Første Krønikebog 26
1 Dørvogternes Skifter var følgende: af Koraiterne Mesjelemja, en Søn af Kore af Abi'asafs Sønner.
Concerning the divisions of the gatekeepers [who were] of the Korchites: Meshelemyahu the son of Kore, of the sons of Assaph.
2 Mesjelemja havde Sønner: Zekarja den førstefødte, Jediael den anden, Zebadja den tredje, Jatniel den fjerde,
And Meshelemyahu had sons: Zecharyahu the first-born, Jedi'ael the second, Zebaiyahu the third, Jathniel the fourth,
3 Elam den femte, Johanan den sjette og Eljoenaj den syvende.
Elam the fifth, Jehochanan the sixth, Elyeho'enal the seventh,
4 Obed-Edom havde Sønner: Sjemaja den førstefødte, Jozabad den anden, Joa den tredje, Sakar den fjerde, Netan'el den femte,
And 'Obed-edom had sons: Shema'yah the first-born, Jehosabad the second, Joach the third, and Sachar the fourth, and Nethanel the fifth,
5 Ammiel den sjette, Issakar den syvende og Pe'ulletaj den ottende; thi Gud havde velsignet ham.
'Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, Pe'ulthai the eighth; for God had blessed him.
6 Hans Søn Sjemaja fødtes Sønner, som var Herskere i deres Fædrenehus, da de var dygtige Folk.
Also unto Shema'yah his son there were born sons, that were rulers for the house of their father; for they were mighty men of valor.
7 Sjemajas Sønner var: Otni, Refael, Obed, Elzabad og hans Brødre, dygtige Folk, Elihu og Semakja;
The sons of Shema'yah were 'Othni, and Rephael, and 'Obed, [and] Elsahad, his brothers [were] valiant men, Elihu, and Semachyahu.
8 alle disse hørte tillige med deres Sønner og Brødre til Obed-Edoms Sønner, dygtige Folk med Evner til Tjenesten, i alt to og tresindstyve Efterkommere af Obed-Edom.
All these were of the sons of 'Obed-edom: they and their sons and their brethren were valiant men in strength for the service, being sixty and two [descendants] of 'Obed-edom.
9 Mesjelemja havde Sønner og Brødre, dygtige Folk, atten.
And Meshelemyahu had sons and brethren, valiant men, eighteen.
10 Hosa at Meraris Sønner havde Sønner: Sjimri, som var Overhoved — thi skønt han ikke var den førstefødte, gjorde hans Fader ham til Overhoved —
Also Chossah, of the children of Merari, had sons: Shimri the chief, for [though] he was not the first-born, yet his father made him the chief;
11 Hilkija den anden, Tebalja den tredje og Zekarja den fjerde. Hosas Sønner og Brødre var i alt tretten.
Chilkiyahu the second, Tehalyahu the third, Zecharyahu the fourth; all the sons and brethren of Chossah were thirteen.
12 Disse Dørvogternes Skifter, deres Overhoveder sammen med deres Brødre, blev Vagttjenesten overdraget, og saaledes gjorde de Tjeneste i HERRENS Hus;
These divisions of the gatekeepers, after the chief men, had the watch along with their brethren, to minister in the house of the Lord.
13 og om hver enkelt Port kastede de Lod mellem smaa som store, efter deres Fædrenehuse.
And they cast lots, the small as well as the great, according to their family divisions, for each and every gate.
14 Loddet for Østporten ramte Sjelemja. Ogsaa for hans Søn Zekarja, en klog Raadgiver, kastede man Lod, og Loddet traf Nordporten.
And the lot at the east fell for Shelemyahu. And for Zecharyahu his son, an intelligent counsellor, they cast lots, and his lot came out at the north.
15 For Obed-Edom traf det Sydporten og for hans Sønner Forraadskamrene.
For 'Obed-edom at the south; and to his sons [was assigned] the house of Assuppim.
16 Og for Hosa traf Loddet Vestporten tillige med Sjalleketporten ved Vejen, der fører opad, den ene Vagtpost ved den anden.
For Shuppim and for Chossah at the west, by the gate Shallecheth, on the ascending causeway, watch alongside of watch.
17 Mod Øst var der seks Leviter, mod Nord daglig fire, mod Syd daglig tre, ved hvert af Forraadskamrene to,
At the east were six Levites, at the north four for every day, at the south four for every day, and for [the house of] Assuppim always two.
18 ved Parbar mod Vest var der fire ved Vejen, to ved Parbar.
