1 Og det skete efter Plagen, at Herren talede til Mose og til Eleasar, Præsten Arons Søn, og sagde:
And so after the plague, the Lord spake vnto Moses, and to Eleazar the sonne of Aaron the Priest, saying,
2 Tager Hovedsum paa hele Israels Børns Menighed, fra tyve Aar gamle og derover, efter deres Fædrenehus, paa alle dem i Israel, som kunne uddrage i Strid.
Take the nomber of all the Congregation of the children of Israel from twentie yeere olde and aboue throughout their fathers houses, all that go forth to warre in Israel.
3 Og Mose og Eleasar, Præsten, talede med dem paa Moabiternes slette Marker, ved Jordanen over for Jeriko, og sagde:
So Moses and Eleazar the Priest spake vnto them in the plaine of Moab, by Iorden towarde Iericho, saying,
4 Tæller dem fra tyve Aar gamle og derover, ligesom Herren havde befalet Mose og Israels Børn, dem, som vare uddragne af Ægyptens Land.
From twentie yeere olde and aboue ye shall nomber the people, as the Lord had commanded Moses, and the childre of Israel, when they came out of the land of Egypt.
5 Ruben var Israels førstefødte; Rubens Børn vare: Af Hanok Hanokiternes Slægt; af Pallu, Palluiternes Slægt;
Reuben the first borne of Israel: the children of Reube were: Hanoch, of whom came the familie of the Hanochites, and of Pallu the familie of the Palluites:
6 af Hezron Hezroniternes Slægt; af Karmi Karmitternes Slægt.
Of Hesron, the familie of the Hesronites: of Carmi, the familie of the Carmites.
7 Disse ere Rubeniternes Slægter; og de talte af dem vare tre og fyrretyve Tusinde og syv Hundrede og tredive.
These are the families of the Reubenites: and they were in nomber three and fourtie thousand, seuen hundreth and thirtie.
8 Men blandt Pallu Børn var Eliab.
And the sonnes of Pallu, Eliab:
9 Og Eliabs Børn vare Nemuel og Dathan og Abiram; det var den Dathan og Abiram, de udnævnte af Menigheden, de, som trættede mod Mose og mod Aron i Koras Selskab, der de trættede mod Herren.
And the sonnes of Eliab, Nemuel, and Dathan, and Abiram: this Dathan and Abiram were famous in the Congregation, and stroue against Moses and against Aaron in the assemblie of Korah, when they stroue against the Lord.

And the earth opened her mouth, and swalowed them vp with Korah, when the Congregation died, what time the fire consumed, two hundreth and fiftie men, who were for a signe.

Notwithstanding, all the sonnes of Korah dyed not.

Of Zerah, the familie of the Zarhites: of Shaul, the familie of the Shaulites.
14 Disse ere Simeoniternes Slægter, to og tyve Tusinde og to Hundrede.
These are the families of the Simeonites: two and twentie thousand and two hundreth.
15 Gads Børn efter deres Slægter vare: Af Zifon Zifoniternes Slægt; af Haggi Haggiternes Slægt; af Suni Suniternes Slægt;
The sonnes of Gad after their families were: Zephon, of whome came ye familie of the Zephonites: of Haggi, the familie of the Haggites: of Shuni, the familie of the Shunites:

Of Ozni, the familie of the Oznites: of Eri, the familie of the Erites:
17 af Arod Aroditernes Slægt; af Areli Areliternes Slægt.

19 Judas Børn vare Er og Onan, og Er og Onan døde i Kanaans Land.
The sonnes of Iudah, Er and Onan: but Er and Onan died in the land of Canaan.
20 Og Judas øvrige Børn efter deres Slægter vare: Af Sela Selaniternes Slægt; af Perez Pereziternes Slægt; af Sera Seraiternes Slægt.
So were the sonnes of Iudah after their families: of Shelah came the familie of ye Shelanites: of Pharez, the familie of the Pharzites, of Zerah, the familie of the Zarhites.
21 Men Perez' Børn vare: Af Hezron Hezroniternes Slægt; af Hamul Hamuliternes Slægt.
And the sonnes of Pharez were: of Hesron, the familie of the Hesronites: of Hamul, the familie of the Hamulites.
22 Disse ere Judas Slægter efter de talte af dem, seks og halvfjerdsindstyve Tusinde og fem Hundrede.
These are the families of Iudah, after their nombers, seuentie and sixe thousande and fiue hundreth.
23 Isaskars Børn efter deres Slægter vare: Af Thola Tholaiternes Slægt; af Fua Funiternes Slægt;
The sonnes of Issachar, after their families were: Tola, of whom came the familie of the Tolaites: of Pua, the familie of the Punites:
24 af Jasub Jasubiternes Slægt; af Simron, Simroniternes Slægt.
Of Iashub the familie of the Iashubites: of Shimron, the familie of the Shimronites.
25 Disse ere Isaskars Slægter efter de talte af dem, fire og tresindstyve Tusinde og tre Hundrede.
These are the families of Issachar, after their nombers, threescore and foure thousand and three hundreth.

