1 Og Herren talede til Mose og Aron og sagde:
Adonai spoke to Moses [Drawn out] and to Aaron [Light-bringer], saying,
2 Israels Børn skulle lejre sig hver hos sit Banner, ved deres Fædrenehuses Tegn; lige overfor, trindt omkring Forsamlingens Paulun skulle de lejre sig.
“The children of Israel [God prevails] shall encamp every man by his own standard, with the banners of their fathers’ houses: at a distance from the Tent of Meeting shall they encamp around it.”

Those who encamp on the east side toward the sunrise shall be of the standard of the camp of Judah [Praised], according to their divisions: and the prince of the children of Judah [Praised] shall be Nahshon the son of Amminadab.

His division, and those who were counted of them, were seventy-four thousand six hundred.
5 Og de, som skulle lejre sig hos ham, ere Isaskars Stamme og Isaskars Børns Fyrste, Nethaneel, Zuars Søn,
Those who encamp next to him shall be the tribe of Issachar [Hire, Reward]: and the prince of the children of Issachar [Hire, Reward] shall be Nethanel the son of Zuar.
6 og hans Hær og de talte af dem, fire og halvtredsindstyve Tusinde og fire Hundrede.
His division, and those who were counted of it, were fifty-four thousand four hundred.
7 Dernæst Sebulons Stamme og Sebulons Børns Fyrste, Eliab, Helons Søn,
The tribe of Zebulun [Living together]: and the prince of the children of Zebulun [Living together] shall be Eliab the son of Helon.
8 og hans Hær og de talte af dem, syv og halvtredsindstyve Tusinde og fire Hundrede.
His division, and those who were counted of it, were fifty-seven thousand four hundred.
9 Alle de talte til Judas Lejr ere hundrede Tusinde og seks og firsindstyve Tusinde og fire Hundrede efter deres Hære; de skulle rejse i den første Afdeling.
All who were counted of the camp of Judah [Praised] were one hundred eighty-six thousand four hundred, according to their divisions. They shall set out first.
10 Rubens Lejrs Banner skal være mod Sønden efter deres Hære, og Rubens Børns Fyrste, Elizur, Sedeurs Søn,
“On the south side shall be the standard of the camp of Reuben [See, a son!] according to their divisions. The prince of the children of Reuben [See, a son!] shall be Elizur the son of Shedeur.

