3 Mosebog 4

1 Og Herren talede til Mose og sagde:

And Yahweh spake, unto Moses, saying:

2 Tal til Israels Børn og sig: Naar nogen synder af Vanvare imod noget af Herrens Bud, hvad der ikke skulde ske, og handler imod eet af dem,

Speak thou unto the sons of Israel, saying—When any person, shall sin by mistake, departing from any of the commandments of Yahweh, as to things which should not be done, and shall do any one of them, —

3 dersom det er den salvede Præst, som synder til Skyld for Folket, da skal han fremføre for sin Synd, som han har syndet, en Tyrekalv, der er uden Lyde, for Herren som Syndoffer.

If, the anointed priest, shall sin, so as to bring guilt upon the people, then shall he bring near for his sin which he hath committed a choice young bullock without defect, unto Yahweh as a sin-bearer.

4 Og han skal føre Tyren til Forsamlingens Pauluns Dør for Herrens Ansigt og lægge sin Haand paa Tyrens Hoved og slagte Tyren for Herrens Ansigt.

And he shall bring in the bullock unto the entrance of the tent of meeting, before Yahweh, —and shall lean his hand upon the head of the bullock, and shall slay the bullock before Yahweh.

5 Og Præsten, som er salvet, skal tage af Tyrens Blod og bringe det ind i Forsamlingens Paulun.

And the anointed priest shall take of the blood of the bullock, —and bring it into the tent of meeting;

6 Og Præsten skal dyppe sin Finger i Blodet og stænke af Blodet syv Gange for Herrens Ansigt, lige for Helligdommens Forhæng.

and the priest shall dip his finger in the blood, —and sprinkle of the blood seven times, before Yahweh, in front of the veil of the sanctuary.

7 Og Præsten skal komme af Blodet paa Hornene af den vellugtende Røgelses Alter, for Herrens Ansigt, i Forsamlingens Paulun; og alt Tyrens øvrige Blod skal han udøse ved Brændofrets Alters Fod, foran Forsamlingens Pauluns Dør.

Then shall the priest put of the blood upon the horns of the altar of fragrant incense before Yahweh, which is in the tent of meeting, —and, all the [remainder of the] blood of the bullock, shall he pour out at the base of the altar of ascending-sacrifice, which is at the entrance of the tent of meeting,

8 Og alt Fedtet af Syndofrets Tyr skal han udtage deraf, nemlig Fedtet, som skjuler Indvoldene, og alt Fedtet, som er paa Indvoldene,

And all the fat of the sin-bearing bullock, shall he heave up therefrom, —the fat that covereth over the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards;

9 og de to Nyrer og Fedtet, som er paa dem, det som er oven for Lænderne; men han skal udtage Hinden over Leveren tillige med Nyrerne,

and the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them which is upon the loins, —and as for the caul upon the liver, upon the kidneys, shall he remove it:

10 ligesom det udtages af Takofrets Okse; og Præsten skal gøre et Røgoffer deraf paa Brændofrets Alter.

just as it is heaved up from the ox of the peace-offering, —and the priest shall make of them a perfume on the altar of ascending-sacrifice,

11 Men Huden af Tyren og alt dens Kød, med dens Hoved og med dens Skanker og dens Indvolde og dens Møg,

But, as for the skin of the bullock and all its flesh with its head and with its legs, —and its inwards, and its dung,

12 ja, den hele Tyr skal han bringe uden for Lejren, til et rent Sted, der hvor Asken udslaas, og han skal brænde den paa Veddet i Ilden; den skal opbrændes der, hvor Asken udslaas.

he shall take forth the entire bullock—unto the outside of the camp, unto a clean place unto the outpoured heap of fat-ashes, and shall burn it up on wood in the fire, —upon the outpoured heap of fat-ashes, shall it be burned up.

