Salme 97
1 Herren regerer! Jorden fryde sig, mange Øer glæde sig!
Yahweh he reigns let it be glad the earth let them rejoice islands many.
2 Sky og Mørke ere trindt omkring ham, Retfærdighed og Dom ere hans Trones Befæstning.
Cloud and thick darkness [are] around him [is] righteousness and justice [the] foundation of throne his.
3 Ild gaar foran hans Ansigt og fortærer hans Fjender trindt omkring.
Fire before him it goes and it may burn up all around opponents his.
4 Hans Lyn oplyste Jorderige; Jorden saa det og bævede.
They light up lightning flashes his [the] world it sees and it trembled the earth.
5 Bjergene smeltede som Voks for Herrens Ansigt, for hele Jordens Herres Ansigt.
Mountains like wax they melt from to before Yahweh from to before [the] lord of all the earth.
6 Himlene kundgjorde hans Retfærdighed, og alle Folk saa hans Ære.
They declare the heavens righteousness his and they see all the peoples glory his.
7 Beskæmmede skulle alle de vorde, som tjene et udskaaret Billede, de, som rose sig af Afguderne; tilbeder ham, alle Guder!
Let them be ashamed - all [those who] serve an image those [who] boast in worthless idols bow down to him O all gods.
8 Zion hørte det og blev glad, og Judas Døtre frydede sig over dine Domme, Herre!
It hears and it rejoiced - Zion and they were glad [the] daughters of Judah on account of judgments your O Yahweh.
9 Thi du, Herre! er den Højeste over al Jorden, du er saare ophøjet over alle Guder.
For you O Yahweh [are] most high over all the earth exceedingly you are exalted above all gods.
10 I, som elske Herren! hader det onde; han bevarer sine helliges Sjæle, han frier dem af de ugudeliges Haand.
O [you who] love Yahweh hate evil [he is] protecting [the] lives of faithful [people] his from [the] hand of wicked [people] he delivers them.
11 Lys er saaet for den retfærdige og Glæde for de oprigtige i Hjertet.
Light [is] sown for the righteous and for [people] upright of heart joy.
12 Glæder eder, I retfærdige i Herren, og priser hans hellige Ihukommelse!
Rejoice O righteous [people] in Yahweh and give thanks to [the] remembrance of holiness his.