The sonnes of Zebulun, after their families were: of Sered, the familie of the Sardites: of Elon, the familie of the Elonites: of Iahleel, the familie of the Iahleelites.

These are the families of the Zebulunites, after their nombers, three score thousande and fiue hundreth.
28 Josefs Børn efter deres Slægter vare Manasse og Efraim.
The sonnes of Ioseph, after their families were Manasseh and Ephraim.
29 Men Manasse Børn vare: Af Makir Makiriternes Slægt; og Makir avlede Gilead; af Gilead Gileaditernes Slægt.
The sonnes of Manasseh were: of Machir, the familie of the Machirites: and Machir begate Gilead: of Gilead came the familie of the Gileadites.
30 Disse ere Gileads Børn: Af Jeser Jeseriternes Slægt; af Helek Helekiternes Slægt;
These are the sonnes of Gilead: of Iezer, the familie of the Iezerites: of Helek, the familie of the Helekites.
31 og af Asriel Asrieliternes Slægt; og af Sekem Sekemiternes Slægt;
Of Asriel, the familie of the Asrielites: of Shechem, the familie of Shichmites.
32 og af Semida Semidaiternes Slægt; og af Hefer Heferiternes Slægt.
Of Shemida, the familie of the Shemidaites: of Hepher, the familie of the Hepherites.
33 Men Zelafehad, Hefers Søn, havde ingen Sønner, men Døtre, og Zelafehads Døtres Navne vare: Mahela og Noa, Hogla, Milka og Thirza.
And Zelophehad the sonne of Hepher had no sonnes, but daughters: and the names of the daughters of Zelophehad were Mahlah, and Noah, Hoglah, Milcah and Tirzah.
34 Disse ere Manasse Slægter; og de talte af dem vare to og halvtredsindstyve Tusinde og syv Hundrede.
These are the families of Manasseh, and the nomber of them, two and fiftie thousand and seuen hundreth.
35 Disse ere Efraims Børn efter deres Slægter: Af Suthela Suthelaiternes Slægt; af Beker Bekeriternes Slægt; af Tha ban Thabaniternes Slægt.
These are the sonnes of Ephraim after their families: of Shuthelah came the familie of the Shuthalhites: of Becher, the familie of the Bachrites: of Tahan, the familie of the Tahanites.
36 Disse ere Suthelas Børn: Af Eran Eraniternes Slægt.
And these are the sonnes of Shuthelah: of Eran the familie of the Eranites.

These are the families of the sonnes of Ephraim after their nombers, two and thirtie thousand and fiue hundreth. these are the sonnes of Ioseph after their families.

These are the sonnes of Beniamin after their families: of Bela came the familie of the Belaites: of Ashbel, the familie of the Ashbelites: of Ahiram, the familie of the Ahiramites:

These are the sonnes of Beniamin after their families, and their nombers, fiue and fourtie thousand and sixe hundreth.

These are the sonnes of Dan after their families: of Shuham came the familie of the Shuhamites: these are the families of Dan after their housholdes.
43 Alle Suhamiternes Slægter efter de talte af dem vare fire og tresindstyve Tusinde og fire Hundrede.
All the families of the Shuhamites were after their nombers, threescore and foure thousand, and foure hundreth.
44 Asers Børn efter deres Slægter vare: Af Jimna Jimnaiternes Slægt; af Jisui Jisuiternes Slægt; af Beria Beriaiternes Slægt;
The sonnes of Asher after their families were: of Iimnah, the familie of the Iimnites: of Isui, the familie of the Isuites: of Beriah, the familie of the Berijtes.
45 af Berias Børn: Af Heber Hebriternes Slægt; af Malkiel Malkieliternes Slægt.
The sonnes of Beriah were, of Heber the familie of the Heberites: of Malchiel, the familie of the Malchielites.
46 Og Asers Datters Navn var Serak.
And the name of the daughter of Asher was Sarah.

