Esajas 26
1 Paa den Dag skal denne Sang synges i Judas Land: Vi have en stærk Stad, Frelse sætter han til Mure og Værn.
In the day that it will be sung the song this in [the] land of Judah a city of strength [belongs] to us salvation he sets walls and a rampart.
2 Oplader Portene, at der maa indgaa et retfærdigt Folk, som bevarer Troskab.
Open [the] gates so it may enter a nation righteous [which] keeps faithfulness.
3 Den Fortrøstning staar fast: Du bevarer Fred, Fred; thi paa dig forlader man sig.
An inclination firm you will keep peace - peace for in you [he is] trusting.
4 Forlader eder paa Herren stedse og altid; thi den Herre, Herre er en evig Klippe.
Trust in Yahweh until perpetuity for [is] Yahweh Yahweh a rock of everlastingness.
5 Thi han nedbøjer dem, som bo i det høje, den ophøjede Stad; han skal fornedre den, han skal fornedre den til Jorden, han skal slaa den ned indtil Støvet.
For he will lay low [the] inhabitants of a high place a town set on high he will bring low it he will bring low it to [the] ground he will make touch it to [the] dust.
6 Foden skal nedtræde den, den elendiges Fødder, de ringes Fodtrin.
It will trample it a foot [the] feet of [the] afflicted [the] footsteps of poor [people].
7 Den retfærdiges Sti er jævn; du jævner den retfærdiges Vej.
[the] way Of the righteous [is] level paths O upright [one] [the] track of [the] righteous you make level.
8 Ja, paa dine Dommes Sti, Herre! have vi forventet dig; til dit Navn og til din Ihukommelse er vor Sjæls Længsel.
Also [the] way of judgments your O Yahweh we have waited for you [is] for name your and for memory your [the] desire of self.
9 Med min Sjæl længes jeg efter dig om Natten; med min Aand i mit Indre vil jeg søge dig aarle; thi naar dine Domme komme ned til Jorden, da lære Jorderiges Indbyggere Retfærdighed.
Self my I have desired you in the night also spirit my in inner being my I will seek you for when judgments your [are] to the earth righteousness they learn [the] inhabitants of [the] world.
10 Bliver den ugudelige benaadet, da lærer han ikke Retfærdighed; han gør Uret i Rettens Land og ser ikke Herrens Højhed.
He is shown favor [the] wicked not he learns righteousness in a land of straightforwardness he acts unjustly and not he sees [the] majesty of Yahweh.
11 Herre! din Haand er høj, dog skue de det ikke; de skulle skue din Nidkærhed for dit Folk og beskæmmes; ja, Ilden skal fortære dem, som ere dine Fjender.
O Yahweh it is raised hand your not they behold! they will behold and they may be ashamed [the] zeal of a people also [the] fire of opponents your it will consume them.
12 Herre! du skal skaffe os Fred; thi endog alle vore Gerninger har du gjort for os.
O Yahweh you will establish peace for us for also all works our you have done for us.
13 Herre, vor Gud! der have andre Herskere hersket over os foruden dig; ved dig alene prise vi dit Navn.
O Yahweh God our they have ruled over us lords except you only in you we bring to remembrance name your.
14 De døde leve ikke op igen, Dødningerne opstaa ikke; derfor har du hjemsøgt og ødelagt dem og udslettet al deres Ihukommelse.
Dead [ones] not they will live shades not they will rise therefore you have visited and you have destroyed them and you have destroyed all remembrance of them.
15 Du formerede Folket, Herre! du formerede Folket, du er bleven herliggjort; du har flyttet alle Landets Grænser langt bort.
You have added to the nation O Yahweh you have added to the nation you have gained glory you have extended all [the] boundaries of [the] land.
16 Herre! i Angesten søgte de dig, de udøste deres stille Bøn, der du tugtede dem.
O Yahweh in distress people sought you they poured out! a whisper chastening your [was] to them.
17 Ligesom den frugtsommelige, naar hun er nær ved at føde, bliver bange og raaber i sine Veer, saa gik det os, Herre! for dit Ansigt.
Like a pregnant [woman] [who] she brings near to give birth she is in labor she cries out in labor-pains her so we were because of you O Yahweh.
18 Vi gik frugtsommelige med noget, vare bange, men da vi fødte, blev det til Vind; vi skaffede Landet ikke nogen Frelse, og Jorderiges Indbyggere kom ej til Live.
We were pregnant we were in labor like we gave birth to wind deliverance not we accomplish [the] earth and not they fall [the] inhabitants of [the] world.
19 Dine døde skulle leve, mine afdøde skulle opstaa; vaagner op, og synger med Fryd, I som bo i Støv! thi din Dug er Dug over grønne Urter, og Jorden skal give Dødningerne tilbage.
They will live dead [ones] your corpse my they will rise! awake and shout for joy O [those who] dwell of dust for [will be the] dew of lights dew your and [the] earth [the] shades it will make fall.
20 Gak, mit Folk! gak ind i dine inderste Kamre, og luk dine Døre efter dig; skjul dig et lidet Øjeblik, indtil Vreden gaar over.
Come O people my go in rooms your and shut (door your *Q(K)*) behind you hide like a little of a moment until (it has passed by *Q(k)*) indignation.
21 Thi se, Herren gaar ud fra sit Sted for at hjemsøge Jordens Indbyggeres Misgerning; og Jorden skal aabenbare det udgydte Blod og ikke længere skjule sine ihjelslagne.
For there! Yahweh [is] about to go forth from place his to visit [the] iniquity of [the] inhabitant[s] of the earth on him and it will reveal the earth blood its and not it will cover still over slain [ones] its.