13 Og dersom al Israels Menighed forser sig, og Gerningen er skjult for Forsamlingens Øjne, at de have gjort noget imod eet af Herrens Bud, hvad der ikke skulde ske, og ere blevne skyldige,

And, if the whole assembly of Israel, shall make a mistake, and a matter be hidden from the eyes of the convocation, —and so they do something, whereby they depart from any of the commandments of Yahweh as to things which should not be done, and become guilty;

14 og Synden, hvormed de have forsyndet sig, siden bliver vitterlig: Da skal Forsamlingen ofre en ung Tyr til Syndoffer, og de skulle føre den frem for Forsamlingens Paulun.

and the sin shall become known, which they have committed therein, then shall the convocation bring near a choice young bullock as a sin-bearer, yea they shall bring it in. before the tent of meeting;

15 Og de ældste af Menigheden skulle lægge deres Hænder paa Tyrens Hoved for Herrens Ansigt, og man skal slagte Tyren for Herrens Ansigt.

and the elders of the assembly shall lean their hands upon the head of the bullock before Yahweh, —and shall slay the bullock, before Yahweh;

16 Og Præsten, som er salvet, skal bringe af Tyrens Blod ind i Forsamlingens Paulun.

and the anointed priest shall bring in of the blood of the bullock, —into the tent of meeting;

17 Og Præsten skal dyppe sin Finger i Blodet og stænke syv Gange for Herrens Ansigt, foran Forhænget.

and the priest shall dip his finger in the blood, —and shall sprinkle of the blood seven times before Yahweh, upon the face of the veil;

18 Og han skal komme af Blodet paa Hornene af Alteret, som staar for Herrens Ansigt, i Forsamlingens Paulun; og alt det øvrige Blod skal han udøse ved Foden af Brændofrets Alter, som staar foran Forsamlingens Pauluns Dør.

and, some of the blood, shall he put upon the horns of the altar which is before Yahweh, which is in the tent of meeting; and, all the [remainder of the] blood, shall he pour out at the base of the altar of ascending-sacrifice, which is at the entrance of the tent of meeting;

19 Og alt dens Fedt skal han udtage af den og gøre et Røgoffer deraf paa Alteret.

and, as for all the fat thereof, he shall heave up therefrom, —and make a perfume at the altar.

20 Og han skal gøre ved Tyren, ligesom han gjorde ved Syndofrets Tyr, saa skal han gøre ved den; og Præsten skal gøre Forligelse for dem, saa bliver det dem forladt.

And he shall do to the bullock, as he did to the [first] sin-bearing bullock, so shall he do with this, —and the priest shall put a propitiatory-covering over them, and it shall be forgiven them.

21 Og man skal føre Tyren uden for Lejren og opbrænde den, ligesom man opbrændte den første Tyr; det skal være Menighedens Syndoffer.

And he shall take forth the bullock unto the outside of the camp, and burn it up, just as he burned up the first bullock, —the sin-bearer of the convocation, it is.

22 Dersom en Fyrste synder, og gør noget imod eet af Herrens sin Guds Bud, hvad der ikke skulde ske, af Vanvare, og bliver skyldig:

When a prince, shall sin, —and shall do something, departing from any of the commandments of Yahweh his God as to things which should not be done, by mistake and shall become aware of his guilt;

23 Naar hans Synd, med hvilken han syndede, bliver ham tilkendegiven, da skal han fremføre sit Offer, en Gedebuk, en Han uden Lyde.

or his sin wherein he hath sinned be made known unto him, then shall he bring in. as his oblation a he-goat a male without defect;

24 Og han skal lægge sin Haand paa Bukkens Hoved og slagte den paa det Sted, hvor man plejer at slagte Brændoffer for Herrens Ansigt; det er et Syndoffer.

and shall lean his hand upon the head of the goat, and shall slay it in the place where they slay the ascending-sacrifice before Yahweh, —a sin-bearer, it is.

25 Saa skal Præsten tage af Syndofrets Blod paa sin Finger og komme det paa Hornene af Brændofrets Alter og udøse dets øvrige Blod ved Foden af Brændofrets Alter.