These are the nombers of the children of Israel: sixe hundreth and one thousand, seuen hundreth and thirtie.
52 Og Herren talede til Mose og sagde:
And the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,
53 Iblandt disse skal Landet deles til Arv efter Navnenes Tal.
Vnto these the land shalbe deuided for an inheritance, according to the nomber of names.
54 Den, som har mange, hans Arv skal du gøre stor, og den, som har faa, hans Arv skal du gøre liden; hver skal gives hans Arv i Forhold til de talte af ham.
To many thou shalt giue the more inheritance, and to fewe thou shalt giue lesse inheritance: to euery one according to his nomber shalbe giuen his inheritance.
55 Dog skal Landet deles ved Lodkastning; de skulle arve efter deres Fædres Stammers Navn.
Notwithstanding, the land shalbe deuided by lot: according to the names of the tribes of their fathers they shall inherite:
56 Som Loddet falder, skal Arven tilfalde enhver, efter som han har mange eller faa.
According to the lot shall the possession thereof be deuided betweene many and fewe.
57 Og disse ere de talte af Leviterne efter deres Slægter: Af Gerson Gersoniternes Slægt; af Kahath Kahathiternes Slægt; af Merari Merariternes Slægt.
These also are the nobers of ye Leuites, after their families: of Gershon came ye familie of the Gershonites: of Kohath, ye familie of the Kohathites: of Merari, the familie of the Merarites.
58 Disse ere Leviternes Slægter: De Libniters Slægt, de Hebroniters Slægt, de Maheliters Slægt, de Musiters Slægt, de Koraiters Slægt; og Kahath avlede Amram.
These are the families of Leui, the familie of the Libnites: the familie of the Hebronites: the familie of the Mahlites: the familie of the Mushites: the familie of the Korhites: and Kohath begate Amram.
59 Og Amrams Hustrus Navn var Jokebed, Levi Datter, hvilken hendes Moder fødte Levi i Ægypten; og hun fødte Aron og Mose og Maria, deres Søster, for Amram.
And Amrams wife was called Iochebed the daughter of Leui, which was borne vnto Leui in Egypt: and she bare vnto Amram Aaron, and Moses, and Miriam their sister.
60 Men for Aron bleve fødte Nadab og Abihu, Eleasar og Ithaman
And vnto Aaron were borne Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
61 Og Nadab og Abihu døde, der de førte fremmed Ild ind for Herrens Ansigt.
And Nadab and Abihu dyed, because they offred strange fire before the Lord.
62 Og de talte af dem vare tre og tyve Tusinde, alt Mandkøn fra Maaned gammel og derover; thi de bleve ikke talte iblandt Israels Børn, thi dem var ikke given Arv iblandt Israels Børn.
And their nombers were three and twentie thousand, all males from a moneth old and aboue: for they were not nombred among the children of Israel, because there was none inheritance giuen them among the children of Israel.
63 Disse ere de, som bleve talte af Mose og Eleasar, Præsten, hvilken talte Israels Børn paa Moabiternes slette Marker, ved Jordanen, over for Jeriko.
These are the nombers of Moses and Eleazar the Priest which nombred the children of Israel in the plaine of Moab, neere Iorden, towarde Iericho.
64 Og iblandt dem var ikke en Mand af dem, som vare talte af Mose og Aron, Præsten, der talte Israels Børn i Sinai Ørk.
And among these there was not a man of them, whome Moses and Aaron the Priest nobred, when they tolde the children of Israel in the wildernes of Sinai.
65 Thi Herren havde sagt til dem: De skulle visseligen dø i Ørken; og der blev ingen tilovers af dem uden Kaleb, Jefunne Søn, og Josva, Nuns Søn.
For the Lord said of them, They shall die in the wildernes: so there was not left a man of them, saue Caleb the sonne of Iephunneh, and Ioshua the sonne of Nun.