His division, and those who were counted of it, were forty-six thousand five hundred.
12 Og de, som skulle lejre sig hos ham, ere Simeons Stamme og Simeons Børns Fyrste, Skelumiel, Zurisaddai Søn,
“Those who encamp next to him shall be the tribe of Simeon [Hearing]. The prince of the children of Simeon [Hearing] shall be Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai [My rock almighty].
13 og hans Hær og de talte af dem, ni og halvtredsindstyve Tusinde og tre Hundrede.
His division, and those who were counted of them, were fifty-nine thousand three hundred.
14 Og dernæst Gads Stamme og Gads Børns Fyrste, Eliasaf, Reuels Søn,
“The tribe of Gad [Good fortune]: and the prince of the children of Gad [Good fortune] shall be Eliasaph the son of Reuel.
15 og hans Hær og de talte af dem, fem og fyrretyve Tusinde og seks Hundrede og halvtredsindstyve.
His division, and those who were counted of them, were forty-five thousand six hundred fifty.
16 Alle de talte til Rubens Lejr ere hundrede Tusinde og eet og halvtredsindstyve Tusinde og fire Hundrede og halvtredsindstyve efter deres Hære; og de skulle rejse i den anden Afdeling.
“All who were counted of the camp of Reuben [See, a son!] were one hundred fifty-one thousand four hundred fifty, according to their armies. They shall set out second.
17 Og dernæst skal Forsamlingens Paulun rejse, Leviternes Lejr midt imellem Lejrene; eftersom de lejre sig, saa skulle de rejse, hver paa sit Sted, efter deres Bannere.
“Then the Tent of Meeting shall set out, with the camp of the Levites [Descendants of United with] in the middle of the camps. As they encamp, so shall they set out, every man in his place, by their standards.
18 Efraims Lejrs Banner efter deres Hære skal være mod Vesten og Efraims Børns Fyrste, Elisama, Ammihuds Søn,
“On the west side shall be the standard of the camp of Ephraim [Fruit] according to their divisions: and the prince of the children of Ephraim [Fruit] shall be Elishama the son of Ammihud.
19 og hans Hær og de talte af dem, fyrretyve Tusinde og fem Hundrede.
His division, and those who were counted of them, were forty thousand five hundred.
20 Og hos ham Manasse Stamme og Manasse Børns Fyrste, Gamliel, Pedazurs Søn,
“Next to him shall be the tribe of Manasseh [Causing to forget]: and the prince of the children of Manasseh [Causing to forget] shall be Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur.
21 og hans Hær og de talte af dem, to og tredive Tusinde og to Hundrede.
His division, and those who were counted of them, were thirty-two thousand two hundred.
22 Og dernæst Benjamins Stamme og Benjamins Børns Fyrste, Abidan, Gideoni Søn,
“The tribe of Benjamin [Son of right hand, Son of south]: and the prince of the children of Benjamin [Son of right hand, Son of south] shall be Abidan the son of Gideoni.
23 og hans Hær og de talte af dem, fem og tredive Tusinde og fire Hundrede.
His army, and those who were counted of them, were thirty-five thousand four hundred.
24 Alle de talte til Efraims Lejr ere hundrede Tusinde og otte Tusinde og Hundrede efter deres Hære; og de skulle rejse i den tredje Afdeling.
“All who were counted of the camp of Ephraim [Fruit] were one hundred eight thousand one hundred, according to their divisions. They shall set out third.
25 Dans Lejrs Banner skal være mod Norden, efter deres Hære og Dans Børns Fyrste, Ahieser, Ammisaddai Søn,
“On the north side shall be the standard of the camp of Dan [He judged] according to their divisions: and the prince of the children of Dan [He judged] shall be Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.
26 og hans Hær og de talte af dem, to og tresindstyve Tusinde og syv Hundrede.
His division, and those who were counted of them, were sixty-two thousand seven hundred.
27 Og de, som skulle lejre sig hos ham, ere Asers Stamme og Asers Børns Fyrste, Pagiel, Okrans Søn,
“Those who encamp next to him shall be the tribe of Asher [Happy]: and the prince of the children of Asher [Happy] shall be Pagiel the son of Ochran.
28 og hans Hær og de talte af dem, eet og fyrretyve Tusinde og fem Hundrede.
His division, and those who were counted of them, were forty-one thousand and five hundred.
29 Og Nafthali Stamme og Nafthali Børns Fyrste, Ahira, Enans Søn,
“The tribe of Naphtali [My wrestling]: and the prince of the children of Naphtali [My wrestling] shall be Ahira the son of Enan.
30 og hans Hær og de talte af dem, tre og halvtredsindstyve Tusinde og fire Hundrede.
His division, and those who were counted of them, were fifty-three thousand four hundred.
31 Alle de talte til Dans Lejr ere hundrede Tusinde og syv og halvtredsindstyve Tusinde og seks Hundrede; de skulle rejse i den sidste Afdeling efter deres Bannere.
“All who were counted of the camp of Dan [He judged] were one hundred fifty-seven thousand six hundred. They shall set out last by their standards.”
32 Disse ere de talte af Israels Børn efter deres Fædrenehus; alle de talte i Lejrene, efter deres Hære, vare seks Hundrede Tusinde og tre Tusinde og fem Hundrede og halvtredsindstyve.
These are those who were counted of the children of Israel [God prevails] by their fathers’ houses. All who were counted of the camps according to their armies were six hundred three thousand five hundred fifty.
33 Men Leviterne bleve ikke talte midt iblandt Israels Børn, som Herren havde befalet Mose.
But the Levites [Descendants of United with] were not counted among the children of Israel [God prevails]; as Adonai enjoined Moses [Drawn out].
34 Og Israels Børn gjorde det; ganske som Herren havde befalet Mose, saaledes lejrede de sig, efter deres Bannere, og saaledes rejste de, hver efter sine Slægter efter deres Fædrenehus.
Thus the children of Israel [God prevails] did. According to all that Adonai enjoined Moses [Drawn out], so they encamped by their standards, and so they set out, everyone by their families, according to their fathers’ houses.