And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin-bearer with his finger, and put upon the horns of the altar of ascending-sacrifice; and, the [remainder of the] blood thereof, shall he pour out at the base of the altar of ascending-sacrifice;

26 Men af alt dets Fedt skal han gøre et Røgoffer paa Alteret, ligesom af Fedtet af Takofret; og saa skal Præsten gøre Forligelse for ham, for hans Synd, saa bliver den ham forladt.

and with all the fat thereof, shall he make a perfume at the altar, as with the fat of the peace-offering, —so shall the priest put a propitiatory-covering over him because of his sin, and it shall be forgiven him.

27 Men dersom nogen af Folket i Landet synder af Vanvare, saa at han gør noget mod eet af Herrens Bud, hvad der ikke skulde ske, og bliver skyldig:

And, if, any person, shall sin, by mistake from among the people of the land, —by his doing anything departing from any of the commandments of Yahweh, as to things which should not be done, and shall become aware of his guilt;

28 Naar hans Synd, hvormed han syndede, bliver ham tilkendegiven, da skal han fremføre sit Offer, en ung Ged, en Hun uden Lyde, for sin Synd, hvormed han syndede.

or his sin which he hath committed shall be made known unto, him, then shall he bring in, as his oblation, a kid of the goats a female, without defect, for his sin which he hath committed;

29 Og han skal lægge sin Haand paa Syndofrets Hoved og slagte Syndofret paa Brændofrets Sted.

and shall lean his hand upon the head of the sin-bearer, —and shall slay the sin-bearer in the place of the ascending-sacrifice.

30 Og Præsten skal tage af dets Blod paa sin Finger og komme det paa Hornene af Brændofrets Alter og udøse alt det øvrige Blod ved Alterets Fod.

Then shall the priest take of the blood thereof with his finger, and put upon the horns of the altar of ascending-sacrifice, —and all the [remaining] blood thereof, shall he pour out, at the base of the altar;

31 Men alt dets Fedt skal han aftage, ligesom Fedtet blev aftaget af Takofret, og Præsten skal gøre det til et Røgoffer paa Alteret, til en behagelig Lugt for Herren; og Præsten skal gøre Forligelse for ham, og det skal forlades ham.

and all the fat thereof, shall he remove as the fat from off the peace-offering was removed, and the priest shall make a perfume at the altar, for a satisfying odour unto Yahweh, —so shall the priest put a propitiatory-covering over him, and it shall be forgiven him.

32 Men dersom han fører et Lam frem til sit Offer, til Syndoffer, da skal han fremføre en Hun uden Lyde

And, if a lamb, he bring in. as his oblation for a sin-bearer, a female without defect, shall he bring in;

33 og lægge sin Haand paa Syndofrets Hoved og slagte det til Syndoffer paa det Sted, hvor man slagter Brændoffer.

and shall lean his hand upon the head of the sin-bearer, —and shall slay it as a sin-bearer, in the place where they slay the ascending-sacrifice.

34 Og Præsten skal tage af Syndofrets Blod paa sin Finger og komme paa Hornene af Brændofrets Alter, og han skal udøse alt dets Blod ved Alterets Fod.

Then shall the priest take of the blood of the sin-bearer with his finger, and put upon the horns of the altar of ascending-sacrifice, —and all the [remaining] blood thereof, shall he pour out, at the base of the altar;

35 Men alt dets Fedt skal han aftage deraf, ligesom Fedtet blev aftaget af Takofrets Lam, og Præsten skal gøre et Røgoffer deraf paa Alteret, tillige med Herrens Ildofre; og Præsten skal gøre Forligelse for ham, for hans Synd, hvormed han syndede, og det skal forlades ham.

and all the fat thereof, shall he remove as the fat of the lamb is removed, from the peace-offering, and the priest shall make a perfume therewith at the altar, upon the altar-flames of Yahweh, —so shall the priest put a propitiatory-covering over him on account of his sin which he hath committed, and it shall be forgiven him.