At the Parbar on the west, four at the causeway, and two at the Parbar.
19 Det var Dørvogternes Skifter af Koraiternes og Meraris Efterkommere.
These are the divisions of the gatekeepers of the sons of the Korchites, and of the sons of Merari.
20 Deres Brødre Leviterne, som havde Tilsyn med Guds Hus's Skatkamre og Skatkamrene til Helliggaverne:
And of the Levites, Achiyah was over the treasuries of the house of God, and over the treasuries of the holy things.
21 Ladans Sønner, Gersoniternes Efterkommere gennem Ladan, Overhovederne for Gersoniten Ladans Fædrenehuse: Jehieliterne.
[As concerning] the sons of La'dan, the sons of the Gershunites of La'dan, the chiefs of the families of La'dan the Gershunite, were the Jechielites.
22 Jehieliternes Sønner Zetam og hans Broder Joel havde Tilsynet med HERRENS Hus's Skatte.
The sons of Jechieli, Zetham, and Joel his brother, were over the treasuries of the house of the Lord.
23 Af Amramiterne, Jizhariterne, Hebroniterne og Uzzieliterne
Of the 'Amramites, of the Yizharites, of the Hebronites, and of the 'Uzzielites,
24 var Sjubael, en Søn af Moses's Søn Gersom, Overopsynsmand over Skattene.
[Was] even Shebuel the son of Gershom, the son of Moses, superintendent of the treasuries.
25 Hans fra Eliezer nedstammende Brødre: Hans Søn Rehabja, hans Søn Jesja'ja, hans Søn Joram, hans Søn Zikri, hans Søn Sjelomit.
And his brethren by Eli'ezer: Rechabyahu his son, and Jesha'yahu his son, and Joram his son, and Zichri his son, and Shelomoth his son.
26 Denne Sjelomit og hans Brødre havde Tilsynet med de Skatte af Helliggaver, som Kong David, Fædrenehusenes Overhoveder, Tusind- og Hundredførerne og Hærførerne havde helliget —
This Shelomoth and his brethren were over all the treasuries of the holy things, which king David had sanctified, together with the chiefs of the family divisions, the captains over the thousands and the hundreds, and the captains of the army.
27 de havde helliget dem af Krigsbyttet til Hjælp ved Bygningen at HERRENS Hus —
Out of the wars, and out of the booty did they sanctify to maintain the house of the Lord.
28 og med alt, hvad Seeren Samuel, Saul, Kisj's Søn, Abner, Ners Søn, og Joab, Zerujas Søn, havde helliget; alt, hvad der var helliget, var betroet Sjelomit og hans Brødre.
And all that Samuel the seer, and Saul the son of Kish, and Abner the son of Ner, and Joab the son of Zeruyah, had sanctified, whatsoever [any one] had sanctified, was under the supervision of Shelomoth and of his brethren.
29 Af Jizhariterne udtoges Konanja og hans Sønner til Arbejdet ude i Israel som Fogeder og Dommere.
Of the Yizharites were Kenanyahu and his sons for the outward business over Israel, for officers and judges.
30 Af Hebroniterne var Hasjabja og hans Brødre, 1700 dygtige Folk, sat til at varetage alt, hvad der vedrørte HERRENS Tjeneste og Kongens Tjeneste i Israel vesten for Jordan.
Of the Hebronites were Chashabyahu and his brethren, valiant men, a thousand and seven hundred [in number], appointed over the affairs of Israel on this side of the Jordan to the west, for all the business of the Lord, and for the service of the king.
31 Til Hebroniterne hørte Jerija, Overhovedet for Hebroniterne, efter deres Nedstamning, efter Fædrenehusene — i Davids fyrretyvende Regeringsaar blev der iværksat en Undersøgelse angaaende dem, og der fandtes dygtige Folk iblandt dem i Ja'zer i Gilead —
Of the Hebronites was Jeriyah the chief, for the Hebronites, according to their generations by families. In the fortieth year of the reign of David were they inquired into, and there were found among them mighty men of valor at Ja'zer of Gil'ad.
32 og hans Brødre, 2700 dygtige Folk, Overhoveder for Fædrenehusene; dem satte Kong David over Rubeniterne, Gaditerne og Manasses halve Stamme til at varetage alle Sager, som vedrørte Gud og Kongen.
And his brethren, valiant men, were two thousand and seven hundred chiefs of families: and king David appointed them over the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half tribe of Menasseh, for every matter pertaining to God, and the affairs of the king.
