1 Priser Herren; thi han er god, thi hans Miskundhed varer evindelig.
Give ye thanks unto Jehovah, for he is good; for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever:
2 Priser Gudernes Gud; thi hans Miskundhed varer evindelig.
Give thanks unto the God of gods, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever;
3 Priser Herrernes Herre; thi hans Miskundhed varer evindelig;
Give thanks unto the Lord of lords, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever.
4 ham, som ene gør store, underfulde Ting; thi hans Miskundhed varer evindelig;
To him who alone doeth great wonders, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever:
5 ham, som gjorde Himlene med Forstand; thi hans Miskundhed varer evindelig;
To him that by understanding made the heavens, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever;
6 ham, som udbredte Jorden paa Vandene; thi hans Miskundhed varer evindelig;
To him that stretched out the earth above the waters, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever;
7 ham, som gjorde de store Lys; thi hans Miskundhed varer evindelig;
To him that made great lights, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever;
8 Solen til at regere om Dagen; thi hans Miskundhed varer evindelig;
The sun for rule over the day, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever,
9 Maanen og Stjernerne til at regere om Natten; thi hans Miskundhed varer evindelig;
The moon and stars for rule over the night, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever:
10 ham, som slog Ægypterne i deres førstefødte; thi hans Miskundhed varer evindelig;
To him that smote Egypt in their firstborn, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever,
11 og førte Israel ud af deres Midte; thi hans Miskundhed varer evindelig;
And brought out Israel from among them, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever,
12 med en stærk Haand og en udrakt Arm; thi hans Miskundhed varer evindelig;
With a powerful hand and with a stretched-out arm, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever;
13 ham, som kløvede det røde Hav igennem; thi hans Miskundhed varer evindelig;
To him that divided the Red sea into parts, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever,
14 og lod Israel gaa midt igennem det; thi hans Miskundhed varer evindelig;
And made Israel to pass through the midst of it, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever,
15 og udstødte Farao og hans Hær i det røde, Hav; thi hans Miskundhed varer evindelig;
And overturned Pharaoh and his host in the Red sea, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever;
16 ham, som førte sit Folk igennem Ørken; thi hans Miskundhed varer evindelig;
To him that led his people through the wilderness, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever;
17 ham, som slog store Konger; thi hans Miskundhed varer evindelig;
To him that smote great kings, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever,
18 og fældede mægtige Konger; thi hans Miskundhed varer evindelig;
And slew famous kings, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever;
19 Amoriternes Konge Sihon; thi hans Miskundhed varer evindelig;
Sihon king of the Amorites, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever,
20 og Basans Konge Og; thi hans Miskundhed varer evindelig;
And Og king of Bashan, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever;
21 og gav deres Land til Arv; thi hans Miskundhed varer evindelig;
And gave their land for an inheritance, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever,
22 til Arv for sin Tjener Israel, thi hans Miskundhed varer evindelig;
An inheritance unto Israel his servant, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever:
23 ham, som kom os i Hu i vor Fornedrelse; thi hans Miskundhed varer evindelig;
Who hath remembered us in our low estate, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever;
24 og udrev os fra vore Fjender; thi hans Miskundhed varer evindelig;
And hath delivered us from our oppressors, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever:
25 ham, som giver alt Kød Føde; thi hans Miskundhed varer evindelig!
Who giveth food to all flesh, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever.
26 Priser Himlenes Gud; thi hans Miskundhed varer evindelig!
Give ye thanks unto the God of the heavens; for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever.
