1 Lover Gud i hans Helligdom, lover ham i hans Vældes udstrakte Befæstning!

Alleluia. Praise the Lord in his holy places. Praise him in the firmament of his power.

2 Lover ham for hans vældige Gerninger, lover ham efter hans store Magt!

Praise him for his virtues. Praise him according to the multitude of his greatness.

3 Lover ham med Basuns Klang, lover ham med Psalter og Harpe!

Praise him with the sound of the trumpet. Praise him with psaltery and stringed instrument.

4 Lover ham med Tromme og Dans, lover ham med Strenge og Fløjte!

Praise him with timbrel and choir. Praise him with strings and organ.

5 Lover ham med lydende Cymbler, lover ham med klingende Cymbler!

Praise him with sweet-sounding cymbals. Praise him with cymbals of jubilation.

6 Alt det, som har Aande, love Herren! Halleluja!

Let every spirit praise the Lord. Alleluia.
