there is left of the flesh of the consecration or of the bread until the morning, then you have burned that which is left with fire; it is not eaten, for it [is] holy.

35 Saaledes skal du forholde dig over for Aron og hans Sønner, ganske som jeg har paalagt dig. Syv Dage skal du foretage Indsættelsen;

And you have done thus to Aaron and to his sons, according to all that I have commanded you; [for] seven days you consecrate their hand;

36 daglig skal du ofre en Syndoffertyr til Soning og rense Alteret for Synd ved at fuldbyrde Soningen paa det, og du skal salve det for at hellige det.

and a bullock, a sin-offering, you prepare daily for the atonements, and you have atoned for the altar in your making atonement on it, and have anointed it to sanctify it;

37 Syv Dage skal du fuldbyrde Soningen paa Alteret og hellige det; saaledes bliver Alteret højhelligt; enhver, der kommer i Berøring med Alteret, bliver hellig.

[for] seven days you make atonement for the altar, and have sanctified it, and the altar has been most holy; all that is coming against the altar is holy.

38 Hvad du skal ofre paa Alteret, er følgende: Hver Dag to aargamle Lam som stadigt Offer.

And this [is] that which you prepare on the altar: two lambs, sons of a year, daily continually;

39 Det ene Lam skal du ofre om Morgenen og det andet ved Aftenstid.

you prepare the first lamb in the morning, and you prepare the second lamb between the evenings;

40 Sammen med det første Lam skal du bringe en Tiendedel Efa fint Hvedemel, rørt i en Fjerdedel Hin Olie af knuste Oliven, og et Drikoffer af en Fjerdedel Hin Vin.

and a tenth part of fine flour mixed with a fourth part of a hin of beaten oil, and a fourth part of a hin of wine [for] a drink-offering, [is] for the first lamb.

41 Og det andet Lam skal du ofre ved Aftenstid; sammen med det skal du ofre et Afgrødeoffer og et Drikoffer som om Morgenen til en liflig Duft, et Ildoffer for HERREN.

And you prepare the second lamb between the evenings; according to the present of the morning, and according to its drink-offering, you prepare for it, for refreshing fragrance, a fire-offering to YHWH—

42 Det skal være et stadigt Brændoffer, som I skal bringe, Slægt efter Slægt, ved Indgangen til Aabenbaringsteltet for HERRENS Aasyn, hvor jeg vil aabenbare mig for dig for at tale til dig,

a continual burnt-offering for your generations [at] the opening of the Tent of Meeting before YHWH, to where I meet with you to speak to you there,

43 og hvor jeg vil aabenbare mig for Israels Børn, og det skal helliges ved min Herlighed.

and I have met with the sons of Israel there, and it has been sanctified by My glory.

44 Jeg vil hellige Aabenbaringsteltet og Alteret, og Aron og hans Sønner vil jeg hellige til at gøre Præstetjeneste for mig.

And I have sanctified the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and I sanctify Aaron and his sons for being priests to Me,

45 Og jeg vil bo midt iblandt Israels Børn og være deres Gud;

and I have dwelt in the midst of the sons of Israel, and have become their God,

46 og de skal kende, at jeg HERREN er deres Gud, som førte dem ud af Ægypten for at bo midt iblandt dem, jeg HERREN deres Gud!

and they have known that I [am] their God YHWH, who has brought them out of the land of Egypt, that I may dwell in their midst; I [am] their God YHWH.”
